  • SOA Suite 12 c: BPEL 2.0: error bpel:getVariableProperty

    The SOA Suite version: 12.1.3

    BPEL specification: 2.0

    I am creating a BPEL with BPEL 2.0 process specification on SOA Suite 12.1.3 and I am running into errors when I try to use bpel:getVariableProperty. I reproduced the problem with a simple test case with a synchronization of BPEL process. The process has only:

    receiveInput

    Assign

    callBackClient

    The input schema is the default value with a node called entered as below:

    < feature name = 'process' >

    < complexType >

    <>sequence

    < element name = "input" type = "string" / >

    < / sequence >

    < / complexType >

    < / item >

    In the assign activity, I am trying to get the input value using getVariableProperty as below:

    BPEL:getVariableProperty('inputVariable',_'client:process/client:input')

    -NOTE: I also tried bpel:getVariableProperty('inputVariable',_'client:input') and bpel:getVariableProperty('inputVariable',_'input')

    When I deploy the BPEL process on soa_server1 and try to test em, I get an error like below:

    The process of the selected operation could not be invoked.

    An exception has occurred during the call to the Web service operation. Check the logs for more details.

    Kiran

    Hi Kiran,

    I don't know why you are using bpel:getVariableProperty, your variable has properties? It would be smarter to use getVariableData

    However, in BPEL 2.0 you don't need getVariableData, you can access all the content like that...

    $inputVariable.payload / client: input

    variableentree = name of the variable

    payload = party

    / client: Input = query

    How to read a Message of MQ, which has put in place with a BPEL correlation ID STRING and
    invoke the corresponding adapter JCA FTP put with this correlation ID in SOA Suite.
    Can someone let me know how to do this?

    Thank you

    You can use the below properties on the activity of reception of the MQ adapter and map it to a string variable.

    jca.mq.MQMD.CorrelId

    Inbound/outbound. The message to retrieve correlation identifier / to. Accepts a string encoded in hexadecimal.

    jca.mq.Inbound.MQMD.CorrelId

    Outgoing. Correlation identifier of the message recovered in the asynchronous req-response scenario. Accepts a hexadecimal encoded string

  • API to disable the process BPEL (State = stop) in Oracle soa suite 10 g

    Hello world

    I am looking for a solution disable a BPEL process without using the BPEL console in Oracle SOA suite 10 g. I was thinking about an API, but I can't find in the list below those that would be useful:

    http://download-UK.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28986/index.html?com/Oracle/BPEL/client/package-summary.html

    Any ideas?

    It also crossed my mind to use Ant by disabling a BPEL process. Anyone know if there are any available custom Ant task for updating the State of a BPEL process?

    I look forward to hearing from you all!

    Thank you!!

    SR

    Hi SR,

    You can do this by having a BPEL process with a java embedding containing code below.

    /*
     * Input Variables
    */
    String processName   = (String)getVariableData("processName");
    String revision      = (String)getVariableData("revision");

    /*
     * Declare variables.
    */
    IBPELProcessHandle procHandle = null;
    Locator loc = null;
    BPELProcessMetaData bpelProcessMetadata = null;

    try{
        /*
         * get Locator Instance
        */
        loc = getLocator();
        /*
         * Lookup Process. Revision optional.
        */
        if(revision == null || revision.trim().equals(""))
        {
          procHandle = loc.lookupProcess( processName );
        }
        else
        {
          procHandle = loc.lookupProcess(processName, revision);
        }
        if(procHandle == null)
        {
          throw new Exception("Unable to find process: " + processName);
        }
        /*
         * Get Metadata of the process.
        */
        bpelProcessMetadata = procHandle.getMetaData();

        /*
         * Set Lifecycle to Retired.
         * Use setState(IBPELProcessConstants.STATE_OFF) to change process state to off.
         */
        bpelProcessMetadata.setLifecycle(IBPELProcessConstants.LIFECYCLE_RETIRED);
        /*
         * Finally update the process with the modified metadata.
         */
        procHandle.updateMetaData(bpelProcessMetadata);
    }catch (Exception e)
    {
      addAuditTrailEntry(e);
    }

    If you wish, you can schedule this process.

  • Oracle SOA Suite 11 g Asynch BPEL still in operation

    Hi all

    I have an asynchronous BPEL flow which has a single receive activity, and then an invoke activity where it is external and WS appeal.

    This BPEL was working properly, all of a sudden I saw instances created this flow to keep their status as running and it does not evolve. All instances of this workflow are in operation now.

    What can cause this problem? I'm sure it's not a code problem. Can it be some configurationnel problem on the server side?

    Any comments would be appreciated

  • Oracle SOA Suite BPEL - automated Exchange

    Hello team!
    I have a little problem.
    We have a Version of WebLogic 10.3.2.0 - running a SOA Server on it.
    And Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g - Version 11.1.1.2.0.
    All turns on a Linux redhat-release-5Server - 5.4.0.3.

    Short and sweet:
    for example, there is a WebLogic deployment where you install the administration console or via a script (deployment program java weblogic).
    We use this for deployments - script-> simply change to the new version and the rest goes without saying. Great!
    Is it possible to do it for ProcesseĀ“s BPEL?

    If we get new BPEL processes (always the 8 and the same name) to go on our point of Enterprise Manager 'SOA' select (in our case one server) we choose the SOA server.
    We have now the overview 'Dashboard' composites provided. Here are all the processes BPEL-listed.
    Installprcess:
    In this menu, we click composite provided, then select the BPEL process we want 'change '. With "deploy again" (sorry - I Don t know how it is namend in English version - please look at the screenshots).
    http://ImageShack.us/photo/my-images/703/BPEL.jpg/
    Then you select archive and the configuration plan (up to now this location on my pc, but we can copy on the server).
    http://ImageShack.us/photo/my-images/851/bpel2.jpg/
    Then click on, 'are you sure' and so on click - it annoys me.
    Is it possible to do a script?

    Thank you all for the reply!
    If you need more info please tell me!

    THX
    Simon!

    You can use the Ant command line tools (use ant-sca-deployment with the option overwrite = true) or WLST scripts to redeploy.

  • Is there an equivalent of the file properties for BPEL?

    Hi people,
    I'm new to BPEL (Oracle SOA Suite). I wrote a BPEL process and it has some elements of data that continue to change.
    1. a DB connection, which at present is oriented with the DEV instance.
    2. an admin e-mail account that points to my personal e-mail ID in DEV.
    3. three Notification Email that DEV is my personal email ID

    Now it's time for the Production and so I have to change
    1. all configurations of the DB adapter as the database will be different (what I could get rid off the coast using data sources)
    2. actual Admin email address
    3. the actual e-mail addresses of end users

    I wonder that there should be a cleaner way to do this instead of going me and all processes of change and reconstruction to deploy to production. From J2EE background is there something equivalent to properties or braids of resource for BPEL files?

    I want something that I can set up such that I don't have to change/redeploy/restart the process whenever an end user is changed.

    At the moment I use a DB Table to store pairs name / value of these accessories. I know it's a desperate attempt, but it works :)

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Codean,

    You can set the evaluation criteria. Procedure is described in the BPEL Developer's Guide, chapter 19 "deployment processes": http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28981/deployproc.htm#sthref3366.

    In short, you customize the task bpelc by adding custom breakpoint properties to your partner links as it is explained in paragraphs 19.1.3.1 and 19.1.3.2. Our development team have a good feeling on this method of customization. However, instead of using the ant-orapbel-properties file we use the only used separate property file for the endpoints. We also use a link partner by environment properties file (DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD,...), so we do not have to edit these files for each deployment properties.

    Kind regards
    H
