  Hello. I read the instructions in icons and lines logo web site guidelines | Adobe but it is not clear to me if I can use the adobe pdf icon in our projects. I would like to add the pdf icon in the Panel Administrator of our websites we will rent to various clients and show when the user downloads pdf files. Thus, to download, we want to show files that will be downloaded using the icon pdf with the name of the file under the icon.   The first line shows the main stipulation of use. The icon should only be used to indicate the existence of an active link to a pdf file.  If nothing associated (next to) the icon that links a pdf file such as the pdf file open when the user clicks on the link and then the image cannot be used.  I don't think that your description meets this criterion, unless you provide links to open the files with these images.

• The scrolling has been weird bar type doesn't appear on the Web sites and is not allowing me to scroll properly.

  For some reason any bar type appears on Web sites and is not allowing me to use scrolling properly the top and bottom of the page. It is present at each Web site. However, when I switched to another browser it can't.

  Hey gregorpinney,

  It's actually very easy to do. All you have to do is to go to the Web page you want to bookmark. Click the icon of the site on the left side of the URL, and then drag the icon on your desktop.

  It is probably easier to see it done, then you should look at the article create a shortcut on the desktop to a Web site.

  I'm working on my first Flash project and I hit a wall, I can't skin on the Flash Player to appear on the site.  I read all the posts of the Forum and tried all suggections nothing helps.  The video plays fine on the site, but not the skin.  Here is the relevant information, please help!

  You imported the FLVPlayer component in your film? If you did, you have not selected one that is supposed to rest on the video or surround the video? You set the size of the component to be large enough to show around the video player?

• Connection link does not appear on a Web site

  I am running Win7pro and 35 of Firefox.
  I am able to access the history channel- History.comsite, but the 'full video access' link. 'Full video access' is a link to connect you with your particular TV provider that allows you to watch all the episodes available. I've confirmed that Flash is active and up to date. I confirmed that Java is active and up to date. I've deleted all the history, cache and cookies. Third-party cookies are allowed. History.com is not listed as an exception. I also deleted the cookies.sqlite in my profile. The connection link still does not appear.
  Other information - I am able to access this Web site, including the 'video full access' link on my other computer Win7 using Firefox 35.
  History.com support tells me that the problem is on my computer not on their Web site.
  Can anyone suggest what could be the problem?

  To avoid any misunderstanding, Firefox is not a 'search engine', nor Firefox has its own search engine - its strictly a web browser. If you do a search in the address bar, the search engine that is selected in the search bar is used.

  In addition to the cookies and cache, as phillip mentioned, if you have a Google + or account Gmail are logged in Google when that happens?

  You mean a new tab (Ctrl + t) and not a new window (Ctrl + n), right? You should be able to change this in Firefox on: preferences of configuration editor. Please note that add-ons can replace it, so if your change is taken into account, you should review your add-ons (extensions, including).

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the filter box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) double-click the preference browser.newtab.url and enter the desired value:

• I.e. pages do not appear entirely the icons and colors. Web site MS watch blue header and my white laptop lounge. Other problems are the objects are hidden.

  Pages are only 80% finished. Boxes, icons, logos, colors etc. are not displayed. Drivers have been updated in this dell laptop running XP Media. Just seems like IE is corrupt or something. Offline has no problem for all programs running only online. Miss me things on several sites, and do not even know what he or she is.

  If the laptop is next to my XP desktop I can compare and confirm all of this. I tried several fixes and adjustments. It my be a screen resolution setting, but played with this also nothing helped. No of the topics Windows actually correspond to this issue.

  Try to reset and restore your settings of internet explorer, close Internet explorer, click Start-> settings-> Control Panel-> Internet Options-> Advanced-> click on restore advanced settings and reset (Tickmark remove personal...).

  Also try to delete your browser history.

• PNG and JPG of PS 2015 does not appear on a Web site

  • Photoshop CC 2015, newly installed this week, without Add-ons, plug-ins or customization of any kind.  I have CS5.
  • Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, fully patched
  • Tried browsers: Chrome (v44.0.2403.89 m), Firefox (v39.0), Internet Explorer (v11.0.9600.17914IS)

  If I save a PNG or JPG image, it will appear not on a local website (http://localhost/...).  The image shows a broken link.  I tried save as, export - export as Quick Export in PNG and even export - save for Web (Legacy), same results with all.  Export GIF works very well.

  I took a PNG created with CS5 another folder and it shows on this same web page successfully.  I then opened that PNG in 2015 of Photoshop and exported in PNG (overwriting the original) and it shows a broken link.

  If I find this same image in Windows Explorer as an overview, it seems.  I can open it in any browser using the physical address (C:\...myimage. (PNG), but not if it's in a Web page.

  What is going on??  This basically makes Photoshop 2015 completely useless for me.

  The fixed.  PERMISSIONS!  When you save the first image for this project, I created a subfolder using the PS 2015 save as dialog box.  For some reason, the new folder is not to keep the permissions of the parent folder, so nothing in this new folder appears.

  Hope this helps someone as stupid as me.  :-)
