  I performed a clean installation for 10 windows on a ZBook 15 G2.  I installed the drivers from HP. The question is shortcut keys to change the brightness does not, however, all other functions of the key fine work.

• X120e Funtion keys brightness does not?

  I just got the x120e and I have been through the fixed auto-éclaircissant himself. After that, I hit the Fn + Home and adjusted to my preference. He was not on the charger when I did so I was in a dark room I had the brightness down. Later in the day, I plugged it in to charge and I went to make it brighter. The brightness does not change however. All other agents Fn + F keys work. But not both for brightness. The strange thing is, I shut down the computer, whereas standby mode, then opens it again and it was really brilliant and I had to almost squint, but once again the keys did not work to lower it. I closed it and opened it and it is even lower. The keys still don't work. Any suggestions?

  You get a pop-up window or dialog style without menu or the toolbar either? In this case:

  38 of Firefox has a little problem with this combination of circumstances:

  (1) turned off tabbed browsing
  (2) viewing a page in a private window
  (3) you click on a link encoded with target = "_blank", which launches the link in a new window

  The new window opens without menus, toolbar, scroll bars, etc.

  Work on this bug is in progress, but I don't know if the fix will be available in the coming weeks. These are the known workarounds so you can continue using windows browsing private - one of them will work around the bug:

  (1) use tabbed browsing (there is a checkbox in Options > general > "Open new windows in a new tab instead");

  Some power management features do not work after a bios update (5.90).
  The display brightness can be changed in the power manager, or the top menu system. In the power manager, the cursor can be moved, but the brightness is not set. Toshiba menu system appears to hang on trying to change the brightness with F6 - F7 and won't move the cursor.

  In addition, the screen does not turn off after the set amount of minutes in the power manager.

  What is going on? How can this be repaired?

  Some questions; Why you have updated the BIOS?
  Are you sure you used the right BIOS?

  In my opinion you shouldn't t to update anything if the laptop works properly!

  However, try to access the BIOS, set the default settings and save the settings before exiting the BIOS.
  If this does not help, I would pick up the laptop with the Toshiba Recovery CD.

  The most likely cause of this problem is that the songs have not been downloaded or transferred to iTunes for your 5s.

  It seems that two things must happen... Three if you don't have good backups (it would be the first thing * if * you have not any outside of the machine.)

  (1) the material must be tested.  By restarting and pressing the combination of keys at the right time could test the hard/readers/speed control (CTRL + ALT + D, on a dell computer before starting at startup of Windows.)  For other tests - Dell probably put on a partition or sent a CD with the machine that allows you to perform a battery of tests on the... video, audio equipment, etc.

  (2) a restoration clean install a factory should probably be made * if * hardware testing are in agreement.  You could probably clean the machine by following the steps I'll give you - but knowing no more about the problem that we are so far... If that does not better... it's perception, or something so serious, that a clean install is probably the only real 'next step '.

  (And if the new facility does not solve it and analysis of material found nothing - that's the perception, or something (material) defective which is not be picked up).

  Search for malware:

  Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

  • MalwareBytes (FREE)
  • SuperAntiSpyware (FREE)

  Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

  Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

  The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

  Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know usingGoogle (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

  You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory. This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

  Hello - I bought a M201dw Pro Laserjet is approximately 3 months.  I just change the original cartridge as an idea of how much/little it has been used. It has worked well for 3 months but started printing very slowly, or not at all with in the last few days.  It is not a network printer, it is directly connected to my PC.

  Try going into the service of the printer menu and changing the USB high speed to full

  The printer will restart and will have the best speed for the connection

  I think I know what it is and how to fix it. You must enter in the power of your plan Options. Search for "Change advanced power settings" and click on that. Display is near the bottom of the list. Click on that and look for 'enable adaptive brightness '. That set Off and your problem is solved.
