break a form into several objects

I created this color wheel with concentric circles and lines turned. I then used the live paint bucket to fill spaces. I would like to separate each different color in its own object. How can I do?

Thank you
Phil

Select all objects live paint, then pass the object > live paint > Expand. This should allow to select each object with the direct Selection tool.

  • Clip mask texture into several objects?

    Hello forumers.

    Im trying to clip mask this texture in these suddenly crashes, but it is not anythnig.i know it can be done with objects.but can be done with textures as well?

    upload-to-adobe.jpg

    What is texture? A layer, a layer of boss?

    Are the blocks a layer with transparency, a layer mask, a vector mask, or six different layers?

    Could you post a screenshot of the layers panel?

    "You can use the layer Style' Pattern Overlay", if the texture is a model.

    If it is a layer and the blocks are six different layers you could merge together (command-E) or convert to a smart object and cutting and then hide.

  • D110A all-in-scanner, breaking the image into several parts

    The scanner worked fine until recently.  Copier and printer functions work well, however, the scanner started braeak images in 7 + - sections instead of one. What should do? Thank you!

    Hi espritman,

    I understand perfectly. When you change the type of photos, you also changed the harvest? What you can do is, change the "type" to the image, the "harvest" or not to open, paper size and then save those settings as a preset. To save a preset, click the drop down next to predefined settings, choose Save as and create the new preset.

    I hope this helps.

  • Is there a tool or function (in Illustrator or InDesign) that selects any form and 'punches' a 'hole' of this form down through several objects for the paper or the work plan?

    Is there a tool or function (in Illustrator or InDesign) that selects any form and 'punches' a 'hole' of this form down through several objects for the paper or the work plan?

    Your objects punch must be in a large group; It will cut through all that is below.

    Create the shape you want to cut and set it to black Uni. Select your group and your form and (in the transparency palette), click make mask.

    Uncheck the Clip, and then return to the palette.

  • Creation of several objects in resource for OOTB connectors

    All,

    I am trying to create a second object of resource AD user for the STANDARD connector. I'd like to think that the connector AD (and all connectors, for that matter) has been designed to manage the creation of several objects in resource for the same Types of resources, but I'm bad? It does not appear the IOM connector can handle this easily.

    Does anyone has created several objects of resource for a connector? It is a relatively simple task, or it will require a big effort? Is it still possible? Pointers?

    Thank you!

    I'll give you a little help with replication. I found the best way to do is to import the original connector. Cross the diff鲥ntes pieces that each have a unique name, which is not part of one of the other names of piece. You must have unique names for the following:

    1 object resource
    2. process definition - commissioning
    3 resource
    4. form - process
    5 scheduled task

    After you import the connector, all of the following for renaming into something unique. I would also update your form of process to have a default value of your IT resources, as well as your scheduled task for point values to new unique names. Export the 5 elements, without addictions. The cards will be the same. Use find and replace the values, and then import the new XML. If it works, duplicate the XML file for each of the new workflows that you want to create.

  • Can I create a form using the object styles in InDesign

    Hello

    Is it possible to create a form in the object Styles I can create in InDesign? I know that I can attribute some qualities, but I would like to create a capsule form that will be repeated throughout a page of lists in our sites.

    So far, I have to copy, paste, and anchor the object in the text which is quite time that we have thousands of ads, and life is too short for mundane tasks.

    If I can create a form of object Styles, by entering its dimensions, it will allow me to create the style for import into InDesign, 4 d, our CMS.

    If not, can we have it in a new construction, please Adobe?

    I look forward to your reply.

    Thank you

    Roy

    That can be done with tabs and styles nested using underscore with a custom stroke style. I hope that these screenshots should explain it...

  • How to subtract a grunge texture of a layer with several objects?

    Hi all

    I've been struggling with this for hours. Would be very grateful for help.

    I'm trying to apply a vintage texture to some vector illustrations.

    In the screenshot, the work I created is in the layer of "work." I tried to simplify the work as much as possible by using the union, merge, expand, etc. I wanted to do a piece of work, but that seems so simple that I can get it.

    When I try to perform a subtraction on the layer 'work' with the layer of 'texture', basically everything disappears.

    I suspect that it does not work as expected because the layer of my work is always composed of several objects and not a unified object.

    Vintage texture superimposed on the work looks good, but I need this subtraction in vector because I intend to get it printed on a shirt in one color, so I can't get the holes filled with color.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    How can I activate art in a single compound path?

    First of all, to unite all paths with the first button in the Pathfinder palette. Then choose object > compound path > make (or press Command-8).

    But don't do it this way. Use an opacity mask.

    If I use the grunge texture as an opacity mask, do I still to transform the art into a single compound path first or I can do to a layer with several objects as if it were now?

    No, you have not; You can keep a complete editibility of your design. You need to just design group firstly, why the opacity mask applies to all this.

    Opacity masks are easier to use if you uncheck "Clip" after their creation. Then, all parts of the mask that is black will be transparent; each part that is white will be opaque, and the things which are shades of gray will be partially transparent. Just like in Photoshop. Right now, your grunge texture is white, so you would need to change to black after making your opacity mask.

  • Linear gradient angle is comprehensive for several objects?

    Hello

    I was wondering if I missed something, or simply confirm the way that the angle of a linear gradient is applied to several objects.

    This image has a gradient applied to all 4 objects (selected together, so both applied gradient).

    Capture-linear-gradient-angle-1.PNG

    The angle is set to 90 degrees, and here the color flows from black to pink, from top to bottom for all.

    This is the effect I want to achieve:

    Capture-linear-gradient-angle-2.PNG

    I.e. each object has the gradient flowing along its own form. I did it by editing the gradient on each individually, not these difficulties with 4 items, however a bit of a barrier for many (e.g. scales or fur, applied with a brush of art).

    I tried the gradient of construction in the predefined brush, but got an error message on the attributes is not not compatible with the brush.

    So... is this correct / expected Illustrator CS6 behavior and/or can achieve the same with efficiency for many, many items all at once?

    Jeff,

    You can create a path (set) with a basic form and the corresponding mix and use it for an Art Brush.

    I'm not sure how far it happens that you desire/need.

  • Doing so may break BC forms up in separate pages for surveys?

    Hello community,

    I always try to improve the user experience. A site that I'm frequently the management has long surveys or the user of the need to fill forms. As it is now, the form of Drag and Drop everything goes on a single page and can be very, very long. You know a way I can split this form in several pages so that all this information is collected, but at least an intesnive and intimidate the way? It would also be nice to be able to use this feature for I can do users to fill out questions without having seen the following questions.

    Hi Steve,.

    I think you're looking "multistep webform" Setup. Basically this allows you to split the form into multiple pages.

  • Separate an object into multiple objects w / Pen

    I am looking for a way to draw a single object, solid and then divide the object into multiple objects by using the pen tool. no other objects.

    Ex: Draw a solid cirlce, use the pen tool to draw lines on this circle (visually by creating different forms), then [be] with the original circle and lines drawn in pen to create the new objects/shapes.

    I've done this before by placing other OBJECTS on the original object and using the fracture or pathfinder trim switches, but using other forms (even online) has its limits.

    Any ideas?

    CS6

    Dan,

    We are not just talking object > path > divide objects below (when the drawn Pen path reaches or exceeds the paths below), are we?

  • Set the reference point for several objects in the middle of the document

    Hello community,

    I want to mirror a layout.

    I: Yes

    1. Select all objekts

    2. set the benchmark in the Middle

    3. objects in mirror

    BUT

    The reference point is in the middle of all the OBJECTS. This led to several objects across the border into my document because the layout is not spread out on a regular basis.

    I want through the DOCUMENT will be the point of reference. How can I do?

    Thank you

    Christian

    Have you fiugured this out yourself?

    I just played a little and found a method, but it is not really intuitive. Select the object, then go to the rotation tool. The center of rotation must be defined as one of the handles of transformation, but you can drag it anywhere you like, then move until you want as the center of your mirror. Hold down the Opt/Alt key and click on the button to create a mirrored copy. The objects original reflects their position around the reference repositioned without the modifier key.

  • Number of Splittling into a field into several sections

    Hello

    I is currently working on a project where a user enters the required information on the digital registration form, what auto and then fills the data entered on multiple documents. While the majority of data preserves the integrity of format in any of the documents, I am running issues with documents that deviate from this format to standard input. For example, when users enter the following numbers, they are entered in a single line of text:

    Input Field.PNG

    However, the output on a required document divides these figures into several sections:

    Output Field.PNG

    The output document is not managed by my business and I can't make changes to the formatting of the document. Can someone help me find a way to divide the single line of text in the fields as shown camps?

    If you import the form data in the second form, create the NCPDP field # and make it hidden. The visible fields to create three to contain all three parts of the number, for example: NCPDP2.1, NCPDP2.2, and NCPDP2.3

    You can then use a custom for the hidden field of NCPDP validation script is something like the following:

    Custom validation script

    (function () {}

    Do nothing if the field is empty

    If (! event.value) return;

    Fill in the other fields if the length of the string is correct

    If (event.value.length = 7) {}

    getField("NCPDP2.1").value = event.value.slice (0, 2);

    getField("NCPDP2.2").value = event.value.slice (2, 6);

    getField("NCPDP2.3").value = event.value.slice (6).

    } else {}

    What do you do here if the length of the string is not 7?

    }

    })();

    Search for the string slice method in any reference decent JavaScript for more information on its operation. Note that you can make the subfields in the fields of combs to match the spacing of the boxes.

  • Combining separate text into single object...

    I remember in older versions of Illustrator that when you used pathfinder to combine several objects into a single object... it actually made into a single object, regardless of the weather or not, they where cutting.

    With versions more recent Illustrator, when you try to 'unit' objects pathfinder... the only ones that are actually combined into a single object are those that overlap... whatever it is separate is simply "bundled" and remains a totally separate object... even if you use "expand objects" on the group.

    I try to use a third-party program (styler path) and the problem that I am running is when I apply a stroke effect to styler path, he treats each letter in my title as a separate object (even if United for pathfinder), causing the lines overlap the previous letter.

    overlap.jpg

    What I want to do is to combine all the letters into a single object (while still leaving space between each letter) so that the styler way treats the text (and edges) correctly. (Thus contours run in the other, instead of overlapping of the filling.)

    Any help would be appreciated... This should be simple... but I think it may be a case of the program trying to preserve the history of objects 'United' when I don't want it.

    Thank you!

  • Merger of Gradient shapes into single object

    I have 2 forms square on my artborad.  each square has its own background gradient.  I want to merge these 2 forms to a single form.  not a group of shapes, but a single, flattened object (complicated?).

    the gradient of the first place includes a zero-alpha.  the second image is simply two forms in layers, but I mainly want to flatten it to form a single shape.

    Screen shot 2011-02-02 at 7.17.50 PM.png

    Screen shot 2011-02-02 at 7.18.24 PM.png

    What are the steps to the merger of these forms into one form, so that their gradients are not affected by the merger with each other?

    You cannot merge forms.

    What you can do is to draw a new shape and apply to multiple fills via the appearance Panel and set each fill either the desired slope.

  • dissection of an image into several pieces at a time

    Hello forumers.

    I'd like know if I can dissect a picture into several pieces at a time, as in illustrator I can use the tool.ive pathfinder makes a picture with a box

    and as you can see there the lines guides, is there a command in the ps that can make guidelines dissect the image? I know that the guidelines

    can turn into a slice, but it's for the web if im not wrong.

    Thank you.upload-to-adobe.jpg

    Unfortunately, Photoshop doesn't have a pathfinder in Illustrator.

    To break an image (for example: shattered glass), I

    • make a selection (from paths, or channels or layer masks)
    • Order J float a copy of this layer
    • back to my original layer, make a new selection and repeat this operation as many times as necessary.

    Alien Skin Software has a few effects plug-in to do this, but I usually like manually create effects to have a more personal rather than watching canned.
