Brochure printing, printing of multiple signatures

Hi all!

I use Acrobat 9 and MP198 printer to print a manual of the game. The manual is about 13 MB in size, with 45 pages.  I would like to print the manual in format brochure on legal size paper, but instead of multiple sheets by signature, I would print 1 single sheet (4 pages) by signature so that I can just paste instead of the usual couture.

1. is it possible to print more than one signature at a time?  For example, to print pages 1-4, 5-8, 9-12.  My experience with this is that it prints pages 1-12, resulting in a signature of 3 sheets instead of 3 leaf signatures.  Now, I have to specify 4 pages per print job so that each sheet singature is printed separately from the rest.

2. looking at my queue of print screen, I noticed that each signature is 160-220 MB in size, for only 4 pages.  Accordingly, I have to wait for each signature to finish before printing the following or the printer and the PC slows to a crawl.  No idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

My computer is an old Athlon clocked at 1.8 GHz with 512 MB DDR RAM, if that helps anything.

Thank you!

Should I work on an application with a partner, we share the same signature keys? Or if two keys can be associated with an application?

I asked this before @BlackBerryDev and it was the answer I received: "every developer should have their own keys. "Memoirs App World should ideally use a separate key only for this purpose ^ RS.

    But...

    1. How can I manage multiple signature keys on my dev environment? If I have my own personal touches, but want to use separate to sign the application for presentation, how can I do?

    2. If my partner never test code on a simulator (with a token of debugging) without a signature key, should they even just get a key?

You can activate the keys as needed. Just make backups of these two keys (window-> Preferences-> BlackBerry-> signature click backup key), and you can switch them in restoring the desired key. In addition, make two developer certificates and switch if necessary by clicking on the Select Certificate button. Keep in mind, when you select wanted key, you must delete any form of chips listed to debug another developer, because sometimes the IDE get confused and sign app with info from another token of developer debugging if it exists.

  • Printing of multiple numbers of document/picture on a single page

I have a separate document for each week of the year, each document has a worksheet in it. I would like to print the worksheets in each document, but want to put more than one of them on a page. Is this possible? So far, I can only print each individual worksheet... Thanks for the tips!

    Hi pmgw,

I don't know any way to print a table of two separate documents on a single page in a single step. There are several ways to do this using multiple steps.

    1. You can configure individual documents so that the tables you want to place on the printed page even alternate position on their leaves, 1 week at the top, 2 bottom, week 3 on top, etc.
Two consecutive weeks can then be printed on a single page by printing the first, reinserting the page into the printer using the same orientation *, then print the second.
    2. Open the documents numbers during the two weeks that you want to print.
In the second, select the table to print. Copy.
Switch to the first. Click on an empty space on the map. Dough.
Drag the table glued in position. Print.
(optional) Select the pasted table and press DELETE.
    3. Open a document of 'Blank canvas' pages.
Open documents from figures for the two weeks that you want to print.
Copy and paste the table of each document numbers in the Pages of the document.
      Print.

    Notes:

Second printing works - Orientation: the best way to ensure that the document is oriented the same for the two rounds is to place a light pencil mark near the center of the edge of the paper closest to you when it is in the tray. After the first run, replace the paper in the tray with the pencil mark in the same position. U

Table selection: to select an entire table, you can place the mouse pointer on an outer border of the table. When the pointer icon changes to a line crossed by a two-headed arrow, click to select the entire table. Or click the table icon in the sidebar (Numbers ' 09). None of these methods to select a table to move or copy.

Or (once) click any cell in the table, and then press command + A to select all. Use this method to copy the contents of the table. When glued, the result is the same as copy and paste by using the first two methods.

The use of the Pages: the advantage of paste tables into Pages is an easier control of the appearance of the printed page. If you do this often, I would say adding guides to layout of the document Pages indicating where to place both calendars, and then deleting the calendars (leaving the guides) and save the document as a template.

  • Printing of multiple copies of photos

Let me my old printer to print multiple copies of the same photo on A4 paper picture so you can maximize the use of photo paper and just choose if you wanted to format Passport x however many, 5 x 7 x 3, etc.   On my current HP printer photosmart 410, I can only print 4 x 6 pictures - he will not even extend to 5 X 7 photo of the photo tray paper size.

I can now print on A4 who downloaded Irganview (tip of this forum - thank you).  But I cannot print multiple copies of the picture on A4 photo paper or get the printer to recognize the biggest paper in the 4 x 6 photo tray.  I changed the settings of the printer more than once - it makes no difference.  Any help gratefully received!

    Hi Caro03,

I understand that you want to be able to print multiple photos on one page. Usually this feature is part of a photo program. The HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-all-in-one printer - C410 has the HP Photo Creations software included with the download. Once you have scanned your photo in the program, you should get the option to put as much on one page as you want.

I hope this information helps, let me know.

  • OfficeJet 8610, 2 faces of bright brochure printing problem

On my Officejet pro 8610 with brilliant for HP Brochure paper, I used the automatic printing function 2 faces to print color brochures.  Every attempt, the rollers in the printer's vertical on the front lines, as he was pulled back into the printer.  This is almost certainly due to inadequate drying time between the first and second parts printing.  When the 2 sides is done manually and allow enough dry time, the rollers don't cause streaks.  This problem didn't happen if plain paper or matte Brochure paper was used.  I tried with a HP Officejet 8620 and my 8610 with the same problem.   Is there a way to increase the drying time for glossy paper or any other problem?

    Hello

It is not possible, although the duplexer is not intended for this side of paper and making such damage most probably the duplex accessory rolls.

Please check paper output specifications > paper section capacity tray of the printer dpecifications below, the duplexer is intended only for 60 to 105 g/m2 paper. :

  • Brochure printed in CMYK seems always bad

so... If using 'export' and convert an RGB to CMYK image using the available export settings it seems perfect... but this will create a PDF file on 4 pages instead of 2 pages divided into half the way I created the layout.

So if I use print booklet that preserves the split layout... impression (creating a PDF) works very well if the parameters are RGB... I have two pages split and fitted correctly with appropriate colors.

Now here is where it gets complicated...

If I use print booklet with parameters CMYK booklet fate more saturated and pixelated.

So I need to convert the images to not trying to print a booklet with images RGB and CMYK right... not the case.

Even when you use photoshop to convert to CMYK, even if I leave the image faded, as conversion to CMYK often is the case, the output of Indesign when using "print booklet" produces a more saturated and result pixelated.   I even put an RGB image next to the same picture converted to CMYK and production, they become almost indistinguishable. So why export works adequately but not to preserve the layout and print brochure preserve the layout page but mess colors in CMYK?

Hard to say without knowing your settings distill.

  • Why print PDF with signature a block behind the signature box?

I received a PDF file with an electronic signature placed on a signature line image. It seems, when you view the document in Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Pro and preview printing even seems OK. When I send the document to a PictBridge compatible printer, it puts the signature image on a black box instead of a transparent box. I tried printing to a monochrome vs. color printer, tried with and without the option "print in grayscale", attempt to print Document only, Document and annotations and Document and stamps. I don't know what else to watch or what parameters are related to how a signature will print. The document is safe, so I cannot change the properties of the signature or the PDF file.

    Hi joshc81577761,

Please try to check with the option "Print as image".

Also cocher check with the different document, try checking with printers different (Drivers day).

Check with the name with the name of the application by means of which the document was created.

Also, try to re-create a document with the same properties & try to print the document to reproduce the problem.

    Kind regards

  • Brochure printing does not print all pages

I have a file booklet that I printed from InDesign, a couple of months without problem. I went to print this week and the last pages 2 and 3 are not printing. I tried with a version of the file created by someone else. Same problem - last pages 2-3 didn't print. I tried to print to another printer, print from another computer. I always get the same result - the last 2-3 pages do not print. This happened to someone else? Anyone know what I can do about it?

    Thank you

    Tery

    An alternative:

    1. One of the manufacture of booklet scripts * for InDesign, allows to create a new InDesign doc "double width" properly imposed in the order of the brochure.
    2. Print the new Doc, or export it to PDF.

    * See, for example, the free script to the "http://sterlingcomputing.com/make-booklet-2016.html". (I am the author).

  • Image on the back and the front pages in the brochure printing

    Hello.

    I have a riddle.

I want to have an image that extends over the back and the first page of a document, which will be finally printed booklet style.

I am struggling to get this just so if I put in place with gaps, i.e., I'll have to place the image twice and try and guess the marriage of the central point.

Or I can allow pages Shuffle which allows then to me the last page in the front of the first page to allow me to place the images on the area, but then it live to the printing of the brochure.

    Any advice?

Or you caan place once and place them correctly on the page or the police back, then copy and paste them in place on the other and they will be perfectly matched.

I went into the preparation of the document, the icon at the bottom of the menu of pages that allows you to edit the size of the page, change the size of the same master page try and apply master to pages. None of this removes the error message when you try to print the booklet. If possible please help me.

  • Printing on multiple pages

I have an Officejet 6500 has MORE

Today off the blus that he decided to break something, I am trying to print and disperse the on 7 pages.  Understsnd I an\m not print only one page, but small sections wll printed on 7 different cards.  It's the first time that this has already happened.  Up until now, the printer worked perfectly.

    Bob.

    Hey Bob,

I see that you have a problem where a single page of information spreads through 7 pages of output.  Is this correct?

How is the printer connected? (USB, ethernet, wireless)

What is the operating system of the computer connected to the Officejet 6500 has more?

Have you tried restarting the PC and power cycling the 6500 has?

    * I would like to test the hardware of the printer first.  To do:

    1. print a printer status report

    • Tap the arrow on the right while on the home screen of the 6500 a Plus

    • Press the menu button Setup

    • Scroll through the list and select reports

    • Select the printer status report in the list and prints the report

2 assess the printed page.  If the page is acceptable, then place it on the flat glass and make a copy.

    3. does the copied page match the original print of the printer status report?

If both are acceptable, then the printer hardware works as expected.  At this point the issue arises from the connection or the PC software.
