  I have Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows. It runs on a Windows 32 - bit Windows Vista VirtualBox virtual machine.

  It worked fine, but suddenly opening of raw images from Nikon is no longer opens the Camera Raw dialog box, but takes me directly into the editing on Photoshop Elements.

  I really like having the area of the Camera Raw dialog box to open as I do most of my treatment using this before opening the file that results in the elements of the image.

  Does anyone know how to get this back box, or open in the elements?

  Check your settings screen for vista resolution.

  I believe that the resolution of the screen should be at least 1024 x 768 for the dialog box camera raw show in pse 8.

  I have come to buy Photoshop elements 14 and downloaded on my Macbook Pro.l reception I received by e-mail gives a product code for Windows not for Mac (I don't remember there being an option to choose a Mac product, but that's another topic!) so when I try to enter the given code the program unsurprisingly says the code is invalid.   Thanks for the reply.  The problem was that the download of PSE12 Mac would not accept the serial number of Windows 12 PES.  I started a chat session and the representative of Adobe had to cancel Windows serial number and generate a Mac one.  I was able to complete the installation.  Yay!
