Browser of network (over ip addresses)

Does anyone know of a network browser Android who don't use ip addresses but can actually determine and work with host names. For most people, their networks have a DHCP server so the IP addresses are assigned dynamically, an ip address is not only obscure but will change with time.

It is a common problem of Linux but Nautilus on Ubuntu Linux handles quite well. Linux command nmblookup can retrieve an ip address of a host name. Is there an application better than AndroXplorer or ES File Explorer ?

Even for lending money?

    Hello

I searched on the Microsoft Web site to some proposals of solution and found this:
Unable to browse the network"when you click Network Neighborhood
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/260214

This problem may occur if there is a key to logon automatically in the registry at the following location:

It seems that you can solve this problem by deleting the registry location AutoLogon value listed in the section "Cause".

  • FLEX - localhost began to appear in the browser but Network Monitor says otherwise

    Hello

Today, I ran my FLEX application in FireFox and noticed that he was showing "transfer data to localhost...". "at the bottom of the browser. Originally, it would show my IP server, not localhost.

I watched the network monitor and check that network traffic is NOT localhost, but my server IP address.

Here are the screenshots to prove that I am only partially crazy! :

    localhost---problem.png

    ↑ This is the problem...

    localhost---problem-networkmonitor.png

^ Network Monitor shows that it hits the correct server IP here...

This, everyone knows or knows why this is happening?

I dug into the parameters of the project file and looked for localhost but couldn't find it anywhere. Not sure where that would be defined?

I'm trying to clean up Firefox, which I think could be my problem, , but was curious to know if anyone has had their start of sudden app FLEX showing localhost calls in the browser status bar?

    Hi Devtron

I bet that Flash Builder Network Monitor works exactly like charles webdebugger.

What it does is to set up a proxy on localhost and game to configure the proxy server to your system, so all the traffic on your network goes on the proxy, and then the proxy is the inspection of data network. Then it would make sense that your browser displays localhost because data are extracted through this proxy.

    Best regards

  • Cannot change network over the VPN connection components

    Hi all

I set up a VPN in windows XP Service Pack 3 with all latest updates.  When I display the properties of the VPN connection, there is a tab labeled "Networking".  When I click on the tab networking that I get an error message pop up that says: "Unable to allow the editing of networkingcomponents at the moment because they are being modified elsewhere."  I restarted and also tried to search and stop the services dealing with virtual private networks, etc. nothing works.

Can someone help me troubleshoot or identify what prevents me to change my network layout tab?  There is virtually no information on the internet addressing it.

    Thanks in advance!

  • network security IP address problem

I have a home secure wireless network, lately I get an error message that my IP address has been used by another computer on my network even when my other computer is not in use, it seems as if someone logging on my network and sharing my IP without knowing me is there any software for network access Protection that would allow me to monitor my network also how do you secure my IP address I use a vista software and my firewall is always turned on.  Essentials windows also display the State of my computer is protected.

I see that sometimes on my wireless network.  I think it unlikely that someone breaks in your network.  It is more likely that your wireless router is getting confused.

If this happens again, restart your router by unplugging the power supply for a few seconds, then in him plugging wireless.  This should solve the problem.  You can see the list of the router DHCP clients to see what computers are connected. Owner, Boulder computer Maven

  • WAP11 - no assinged network using WEP address

My 2.6 WAP11 connection (Internet) very well if WEP is not defined.  If WEP is defined, then I always get "limited or no connectivity" because "the network has not assigned a network address" even if a connection to the WAP11 is made.

I use the WAP11 in normal AP mode with all default IP addresses.  There is another wireless access point in the network using a device of BlackBox, but I don't mean to bind or to fill these devices.  I tried matching the parameters of the black box and using the discrete parameters (WEP) for the unity of Linksys, but the result is the same "no connectivity" with the WAP11.

Suggestions for helping you connect using the WEP would be appreciated.

    Ray

So, if I'm not mistaken, your WAP is set up in AP mode and wired to the router and it does not work when you are not using security...?

If so, check the security key on the WAP. As you use WEP, use Key1 as the security, not the password key. In addition, make sure that you type the correct security key, it is case sensitive.

  • All stuck in 169.254.106.192 network adapters IP address help!

    Hello

I tried everything to fix this.

First of all it is just the wireless card for my laptop that got the question, so I went to an Ethernet directly between a router and that possessed the same auto config ip. Then, I used my tp link TL-WN722N usb wireless adapter and it worked fine until today. Wi - Fi points are not stored in manage wireless networks since I can't access Internet and sometimes I can't even connect to them. Those can connect to stay in the "unidentified network". First I tried to manually release and renew the ip address in the cmd with no luck, it is said that it is impossible given that the media is disconnected or a timeout error when the survivor crashes just there for a few minutes. I am 100% positive, that this is a problem with the computer and not the access points as I traveled the past few days and it worked very well the first days of my trip. First, when this happened, I let windows troubleshoot it and automatically, he knew that there was an invalid ip configuration and fixed it himself. Now he recognizes that it is the same problem, but "has not set" next to him and don't let not the dhcp on the network assign the ip address. I tried manually as well as on all NICs IPv4 static addresses and nothing works. I think that it is the cause of a new update of windows... I am running windows 7 Enterprise on a dell latitude e6400.

I just need to reset the IP address and it keeps auto configuration EVEN when it is connected to a network. It drives me crazy. Help, please

IP address with 169.254.xxx.xxx means that the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) delivery is affected. The DHCP server to allocate IP address to computers, to the local IP in your case.

There are three chances for the problem to occur:

1 wired AutoConfig (for wired connectivity) or autoconfiguration WLAN (for wireless connectivity) service is not running.

    2. bad network resources on the network configuration.

    3 cable bad network.

    Solutions:

    1. the following link will be very useful to start the Wired AutoConfig service (find the WLAN auto configuration service in the same list and repeat the process involved in from depending on the link):

    http://computerstepbystep.com/wired_autoconfig_service.html

    2. the following link will be useful by resetting the TCP/IP settings. Make sure that the options are set to automatic:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/change-TCP-IP-settings#1TC=Windows-7

    3. check with another ethernet/network cable. In addition, check the power cable in some other computer for the work of the cable. Try to replace the cable, then check.

  • 'redirect' a browser to a different IP address.

How this is done? A good example is many audiences Wireless Hot Spot is to acquire an address IP and then launch your browser. Regardless of your start page, the browser goes to the supplier Web page to connect, registration or other. This is done via software or hardware?

    Thank you

    Diego

They use the authentication proxy server to force authentication. Once you get the ip address and launch the browser, home page request is intercepted by the router/firewall in the middle and the user is obligated to a web page for approval.

  • If I replace my 32-bit Windows 7 with a 64-bit version, can I still keep my old files, settings of the domain network and mac address?

We bought the RAM for one of our PC, an upgrade from 4 GB to 8 GB. Naturally, we must now upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Our PC is running on a domain within a university network network. We have experienced some problems with one of our PC recently, so I reinstalled Windows 32 bit (no formatting). After which I simply installed the motherboard network drivers, and with one or two small parameters we were back on the domain network. Previous data has been saved to the Windows.old folder, so we kept all our old data and re-installing Windows fixed all the problems we had.

It is therefore clear that a reinstallation of 32-bit retains all the necessary parameters to return immediately to the domain network. My question is, will an upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit also keep the settings? Apparently, the essential is that the MAC address must remain the same, which I suppose it would be?

I'm not so worried about the data, let's back up on an external drive anyway. The main concern is the connectivity of the network domain. If we lose this connection after the Windows Installation, you pay the University of departmental again it to the installation program.

If you go from 32-bit to 64-bit Windows, you must perform a cleanup
