Browsing by Album

There is a bug in the firmware when you scroll by album, there is a delay of 2 seconds.  I noticed in the firmware previous everyone has noticed this bug. Please answer

If you enable the 'album art in the lists' feature and you have large album art that it can really slow down navigation.  Try turning it off in the settings menu.

I have UN Justice album that contains 2 pieces (Randy and Safe & Sound). Besides, when I display albums rated from my library, the 2 pieces are on the same album.

How can I gather the 2 pieces so that they are on the same album of the same artist when I line my library by artists have?

  • Slow to download photos to share album

I created a photo album of 75 photos.

Then, I chose to share this album to the iCloud as a shared library. I see that the library is created under 'shared' BUT zero photos are in. Do not #1.

Then I used the option 'Add photos or videos from the album' him, but obviously I'm not presented with the option to browse my albums, only 'Favorites', 'selected' or all my 'photos' in the library organized by date. I just want to add the photos in that album in particular. Do not #2.

So I try manually drag / drop the photos to the Album in the shared album. I chose 20, drag show to them and only 10 in the shared library. I have try this new, still only 10. It actually says "sharing 20 items" and yet... only 10 show at the library. Do not #3.

I keep on dragging him to, see maybe 1 or some added thought I can keep track of those who have been added as the album accepts duplicates, so now I have duplicates in there. Do not #4.

I try smoking pictures and re launch. I see that I have now 30 photos in my shared library. But those who I still left in the Album to drag on? I don't have no idea. Do not #5.

After that about 25 minute son it refreshing my public album part several times as well to see everything changes, suddenly... I see more pix in the shared library. How many? 215. Well Yes. All my drag and drop, adding via the option of sharing and adding via the library shared just caught up between them and updated the library at a time. FINAL FAILURE.

What gives? Why is an album if SLOW to be updated with the pic I have add in there? Help!

  • Not showing in the artists Split album

    10.11.5 OSX iTunes 12.4.1.6

I imported the 4 songs from the same artist/album in iTunes. They are listed under recently added under a single album called something like Unknown Album. I selected all the 4 songs and clicked on to read information. I changed the artist and the artist of the album in his own name. I changed the album under his own name. I selected the right kind and added to the year. I filled that there are 4 tracks of the album, filled in that it was the CD 1 of 1 and has not checked all the boxes. I added album work and clicked OK.

Recently added, all the 4 songs now show with the right information. I then went in and read the information on each piece individually and entered the appropriate track number and click OK.

The album shows as expected under recently added, Albums and Genres. However, when I look at the album under artists, the artist is here 4 times, all showing the same album, with 1 song under each heading. When I look at the first entry, it shows 1 song that bears the number "1". The second album shows 1 entry that has the number '2' and so on.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Hello

I have an annoying feature (12.4.3.1 on iTunes on a Mac), that some artists to artist only, we show more than once, and occasional songs are also divided the correct view, to 'Artists' only - perfectly fine for the Album, for example. In addition, the problem is not repeated on my iPhone after sync.

  • Duplicate the artist that don't WILL NOT disappear please help!

Everything is identical on both sides, news-wise, I went through all the fields all fields sort everything.

I even tried to change the name of the artist to something different, then change back, nothing has changed.

The only difference that I could find is now in the general tab to get information from the artists themselves:

The left is as "should be", because all the other artists who do not have duplicates have this info.

While the right, which I think is 'the double', has in this field which does not reflect the artist.

But I continue to change, and it goes back to joint... by himself! What on earth I'm doing wrong?

What is the problem? How do I actually CHANGE? Thank you!

    Hello applewarm,

I see in your post that you have an artist showing twice in iTunes, and you want to have all of this artist put together. I like to keep things neat and organized myself, so I can understand why you want to get this sorted out.

As a first step, try to edit the field artist album "Hardcore Superstar" for both groups and see if it unifies the artist. If this isn't the case, I recommend to check this article to see if there are measures that you have not tried here:

  • iTunes 12.4 - various misfortunes of Compilation of artist (s)

Discovered an interesting 'oddity' when you scroll my iTunes music section today. I am an avid collector of now that's what I call music compilations (do it for completeness sake these days...) and I spotted 2 albums weren't in the Compilations section in the 'Album view' (39 and 58, for those who are interested).

I'm pretty meticulous with my albums, so I checked the following:

    1. is the compilation area checked on all the songs on the album? Yes

    2. is the same for all the songs from the album the artist album? Yes (Various Artists, btw)

    3. is the album stored in the folder of compilations on the hard drive? Yes

4 are the same for all the songs, i.e. the default values the sorting information? Yes

5 songs are in the same format (AAC) as the rest of the library? Yes

6 is equivalent to the cover of the album? Yes (this is where I started to clutch at straws)

Then, I tried several different things:

1 remove the songs from iTunes, but not the location of the hard drive. Result - no change

2 remove the songs from iTunes and the location of the hard drive (the trash reloaded). Result - no change

3 saved the files to another location, and then deleted from the original location. Result - no change

4 change "Various Artists" in the box of the Album artist to "various artist". Result - moved to the correct location...

    5. change one song of "Various Artist", back to "Various Artists". Result - start the wrong position...

Does anyone have an idea why this is happening and how to fix it permanently? My neuroses can not handle to scroll to the song and see this little wobble between "Various Artists" and "Various artist" on 2 places along a section of Compilations otherwise Immaculate

  • I can't find my imported photos

    Hello

I use only my iMac for about six months, but during this period have added several thousand photographs taken on a number of camera; These were imported by using the Photo app.

Be familiar with Windows I though I could find the files in a directory called 'Images' or similar when it wants to view and open in Photoshop Elements and back up to DVD but can not find the files on my disk.

    Help, please!

    Andy

When you import pictures to Photos, you must use the Photos.app to access.  The photos will be managed in the photo library.  The Finder only will show you the photo library as a package, not the files inside. It's very different from Picasa or other applications, which comes to reference files in the Finder. But long term, it is much more convenient, because we don't are not obliged to keep track of our pictures and edited versions. Photos done this for us.

    • Launch pictures to browse the albums and the Moments within the library,
    • and if you want to access pictures from other applications, use the media browser or select the photos and use file > export to create a copy outside the library of Photos.
    • If you want to use other programs to edit photos, use Photo editing extensions, see: Photo retouching for Photos for Mac Extensions
