I tried running chkdsk/f, but I was told I did not enough privleges and had to UN mode high. What should I do?

I tried to run chkdsk /f on my computer at home, but I was told I had no sufficient privileges and had to run chkdsk /f in elevated mode.  How can I get enough privilege or run in elevated mode?
