  When you print graphics color cartridges are usually used to print even black and white.  In addition, when printing on the paper color photo is always used as the pigmented black ink cartridge is not compatible with the photo paper.

  Good so I scoured internet and I still have not found an answer to this question. All I'm trying to do is make one part of the image of color and the rest always black and white.   This is a very common technique, because it turns out, and there are tons of ways to get there.
