Bridge creates unwanted on my desktop folders.

I have recently updated to os x Lion.

Since then everytime I open the bridge (CS5) it creates 4 folders on my desktop.

'data', 256, 1024 and "full".

Can someone tell me where to stop this happening. Can't find anything in the preferences.

Help. It's driving me crazy.

'data', 256, 1024 and "full".

What are the 4 folders that contain your preview and thumbnails cache. By default, they must reside in the library of the user of your user account. The path is: ~ (user) / library/caches/Adobe/Bridge CS5/cache

Also by default, the library user in OSX7 is hidden, do a Google search on the way to reveal the library.

And check your section of Bridge preferences Cache. Inherent you can choose the location, you have probably changed it on your desktop? and this isn't a good place for it. The cache may reach huge proportions according to the amount of files, file size and display 100% you use.

  • Unwanted in 'My pictures' folders are multiplying. I can't get rid of them.

"My pictures" file has reproduced hundreds of my dozens of images of time and I can't get rid of them.  I highlight, hit 'clear' and while they are moved to the Recycle Bin, they are also copied, so I find myself with the same overwhelming files I want.  Now, Picasa is also importing and copying.  Help, please.

Unwanted copies have file names with

    Example: Copy of IMG_1455.JPG

Maybe the info will shed light...
failure to completely release the mouse button
When moving from one room to another is
    the cause of unwanted copies.

Here's how to reproduce the unwanted

Hold down your CTRL key and select multiple files...

Place your pointer over the selected group

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it works for you.

    Method 1:

To remove the desktop folder, start safe mode and then try to delete the folder prom there. In Safe Mode, none of the third-party program/APP or virus cannot block the delete task.

Step 1: start in safe mode.

How to work with files and folders:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/files-folders-Windows-Explorer

    Microsoft safety scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. During these 10 days, it will remove all the files infected by the virus and records. I suggest you create a backup of your data, and then install Microsoft Safety Scanner.

Have you always had this problem with the creation of a new folder?  When you try to create that file to?  Please let us know status.  Thank you!

I'd like to experience for me to better understand the potential cause for what you are experiencing.

What we will do is create a new folder in your user profile directory and test the availability of renaming.

We also create a folder on your desktop and attempt to appropriate to see if we can then rename it.

Here are the steps to do this:

Click Start-> click on your username at the top right of the menu.

In the new window, click on organize-> then new folder

    Check your ability to rename.

From there, double-click the desktop folder.

Take the same steps to create a new folder, test the name change.

Then, on an issue that you cannot rename, test this procedure:

To take ownership of a folder:

Right-click the folder for which you want to set permissions, click Properties and then click the Security tab.

Click Advanced to open the security settings advanced for the dialog box .

Click on the owner tab, click on change. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

In the new security settings advanced to box, the change in ownership to: field, select your username and check Replace owner of subcontainers and objects. Click OK, repeat for the other boxes. (If your username does not appear click on the button other users or groups to add your account).

    Try to rename the folder.

Once you are complete with tests, you can delete the folder created by right-clicking on them and selecting Remove.

  • I have 9 other "desktop" folders in my file user desktop screen.

The computer is a Toshiba Satellite with Vista Home Premium SP2 64-bit operating system. When I click on the folder of the user on the desktop of the screen and click on the desktop icon in the folders pane, I see the normal icons. Under the user folder icon, there are 2 icons in the desktop folder. by clicking on the first one I see half of the icons located on the desktop of the screen. When I click on the desktop other folder icon I see 2 other icons of the desktop folder. When I click on the folder icon, I see another icon of the desktop on each folder. By clicking on each one I see more desktop folder icons. And so on for a total of 9. I tried to remove the last of them who has a few icons of files and folders that are on the desktop of the screen. When I removed it the icons in the folder disappear from the desktop to the screen. I get a message that the path does not exist. I can go to the Recycle Bin and restore the folder and everything is ok except for all office files. How can I get rid of them and how are they there? Thank you everyone.

  • "Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library" error when you create a folder on desktop - why and how fix?

The past day or so I had trouble with .NET Framework 4 and conflict with TurboTax 2013 Installation. I thought that everything was fixed yesterday until I tried to create a folder on my desk this morning. The message is "this application has requested enforcement in an unusual way. Please contact the support team of the application for more information. ». "Windows Explorer has stopped working" then "Windows Explorer restarts". I started in safe mode and clean boot mode and has managed to create a folder on the desktop in two modes. I can also create a folder in the desktop folder when Windows Explorer is opened in mode Normal startup, but not since the bureau itself. Where should I go from here? I certainly don't want to start from scratch.

I still need a response to yesterday's post about the facilities 1 and 4.5.1 of the .NET Framework.

    Published:

I uninstalled TurboTax 2013 and rebooted. Installed Windows Update for Microsoft .NET 4.5.1 which replaced facilities .NET 4 in the menu programs and features and restarted. I still get the same error Visual C when you try to create a new folder on my desktop. I don't know if TurboTax will reinstall, but I want to get this first Visual C fixed problem.

    EDIT: Problem solved: (I hope)

I read in some Microsoft articles on uninstall the graphics drivers and reboot. I didn't remove the driver, so I rolled back the NVIDIA graphics driver for 314 311.06. ?? and restarted. I can now do a right-click on the desktop and create a folder without the error message. Also reinstalled TurboTax 2013 no hang ups or problems. Rebooted and everything seems to be ok.

(I was wondering if the fact that the NVIDIA Control Panel appears in the same box that when I right click to make a new case had nothing to do with the problem?)

  • LR5 creating unwanted files when importing

    Hello

first of all I would like to say that I have worked with LR for several years, began with LR3, now 5 and 4; so I would call myself a little lived with her, that's why this problem is driving me crazy! I just got a new computer, PC to imac and so installed the trial versions of LR and PS CC on my new iMac to get everything set up before upgrading to the cloud for the new system. On my old pc, I am running LR 4 and before had 3 and never had this problem before. I took a page that I will attach here. Basically, when I want to import photos from the camera or a card, I select the source, then copy, then the folder that I created on my hard drive, make sure that nothing else is selected if I want to change the name... and in the Destination area, it shows me with the selected images, it will create two new folders. I did not create these files, nor do I want them! Where did they come from? I can't remove them, and if I uncheck mark them all my photos selected will be also unchecked. So I guess there are program some that I'm missing, but for the life of me, I can't find and it drives me crazy! I double checked all my preferences many times. I even made sure that I ticked the box in the general tab - ignore the file names generated by the camera when you name files. What Miss me? I use the iMac with OS X Yosemite10.10.1 5K.
