  Please make sure that Lightroom is far, i.e. Lightroom 5.7.1.

  Also, please copy the images from the card, and then paste them into a folder on the desktop and then try and import them into Lightroom.

  Got a monitor 15-HD to hdmi cable and a mac laptop (13 in the retina).

  So when I got all that I put it all together and it worked. • I7 X 220 does not detect MyDigitalSSD SandForce based msata

  I have a map of msata mydigitalssd that I just got and it is not detected in my laptop.  It's the smart series 256Go with sandforce controller.  the laptop is the model 4286cto with the i7 CPU and usb 3.0.  I worked with mydigitaldiscount and continues to work with them, but until I want to see if anyone else has had a similar problem or has any ideas.  I got so far with good interactions with them and their support.

  I updated and downgraded firmware of different times, 1.31 to 1.19 and I am currently on 1.28.  I did it because I know the X 220 with the i7 used to have problems with msata which has been fixed in bios 1.18.   the msata card has 2 led to this topic, both light up momentarily at the start, then one of them remains solid on blue after that.  The bios does not detect anything for this device.  If I'm going to start diagnosis screen it does not detect it, if I hit f12 for the Boot Manager I do not see the msata ssd.  If I go into windows Device Manager I don't see the ssd.  If I do an lspci under linux, that I do not see the ssd, if I do a fdisk - l, I see, not more than I see in the dmesg.

  MyDigitalDiscount was large and cross shipped a replacement for me right now, they got my old back and tested and said: it worked fine, a new shows exactly the same problem and they tested before shipment.

  I'm at the end of my rope here.  I'm thinking the ssd is not compatible with the laptop (port of the bios/msata), I have a slot msata hard or I'm half delayed and missing something completely obvious.

  I took a wwan card and plugged into the laptop of my worklaptop and it detected it and came as being on the black list (which is good that at least he detected something).  I know that's not final, mpcie work does not necessarily mean an msata work, but I think it's a good sign.

  I do it for a long time and I like to think I'm pretty good in this, however I've never used a map before msata and admit that I could be missing something, I don't know what.

  Hey everybody,

  Use of a high capacity card in a standard card reader location causes this problem. Im going to guess that the cards you ar having problems with are not standard SD cards and SDHC cards. As Naoto said, using a camera as a card reader you workaround this. You can also look in the adapters of SDHC card reader. Here is a good article on SDHC cards: http://goo.gl/lj5Fq
