  You can set an option to open jpeg and tiff in camera raw (preferences edit/camera raw).

  On a Mac, I don't know which directory it should be in.  To see what is there open Help / about plugins / camera raw in Photoshop, then check what version is displayed.  There should be only one.

• Bridge CS4 does not stop

  I had installed on my Windows 7 laptop PSCS4.  I try to install PSCS5, but BRCS4 does not stop.  Installation of CS5 also detects if opened.  The uninstaller detects also is also open.  I disabled the CS4, but BRCS4 is still as open dectected.  I have also shut down several times.  Does always BRCS4.

  I'm open to suggestions.

  Forgive me, but I'm new to Photoshop.  I just installed CS4 Extended and tried to charge toward the high bridge.  It freezes immediately. CTRL-ALT-DELETE will return me to Windows.  I checked the other posts and have done the following:

  Update video drivers

  CS4 11.0.1 update

  Bridge opened in CS4 - gel

  Bridge opened with pressed CTRL and reset - gel

  CS4 has worked without any problems.

  System Specs:

  Windows XP (Service Pack 3)

  Processor AMD Phenom 9950 Quad 2.6

  4 GB of Ram

  NVidia GeForce GTX 260

  Any ideas?

  And HERE! I was in the section Support Norton and noticed a task for Norton does not not with programs that access the internet.  The short list has not designated an Adobe product, so I downloaded the patch anyway.  AND IT WORKED! I don't know how or why, but the bridge starts without problem! I almost cried... lol! I will post this info on the main Board with the link to Norton for everyone!

Also have the same problem with bit defender. Called bit defender tried here the difficulty, but did not. Returns with updates failed us.   Hi, I shot a few photos December 31 night mode RAW Nikon D800 and extreme as well as Sandisk card SDHC 32 GB. Looks like the card got some errors of memory so not able to transfer the files from the card to the computer. However, I am able to view the photos through Lightroom ver 4.4 library, but when I tried to import them, it gives me an error message indicating this file cannot be read.

  Is it possible to save the photos to the "library window" in lightroom overcoming the card read errors?

  If you see the photos in the library module, the photos are already imported. If I there are thumbnails in the import dialog box, that means the jpg display embedded in the Raws are ok, although the raw data itself is corrupted.

  Lightroom CC does not detect my D610 Nikon when I try to attach to it. My computer sees the camera. I updated the firmware and tried the basic as steps by pressing the shutter button, power off and or reboot the computer/device photo/lightroom. Any help is appreciated.
