Boxes of blackBerry Smartphones two light on my homepage

From Saturday afternoon, I noticed that I have two different boxes, highlighted on my home page. My home page has 2 rows at the point of application and for some reason, as of this weekend, there is a box set prominently on the two lines. A last I touch on each line will remain grey while that for the moment I touch will be blue. I tried to restart my phone, I have not updated in a month or two, what do I do? Any ideas would be great! Thank you

Reboot THIS way: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones phone lights after battery died

Yesterday my completely dead phone, causing my phone turn off.  I got it for about 8 hours to charge, and I get nothing.  The red light for 15 seconds about, then off and then back on...

    Any suggestions?

You see on the screen a battery with a slash (/) symbol through it?

Leave the appliance to charge 2-3 hours and then, always toujours relie connected to the USB cable, remove the battery from the camera a few seconds and plug it back. If it starts - let - the charges to 100% (check the Options > status for the percentage). If it is not restart on the first attempt, leave several hours. I had a charge for two days before, she came back to life after extreme exhaustion of the battery. Every 3-4 hours with the device plugged into the charger, you can remove and replace the battery to see if it restarts.

Otherwise, no dead battery symbol... If your BlackBerry is still under tension turned off with a black screen, follow the instructions below. The only indication of life may be the flashing red indicator light in the upper corner. Nothing seems to wake and Desktop Manager does not recognize that a device is connected.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Congratulations! Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones two Playbooks

After trying to find the answer... I hope someone can help.  We are now a family playbook two, and I can't seem to share the same apps.  I found (impossible to find again) a response from the forum that you create the same ID of PB on the second playbook... up to 6 can be shared... and when I try to change the second playbook to my other ID playbook, said "cannot use it, already in use"... so it's not the answer. ".  Can someone guide me on how to share the same apps in the same family... Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the community!

It would be interesting that you could quote the authority who said that a BB ID could share up to 6 PBs. I understand that a BB ID can have a maximum of only 2 devices - a BB and a PB only... not sharing the way you want. Here are a few references I found:

    • KB28543 Expectations when you use the same BlackBerry ID on multiple devices

The result that you really should see, when you try to use the same ID on the 2nd device, is not as you said, but it should rather tell you that if you continue, it will move the assignment of the unit on the BB ID of the previous PB than that currently being recorded. Here again, in the docs, so I can find, all he says is that sharing the BB ID is not recommended... in fact it does not it will not work (at least not so far in that I can find).

Regarding the sharing of actual purchased... applications it is perhaps far too problematic. Software is still through the license and the system somehow AW would have followed what device what the apps installed, just in case where the software is licensed specifically to a device and the developer of the app did not no matter what sharing as you have raised. I understand that the reason for the rule of a single device is to prevent violating the licenses of app that would allow the application to be used only on one device and not share.

I'm pretty sure wrong... but so far I can't find anything to back up what you say, what allows 6 PBs to be entered to a BB ID apps and share. Maybe another user can have better information sources.

    Good luck!

    Hello

Before reloading your OS, please try this sequence... Note that during throughout the entire process 4h15m, your BB must stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones two calendars

When I got a new curve, I discovered that I have two calendars, one for each email address that I use on the curve.  The problem is that MS Outlook synchronizes only one of them.  Is it possible that I can combine the two or get Desktop Manager to synchronize the two?

There is a way, but this isn't the most convenient method. This is the KB on this subject: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB17992

    It is said that

    "Syncing with multiple calendars.

You can synchronize the BlackBerry Desktop Manager with multiple calendars. This requires you to change your default calendar and a translator in the correct type whenever you sync. »

  • Icon of mystery of blackBerry Smartphones - two circles connected by an underscore - what is it?

    Hi all

My new 8900 began by displaying a small icon (which looks like two small circles connected by underscore) to the right of my icons of message notification at the top left of my screen area.  Anyone know what this means?

    Thank you!

It is absolutely a voice mail waiting notification. Instead of your corporate voice mail, can you check voicemail on behalf for your cell phone number, if it is different.

There is no separate BlackBerry voicemail location. The BlackBerry does not have voicemail, does your carrier.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones retro lighting keyboard turn on and off by itself

I got a new Verizon BBTour today, I had no problem to transfer my BlackBerry Storm 9530. I typed my first email tonight and found that the backlight of the keyboard is disabled while I was typing, I was about to get up to turn on the light of the House, then light keyboard turn around himself, then a few seconds later to stop again. He was turning on and off itself.

Anyone have this problem? or does anyone know if there is a problem or that I need to set up somewhere? I checked the configuration on the screen/keyboard, this is exactly the same as the storm I. Help, please

    Joseph

The backlight on the keyboard is automatic and the sensitivity does not always fire when you would like to.  But, if you are in low light and keyboard backlight does not instantly, place your hand on the keyboard and he rip off and the light.  If the sensor captures a bit of light, albeit indirect, it turns off the backlight.

There is not currently of an option to change this behavior and it is battery.  It is not an irregular operation of the device.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones two ripe and spoiled for choice... Help?

I finally took the plunge and bought my first blackberry (8520). I signed up for the bb data plan and all that jazz, and it has been awesome so far.

So, here's the deal... the other day my brother bought and iPhone and decided that he did not want his old blackberry (9000). Can I use my data on its "BOLD" plan if it has been activated with my 8520? I thought I would use one as a backup when the other was in charge, or whatever haha (the spoilt for choice?). I asked people in the electronics store where I bought my blackberry but they said that my plan is not used on another blackberry device? is this true? because I still have doubts and that it is difficult to understand how this could be true...

PS - the two devices are unlocked (if that makes a difference? I am such a newbie haha)

    Yes, it can be.

If the Bold 9000 is unlocked, follow the instructions in the link below.

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB04322

Finally, you must ensure that the PIN of the bold has been released and is no longer on your old account of brothers. If you get an error making the change unit above which indicates the PIN code is stored on another medium, then your brother must ask his former carrier to release the AXIS of his account.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones two accounts on the BlackBerry Bold 9650

I had a "BOLD" of Verizon BlackBerry 9560 for about two months.  I use both an e-mail address of work through my company's BES and a Hotmail account.  Last week I had problems with Outlook duplicate appearing on my calendar, events so that our "wiped" IT Device Manager which seems to have solved this problem but brought another person that I need help with.

I put the device in a way that all notifications in my Messages folder (including work and emails Hotmail, texts, BB Messenger, missed calls and voicemail notifications). However, since the reset, two old items have disappeared:

First of all, I used to be able to choose if I wanted to send an email from my 'Office' (business address) or a Hotmail account by clicking "Email Composer" in the menu and then scroll up to above to: line and switch between the desktop (by default) and Hotmail. I would only be able to send from the office (i.e., there is no way to switch to Hotmail to send instead of this account). I tried 'Inbox settings' in the Options menu, but can't find out how to add the Hotmail account it.

The other problem is that for incoming Hotmail messages, when I clicked on delete I used to be able to choose if I wanted to "remove Pocket' or 'Delete from Handheld and account' (or something like that.  Now, if I click on delete a Hotmail message, it removes both the BlackBerry and the Hotmail account, which I still don't want to do.

    Any help/advice/suggestions?  Thank you!

    Hello!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

    (1) registry HRT

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS lines for these accounts.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Notification Light on missed calls

Past private 4 weeks iPhone there and very happy with the change. Lights, turntable and notification are remarkable and keep me organized. However, is it possible to trigger the light notification if I missed a call or if there voicmail?

Hello and welcome to the community!

In native mode... I can't find anything that does what you want. But, I think, in the Google game store, many add on apps that claim to do. You should check to see if you can find one that meets your desires.

Good luck and let us know!
