Bridge creates jpg out flood-help

After downloading the images from my camera, I noticed that bridge creates JPG duplicate for each photo originally recorded on my Canon RAW format.

In other words, what I have is RAW + JPG, RAW + JPG etc.. It takes a lot of space.

How to return to the original settings? Help, please.

First, check your device settings. It may be that you have accidentally set your Raw and jpeg instead of Raw mode only.

  • Since the update Windows 10, my CS5 Photoshop created jpg are no longer visible in Windows Explorer (File Manager)

    Since the update Windows 10, my CS5 Photoshop created jpg are no longer visible in Windows Explorer (File Manager).  I have reset Photoshop like application default for jpg files, rebooted.  Nothing has changed.  The ideas people?

    Hi R_Kelly,

    Hidden folder/file settings was the first place, I checked and kept checking each new reboot.

    I have copied below my temporary solution I posted in another forum thread.

    See point 7.  I found a way to make it visible again.

    1. I can see all jpg files created before Win10 update AND all the jpgs created by other programs, other than Photoshops after Win 10 update.

    2 Photoshop cannot see the newly created Photoshop created jpg files in the file picker at all since Upgrade to Win 10.  I've never had a problem of invisibility of file before winning 10 update.  My hidden files were always checked to be visible.  However, Photoshop can open if listed files in a basic text file search in Windows Explorer in the path of the file "recently used".

    3. the files are not visible or clickable at all in Windows Explorer tree or the Photoshop file selector. They become open and visible when listed in a basic text file search in Windows Explorer in the path of the file "recently used".

    4 Microsoft Office applications can't see the new Photoshop created Jpg files in file, only pre Win 10 update pickers jpg created by other applications and versions.

    5. the problem occurs only with Photoshop jpg created after the Win 10 update.

    6. I checked the settings "Show hidden files, folders and files of the operating system", and they remain as they were, which allows all the hidden to visible objects.  I kept the visibility settings files in this way since the early 1990s.

    Temporary fix below *.

    7. I did yet another simple search of the text Windows Explorer, he finds invisible jpg files less all links 'recently used' who were there yesterday (2nd day after I created the files), I checked the location of file properties file and it entered the original file I saved their.  Using a right-click of the mouse on the file to bring up the menu actions and file properties, I was able to copy and then paste the file into another directory.  I jumped on the directories to see if it remains visible and he (Yes). The new copy is now visible to the pickers of file in Photoshop and Microsoft Office applications.

  • How can I create jpgs in a folder of raw photos in Lightroom

    I shoot raw and generally use an action in Photoshop to create jpg for file sharing. Is it possible to create a folder of raw images with the settings used to directly improve photos in lightroom? I know that I can export, create, and burn on the media, but I want to leave them in the folder with the raw images in Lightroom so that they are accessible from collections with mobile devices.

    Top of page Export value export: hard drive.

    Then online before the end set export to: same folder as the original picture.

    If you want to make jpg files to import into LR, check the box add to this catalogue.

    Middle of page, format jpg set, quality, color space.

  • 6224 multicast flooding help

    I'm a noob on the hardware side and would appreciate some guidance from someone with more knowledge than myself on the intricacies of multicast routing.

    This should be a simple setup, and it works for our needs, but I want to prevent the multicast packet flooding that is occurring on VLAN 20.

    In the docs I've found examples on setting up igmp snooping so I've tried those, but with no luck. The multicast data keeps showing up on all the ports of VLAN 20. I also tried setting up a 33rd VLAN and tried to route the multicast data from VLAN 10 to VLAN 20 with no luck.

    Details:

    This 6224P is the only switch on this stand alone network. The multicast data is coming in on interface 1/g3 from 192.168.21.150 to multicast address 231.168.21.150. There are two computers on 1/g11 and 1/g12 that join the multicast to receive the data and I would like to prevent the multicast from travelling back out the rest of VLAN 20. The two computer are also communicating to other devices on the VLAN. There's two devices broadcasting data as well as 3 other devices being controlled via standard TCP/IP connections.

    The trunked ports were setup as a simple link to a back up switch with the same config in the event of a failure.

    The switch is handling the load just fine, but the other devices on VLAN 20 are a bit overwhelmed by the multicast data.

    Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

  • Why my model created the out of sync page break?

    Hello

    I am relatively new to this, after reading in the classroom in a book on Dreamweaver CS6, I thought I would try my own Web site.

    I ' relatively simple and there are only 4 pages derived a model.

    3 pages look good and jump from one to the other while is precisely recorded.

    1 page however refuses to play ball and is horizontally out of register with the other 3 pages - it moves about 3 mm to the left

    I isolated it as being down to the text in the main editable region. If I remove a paragraph (any one), she returned to be in the registry with the other pages.

    When you create the template itself I gave lesser amounts of text in situ in the editable area so that I could just cut and paste it, I also did it for the title which seems to work well.

    Below is the code from a code of the home page which is fine and the problem on the graphic Communication page

    Also attached link to site that is hosted outside (set up by someone who knows what they are doing)

    Any help would be welcome

    Normally, you would have an external stylesheet for your site. Each page is linked to this style sheet.

    In your case, you put style rules in the document, which is Ok except when it comes to maintenance.

    To answer your question, place the code just above the rules of body style as in

    html {
      overflow-y:scroll;
    }

    body {
      background-color: #000;
      text-align: center;
      margin: 0px;
      padding: 0px;
      color: #EEE;
    }

    If you have no plans to use the external style sheet, the rule for the html will not negatively affect other pages.

  • Accidentally created a referenced library - Help!

    I just finished the importation of hundreds of photos from an external drive and them organized into albums photos Apple on my iMac.  Some of these albums already contained the photos stored on my iMac (physically) locally.  Now, I found that I don't have the option import 'returned copy at the library' selected, so none of the images have been stored locally on my iMac.  I now have albums in which some of the photos are locally registered, but the vast majority is referenced on the external drive (which I don't want to stay connected).  Needless to say I want to have all the photos stored locally.  The only way I can say to those that is referenced is to open and wait for the message "the volume of xxxx.jpg is not found!"

    Help!  If I connect the external hard drive, is it possible to easily make the library referenced a 'good' managed library by some massive copy of all the files referenced?  The thought of having to do it carefully by hand, file-by-file is unbearable.

    Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

    You can move the files referenced automatically.

    Create a smart album in Photos (file > new smart album) and use a rule "Photo is referenced.

    Select some of the photos in this smart album, and then use the command "file > consolidate."  Who will move the photos referenced in your photo library.

    Continue using ' file > consolidate "for several photos selected until the smart album is empty and all the pictures are safe in your library.

    When you create a new smart album, Photos not open automatically. The smart album will appear in the sidebar in the folder in the album section you currently selected, or to the top level of the Album section.   To bring up the sidebar with the albums enter the combination of keys ⌥⌘S (command-option-S).

    It would be tempting to try to move all the pictures at once, but I found that it's easier to do it in small slices, just in case one of the referenced files could not be found. It will be easier to detect the photos that may give problems, if you did not attempt to move all at once.

  • Creating a network - please help

    Hello world

    I am trying to create a network of laboratory where I install on 1st vm machine - Windows 2008 R2. This vm machine will have a static ip address, that I posted on my home network. This server is also the DC and the DHCP server.

    Then, I installed 3 vm machines with windows 7.

    My question is how to make the server to access the internet is the bridge with the network card host but at the same time providing DHCP for the other 3 machines to winodws 7.

    Config:

    DC: 192.168.0.50

    DG: 192.168.0.1 (home Modem is DG)

    The DHCP scope: 192.168.0.51 - 60

    I want to add 3 Windows 7 machines to the domain.

    I would be grateful someone help with this or if you could point me in the right direction, where it is documented not confusedly. I'm new on this.

    Thank you

    Rather than fill the machines, simply put your DC and the Windows machine to the VMnet even and your DC, put the IP of the Modem home gateway

    Hello guys.

    I have a problem for my connection work bridged on my virtual machine.

    Data sheet:

    : Server Debian Lenny 5

    3 IP is already configured in static and work

    Installed VMware Server 2. Great work.

    33580 10 vmnet

    15620 vsock 0

    VMCI 43620 2 vsock

    vmmon 60484 6

    Virtual machine installed.

    Ubuntu 9.10 Server with a minimum of gdm.

    The comments interface is configured with dhcp.

    I have setup the connection to the server bridged vmw to eth0: 1, the 3 ip address of the host. When I try ifconfig on the host I see vmnet1 and vmnet8 but I don't see vmnet0.  Anyway, until I reinstalled vmware, when I used to go to the bridge connection, after awhile the host lost the configuration of interfaces and all 3 ip addresses were assigned to the operating system virtual and strange and really stressing that it is.

    I'm a newbie on the use of vmware and I have never configured or managed bridged connection. What should I do in my case? I want almost just my virtual machine to share 1 ip with the host.

    And yes I tried to configure my interfaces with DHCP hosts, but after awhile, the configuration will automatically static...

    On the web interface of vmware, I see that the comments field is identified but all-IP. In any case, this area is not true, it's just a name I put. Maybe I need to set the host reviews domain too? Anyway, even the host is a domain. Host interfaces I just address; network mask; gateway for eth0 and just address and the mask for the other 2 remaining IP... all static.

    I'm googleing for quite awhile now, but the seams I can't solve. I'd love to read any suggestion. In fact I really need some advice.

    Thanks in advance.

    Nothing changed, ifconfig - a shows exactly the same thing I showed you on the previous posts.

    Good.

    Why they change?

    Because people tend to try things and posting them here.

    I don't spot anything.

    Good.

    Should I implement something?

    Not requested by me.

    You told me I couldn't have bridged connection after I showed you the ifconfig-a, but why?

    No, I didn't tell you that. I only told you that you cannot use an IP address on two hosts. The client needs its own unique IP address, but you announced, according to me, it doesn't even have an IP address.

    I don't want no special configuration. I just want to have regular bridged connection. What makes it 'different' in my case is

    I have 3 dedicated IP addresses, but I don't think it's a problem.

    It depends on where you use IP addresses. If they are already used on the host computer does not have one of them in the comments.

    You say: but remember, you cannot use the same IP address on two hosts at the same time. And you have two hosts

    (the VMware host and guest in VMware). This is the default configuration of vmware server?

    Regardless of if you use VMware or something different. Once you have created a system of comments (virtual machine) you have two hosts. The host where VMware Server works on and the virtual machine. And with each client, you add that you add a host computer. It is not complicated. It is the same as if you would add a physical host to your network. And each host needs a unique IP address. No matter if you use bridge or a NAT. It's as simple as that. Standard TCP/IP enterprise.

    I don't want to host 2 or I don't want this complicated thing.

    If you don't want two hosts, why you started with virtualization. It is the purpose of database virtualization. Add hosts without having to buy equipment for the new. Maybe you didn't know that the I mentioned the virtual machine also as host.

    Or perhaps what you mean, it's that I can't use the same static IP address on the host and the guest at the same time?

    Exactly! But that is not because you use filled, this is because TCP/IP works this way. All over the world, on all systems that use the TCP/IP protocol.

    I think you are missing some basics:

    VMware offers three types of failure of networks. All apply to all TCP/IP rules.

    Everything first a 'bridge' or VMnet0:

    When you use a connection open, the guest connects seamlessly to the network. By using its own MAC address and using its own unique IP configuration.

    Second, one is 'host-only' or VMnet1:

    Again, the client has its own unique valid IP configuration, but it is not connected to the physical network, but to a virtual (VMnet1). The host is also connected to VMnet1 via its virtual adapter VMnet1. VMnet1 is a separate IP subnet, it has its own subnet IP address (default something like 192.168.x.x).

    Third is "NAT" or VMnet8:

    It is also a virtual network as VMnet1 but here the host acts as a proxy for the guest. The host has its own unique and valid IP (from subnet IP VMnet8) address and uses a virtual IP address as its gateway to the outside world (physical network). Using NAT allows to hide the comments of the physical network because each package seems to come form the host.

    So, if you want to have your comments using a bridge connection, assign an IP address, which NO other host uses. Unfortunately I can't help you here, as you xxxxx'ed the information most important in your post, IP addresses. These IP addresses are the reason for which this information is requested in this forum. If they must be kept secret, you can xxx the first three digits of the address, but must appear at least in the last three games. Otherwise, we cannot check if they are correct or not.

  • Moving files with bridge creates a copy of QC

    I'm trying to use Adobe Bridge with Adobe CQ to manage our video content. I was able to set up the bridge and CQ in order to match their metadata fields. I can edit video files and other information metadata in Adobe Bridge, and this information is then reflected inside CQ.

    The only problem I'm having now is that when I use the function move to Adobe Bridge is not actually move the file. Instead, a copy is created and moved to the new folder, the old folder still contains the original file. This breaks the workflow within the CQ and makes unnecessary function. The move feature works fine locally simply not trying to move the server from CQ.

    East - mossible does that have to do with permerssions on the side of the CQ? I'm able to move inside the CQ by using the same account that I am connected to the bridge via reader.

    Thanks for any help.

    Uh, I don't think that's true. The market specifically to work with Adobe QC so I don't know what you mean by "a network environment.

    In all cases, the problem looks like one with the instance of CQ and the permissions it works fine on the local instances of CQ.

  • Bridge creates unwanted on my desktop folders.

    I have recently updated to os x Lion.

    Since then everytime I open the bridge (CS5) it creates 4 folders on my desktop.

    'data', 256, 1024 and "full".

    Can someone tell me where to stop this happening. Can't find anything in the preferences.

    Help. It's driving me crazy.

    'data', 256, 1024 and "full".

    What are the 4 folders that contain your preview and thumbnails cache. By default, they must reside in the library of the user of your user account. The path is: ~ (user) / library/caches/Adobe/Bridge CS5/cache

    Also by default, the library user in OSX7 is hidden, do a Google search on the way to reveal the library.

    And check your section of Bridge preferences Cache. Inherent you can choose the location, you have probably changed it on your desktop? and this isn't a good place for it. The cache may reach huge proportions according to the amount of files, file size and display 100% you use.
