• Police will not change when you choose to search for a font

  Hello. I'm on a MBP with InDesign CC.

  I opened a document that uses Frutiger 57 condensed. The original file used the same font, but the name of different fonts, e.g. "Frutiger 57Cond.

  I thought that the problem would be in one of the styles, since there is no character styles, I went to paragraph and changed styles police for Frutiger 57 condensed from the Frutiger 57Cond, but that did not help. Frutiger 57 condensed is installed on my system, that's why I made this change.

  Under find fonts Frutiger 57 condensed is selected, but when I click on the first series of text that uses it, it will not change the police. If I choose all the changes, nothing happens.

  I tried to copy and paste everything into a new document and preflight gave me the green light, but when I have opened the folder, I got 61 errors yet. I thought I'd try!

  When I open a new document and start typing in this font, everything seems fine. There are several InDesign documents that use this font that also do not have the problem.

  No idea as to why this particular document send me questions of police? Please let me know if there is something I can check

  Looks like you have some fonts in a folder of fonts in the document.

• IE 8 on Windows XP: Favorites do not appear when you type in the address bar.

  I can't my favorites appear in the address bar when I type in.  I have removed/disabled all the parameters 'InPrivate', my 'Securty level for this zone"is set to"Low ".  I "restored the advanced settings.  I deleted all cookies, temporary files, history, etc.  Also, I tried to update my registry and that does not work either.  I reinstalled IE8 and it does not work.  I also ran a 'fix' and who does not.

  Can anyone provide a viable solution?  Also, please don't refer to another thread.  Just put the answer in this thread.  It would be much appreciated.

  My only thought is to reset Internet Explorer...

  Tools. Internet Options > Advanced tab > reset > reset Internet Explorer settings > click on Reset

  IE close and reopen, and see what happens.

  My last thought would be have you started something new installed on your computer for this?

• Why a strange alphabet does not appear when I type in an address box. Integration is slow and hesitant and numbers and letters are often repeated on their own?

  I use the new Sierra, but the problem predates this.

  Whenever I am typing a command or an address, a strange alphabet appears with blue letters and numbers below. The stalls, insertion and numbers and letters and then repeat on their own. I can't get out.

  This problem comes and goes, no real reason for when it happens.

  It happens when I type in the Web addresses, etc., and when I type the commands of the operating system.

  Can you give more information on mac hardware.

  OK so this problem started about two days ago. I noticed that my time was off so I went to settings > General > Date and time. I changed the hour correctly but when I locked it and got out of her for a few minutes, it was always the same when I changed it. • Updated to the new Photoshop CC 2015: work plan and the background are both white I can't see any outline. Will not change when I try to get a different background color.

  This seems almost elementary but I tried everything literally, the only thing I can think is that this is a bug.

  When I'm working on work plans, they are white and the background is white, so I don't quite see the outline. I tried to change the background color to dark gray or any other color, but nothing works. I restarted my computer, the software, everything. Nothing works. It only happens to me, everyone in my company isn't the problem. We checked out the contrast on my computer and it's all good. I had two different designers tinker around with it and they say it must be a bug because they have tried everything they can and I also.

  Now I simply add a grey box dark to my work plans so I can see the sketch, but it's really annoying, I have to do, especially since I work with Photoshop 4 hours per day.

  You must set your GPU options in preferences to something other than "Bacic."

  Initially, I worked for InDesign and copied all H, RGB and CMYK values that I had when I went in an eye my original color palette.

  However when I put the same values of RGB in Photoshop I gives me a (somewhat) a different set of CMYK numbers than I had initially documented in InDesign.

  CMYK is essential for a company's brand guide. The printer ask again, it's a simple and direct question. If they cannot answer this fundamental question, that speaks well of their professional standards. It is a common practice and highly standard procedure. • Why the Home Menu will not display when setting up my new BDP S5100?

  I'm trying to get a new BDP-S5100 connected to my tv (a 4-year-old Panasonic plasma HDTV).  The TV can read it is connected to a Sony Blu - Ray device, but will Dim while the player says 'Home'  Pressing 'Home' on the remote control DVD displays nothing.  The remote control seems to work very well for turning on and off and will load and play a disc but no image on the screen.

  The cable seems fine.  After several versions of "turn it on again", including disconnect them the HDMI cable and power sources in orders different, still no go.  We just reconnected the older Blu - Ray player and it works fine.

  Any ideas?

  Please check if you face the same problem when recording in safe mode. It is a possibility that one of the non-Microsoft application or driver is causing this issue.
   
  Step 1.
  a. restart your computer.
  b. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows 7 Advanced Startup Options.
  c. using the arrow keys, select the desired option of Mode without failure.
  d. press the Enter key on your keyboard to start in safe mode of Windows 7.
  e. when Windows starts, you will be at a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Windows 7 goes into safe mode.
  f. do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.
   
  Step 2.
  If it works fine in safe mode try performing a clean boot in order to find the cause root.

• PS5 will not change the date registration

  PS5 will not change the date when I save a document I'm working. I tried save as and save and it keeps the date of the photo, in this case, a scanned image that swept the 09/07/11 @ 15:49. I saved many iterations of the PhotoShop photo and the date remains the same. I tried it with other photos and even once, it retains the original date. If I open in AI5 and save it, he recorded with the current date. Am I missing something here?

  Chances are Windows found the folder a folder "photo", and explore does NOT show you the date of the modified file.

  Personally, I hate having "automatically" selected multiple views for me, and I tweaked my copy of Windows so that it always shows me the "General items" view all records, be they full of photos or music or something else.

  You can check this by clicking on the name of the folder in the Navigation of Explorer (left), and then selecting Properties.  On the Customize tab, see what it says in the "optimize this folder for:"selector. ".  If it is different from the general items, change it to general Articles.  This gets you a good "Date Modified" column, indicating the date of the file.

  If you want to make a permanent change to Windows 7 (so all new folders are displayed in the form of General items in the folders, and automatic display selection is disabled), a value can be added to (or changed in) the registry as follows:

  Registry key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags\AllFolders\Shell]

  My Toshiba L50 - B won't start when the battery is fully drained but connected to the power outlet.
  I try to work most of the time on the battery to keep the battery in good shape, but when I forgot to turn off the battery drains and the system will not start when I plug in the adapter.

  The battery charge indicator is orange light as it should. Only when the battery is fully charged to 100%, it will run at startup and function normally after that. I tried to turn on the laptop several times during the charge cycle, but only when the charge indicator changes from yellow to white it starts. Tested for 2 bodies.

  My old Toshiba always immediately turned on when I plugged the adapter even when the battery has been completely drained. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

  The laptop should light up if the power adapter is plugged in and power the laptop corectly any if the battery is empty or during charge.

  Please check the version of the BIOS that is available on your mobile phone and compare with the BIOS available on the page of the Toshiba UE driver
  Maybe you need to update the BIOS, but to be honest, the history seems really odd to me and I m afraid that there could be some power supply electronic problem
