• Interlaced video and AE - artifact number

  I'm on CS5.5 running on a Win7 64 machine.

  This is my workflow:

  I have the content of two cameras - all clips are 1080i30 of AVCHD.   I import into Premiere Pro and create a multi camera sequence where I change clamps "one."

  I found that you can simply run this sequence in AE because AE can't handle the sequence of multi-came - don't know why, but OK, it cannot.  So, I take the multi-cam sequence and make out in a WMV file that I can put in AE.  As an alternative, I have also nested multi cam sequence in another sequence (interlaced) and dynamic links to AE.

  In any case, in AE I apply several effects: levels, curves, for the most part and made it out as another AVI file for inport in PP.. .  (or if dynamically linked, it is updated in PP).

  The AVI file, if the display on a PC monitor, a lot of horizontal artifacts that seems to indicate a problem with it being intertwined.   If I take the same AVI file and create a DVD with again, the same objects appear when viewed on a TV.

  Its worth noting that if I take the clip of PP and bind it to still dymaically and create the DVD, it seems.

  Then, it leads me to think that the effects of levels and curves are added artifacts.  I'm black crash to give more contrast - which seems only to create noise in the black areas of the composition (which is not there when watch you the video that has not passed through EI).  I can only assume related to horizontal lines which are predominate in the video.

  I don't know what I'm doing to cause the artifacts of EI - if these are the effects, the imported file or if I should make adjustments to the exported file.   I tried to keep the interlaced format consistent throughout.

  If anyone knows the rules I break that could cause this, please let me know.

  So, I take the multi-cam sequence and make out in a WMV file that I can put in AE.

  You went to a compressed format. All forms of WMV are compressed, even the supposedly separated. You're ruining your color information and introducing artifacts of block. Use another intermediate format as the good old picture or Quicktime Animation sequences. Of course, there may be other things happening like you screwing your fields with the wrong settings images and aggressive interpretation for effects in 8bpc causing strips and quantification...

• Problems of artefact and video memory XPS 1710

  My XPS M1710 has been giving me some trouble at the end.

  I have some video artifacts: scattered multicolored on-screen points as soon as BIOS starts through Win XP and Ubuntu desktop computers. Also get random garbled multicolor text in command prompt console modes, BIOS, diagnosis and recovery. Points appear from the moment wherever my BIOS start, always in the same places, and increase in number as the system warms. This seems to be a clear sign of damage to the video memory.

  My hard drive also shows signs of damage: became an unmountable boot volume error. After running chkdsk partial (stopped at Midway after he had run 12 hours) and fixboot + fixmbr commands in the recovery console, I was able to boot win XP Pro again. But after a day of work, I got the blue screen with an error ntfs.sys. Now its been ntfs BSOD every time I start. CHKDSK now tells me that there is a fatal buffer on the hard drive, and I can't reinstall windows (ntfs format is freezing at 68%).

  My BIOS diagnostics said a few defective stamps on one of my RAM cards as well as on my hard drive. The diagnosis is also showing errors on the video memory test.

  My vid card is 256 MB geforce GO 7900 GS. I know the vid card also uses some of the main RAM (shared memory).

  I'm trying to figure out if the problem of video artifacts is due only to either damaged dedicated video memory or cause the main RAM / hard drive. Did the diagnostic test video memory for the memory on the video card itself?

  I know with certainty that one of the cards computer RAM is faulty: after removing the MEAC diagnosis clear memory for the other RAM card. But even with removed faulty RAM memory, video objects are still there and the diagnosis is still showing a video memory error. Logically, which seems to mean that the memory on the video card is partially fried as well. Am I correct to infer from this?

  would appreciate any pointers. Replacement of the HD and RAM is relatively expensive, but having to replace the graphics card on a XPS is pretty hefty ($299 second hand)... Although the graphics card could wait until I have save little money, since points are not that huge a problem yet.

  I bought this laptop a month ago to replace my old who crashed without possibility of repair and I had problems with the video drivers since then. I hoped that the problem would resolve since I am in the middle of my exams and I really have time too much more time to spend to fix it myself, and I also can not him go to the store because I need some software for my exams.

  So the problem that in my view, lies in the video drivers for the graphics card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470. While I'm working on my laptop my screen all of a sudden turns black and my computer crashes (including the very unpleasant noise when I play music at the time) after 5 seconds it flashes live and displays a message indicating that a beelschermstuurprogramma niet Super perfect en is naked herstela. In English, it would be something like s video drivers did not work properly and have now been repaired.

  It is of course extremely irritating, but it became even more then a few weeks previously when I had a blue screen because of a similar error. What make me lose half an hour of work on my laptop. (and as someone who has had reviews knows, half an hour is not something you can always afford to lose) I ran the wizard, and he sent me to the ATI site to look for the drivers.
  The downside is that I could find many drivers, but none for the 3400 series. After an internet search for awhile I finally found some drivers for these series (or they pretend to be), however, this installer was corrupted. I also searched the Toshiba site, but I did find what I was looking for.

  The laptop also freezes from time to time without the screen turning black.

  Could someone help me with this problem?

  First of all, you should post the exact code of BSOD and what operating system you are using. Then, we can search for this problem and what is the reason for this on the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
  Then please send the BSOD code.

  In addition, I put t understand why you can t find a driver on the Toshiba site. Satellite P300-1FY belongs to the PSPCCE series and so I can find a display driver for XP and Vista. So where is the problem? Maybe you should try to install this driver:

  But before you install the driver, remove the old driver first. Reboot the laptop and clean your system with CCleaner. Restart the computer and then install the latest version on the Toshiba site.

  The display driver on the factory site Internet (ATI) doesn't work because it s only for cards of office and not for laptops. Then, you can t install and your laptop has only been tested with drivers of Toshiba.

  If the new driver doesn't work, you should try to update the BIOS too. You will find on the page of Toshiba.

• My photos and videos are not in chronological order, when I export the Photos app

  Hello. When I export my photos and videos from the Photos app on my iMac all the photos and videos are not in order. I need all the photos in good standing - I need to export about 5 000 pictures of the application in order for a meeting next week! Help, please!

  This is not photo - it is a function of the viewing program (probably the finder) - once the photos are exprted form pictures you can see then in different ways which you control, Photos does not - by the finder you can view by name of son, byt several dates, by file size, etc.

  Usually, the best way to accomplish what you want is to export using the names of batch file numbeing and then sort by file name in the program viewing

• Flash crashing and video playback/Streaming problems

  Recently did a reinstall of Windows 7 and have experienced problems with Flash and video playback in general. Questions may or may not be related. I have not detected problems with the opera and so I think that these are problems of Firefox. 3 major video sites that I use are (HTML 5 player) YouTube, twitch.tvand Crunchyroll.

  (1) flash very quickly and systematically accidents

     * Specifically noted when viewing streams on twitch.tv
     * Often crashes within a minute, almost certainly within a few minutes
     * Crash logs provided below
  

  (2) reading crashes

     * Occurs on all 3 sites
     * On twitch, stream freezes (but Flash does not crash). On YouTube, loading circle comes up and video freezes
     * If this occurs on twitch, Flash less likely to officially crash
  

  (3) volume cuts

     * Occurs on all 3 sites
     * If this occurs on twitch, Flash may still crash after
     * I've had volume issues with my system in general, with volume occasionally cutting in gaming programs, such as League of   Legends and Hearthstone. That being said, I do not experience this issue with Opera and this only occurs on video playback in Firefox.

  Attempts at Solutions:

     * Disabled hardware acceleration in Flash
     * Reinstalled/Updated Flash and (I think) made sure there is only one version of Flash
     * Reinstalled/Updated Firefox
     * Cleared cookies/cache/other stored web data
     * Updated all drivers
  

  I wouldn't stop using Firefox as my preferred browser and works fine on all my other devices, but if the problem persists, I'll have to. Any help or insight is appreciated!

  If you are using an adblocker as Adblock Plus, also look at options/filter preferences.

• jpg and videos do not open some sites since the upgrade to FX 39

  Don't know what hurts, but the first attempt at this has no post. I was connected at the time.

  Links that do not open correctly (jpg files and videos (YouTube, etc) are on certain sites only, others work as before.)

  The jpgs on 'broken' websites appear as a large full gray area, a border around a white box, or a small icon. Right click on one and select open in a new tab, the are displayed correctly. Just as same behavior with links of PNG files.

  The videos show as blank spaces. Make a right click on this space does not offer a new tab (share this page, save the page slot, etc..)

  I'm on a laptop of HP under Windows 7 Pro; My wife on a Dell laptop, also Windows 7 computer doesn't have the problem. I have several modules more than she does.

• Firefox for android mobile phone said app can access the following on your phone... take pictures and videos? Is there a work around? If not have to uninstall.

  I have Firefox for my laptop and wanted to use it on my phone Android mobile phone. When I saw under permissions that the application can access photos and videos and can take photos and videos that seemed very odd. Does anyone know of a work around to keep the app to take photos and videos without my permission? I do not want to uninstall but can allow the intrusion of privacy.

  Specifically, some sites may give you the option to attach or embed an image directly from the camera instead of going through a folder of pictures already taken. In order to support this feature, Firefox requires permissions to access the camera. However, according to this article, Firefox will ask your permission before leaving the site to use the camera. I don't think I have ever seen this in action.

• Uploading photos and videos to iCloud...

  Hello, I have the same challenge that many seem to have, in that my photos and videos take forever to download if they load at all. This is a paid service and the answers seem to be "it could take a month" or "be patient"? Well, it has been over a week now and my 35 pictures and 6 videos have not downloaded. I've stopped and started the service, I rebooted my phone and left if for hours and nothing. It is absolutely ridiculous and I would be really grateful if someone could give something more than a 'be patient' so that Apple continues to extract funds from me for a service that can not be used?

  Oh and the videos are not large (we are 67seconds and they total 329seconds) as I had no space to take big videos because I waited "patiently" to download photos and how big can they really be?

  Suspend the download and turn off iCloud library temporarily.

  Have you tried signing off iCloud and then insert it again? I suggest that you try it. Once signed in, return iCloud library on which will restart the download.

  If this does not work, then try to reset your device: hold the home and power buttons at the same time and continue to hold until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the slide to unlock screen is displayed again, return iCloud Phtoto library on which will restart the download.

• Images deleted (and videos) icloud library do not disappear into the folder of the masters

  I've got iCloud Library set up on my Mac OS X 10.11.6 and my iPhone iOS 9.3.3

  I have 300 + pictures and videos in my library to iCloud and then I recently deleted 50 + useless pictures and videos on my Mac to prepare a backup on Google Photos for the first time. I then tried Google pictures and to my surprise, the pictures I deleted still get uploaded to Google pictures even if I them deleted on my Mac, still 300 + of them.

  I am looking for .mov in the masters in my library folder, and I always find my deleted videos. I tried to use unwanted CleanMyMac to photo but it is not deleted.

  Is it possible to remove the so-called "deleted" photos and videos without completely deleting my library of Photos, or should I make a cool library to start over?

  I have an iPhone 6 and uses iOS 9.3.2,and I recently deleted all my pictures and videos to free up space, "Manage the storage" in still however said circles I 23.4 GB of photos/videos like iTunes when I connect my iPhone to my Mac. I deleted my recently deleted folder and follow the instructions of a guy showing a year, which suggests to set my phone date about two years back and deleting the photos recently deleted the file and both of these solutions do not work. I have reset my phone (home and power button operation / stop) and also, it does not work. I don't want to wipe my phone and restore it if possible, but it's the only option I can think of next.

  Are there other solutions before I try this?

  Thanks for stopping by the communities Support from Apple! Looks like you are trying to free up space on your iPhone by deleting all the photos and videos, and you still see 23.4 GB absorbed by these files. You have already made sure to empty your recently deleted album, fix the date of return on your phone and performed a hard reset on your device. You did an excellent job so far, and I'll be happy to give you some ideas to move forward from here.

  Before diving into other troubleshooting procedures, it would be useful to ensure that you have a recent backup of your iPhone is available. This will help us ensure that all your important data is stored safely for you. Here is an article with information on how to backup your device:

  Once it is in place, I recommend you to reset the settings on your phone. This is not the impact of your personal data, but you will have to perhaps adjust the user specific settings, but also re - enter passwords and Wi - Fi networks. To complete this step, go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings. When you restart your phone, check if the local storage on your phone has updated to reflect the changes you did related to your photos and videos.

  Beyond that, you want to look at your phone erase and reset to the factory settings. It is possible that some kind of software corruption causes the divergence of storage that you are experiencing.   The computer is about 10 years old, this vintage iMacs didn't have the ability to cross the Mini DVI audio & video port. The computer would need to discreet cables for audio and video.

• How to stop iTunes to reorganize completely my music and videos?

  I have the latest os x and iTunes.

  I have my music, movies and videos organized in folders in my iTunes Media folder. I have a handful of movies and many home videos, but above all I have the music and music videos. I put them in the music folder, arranged by artist > Album

  Here's my problem: when I create a new iTunes library or import files, iTunes automatically much as home vids classifies and moves them all to a great home videos folder, not organized. I tried to uncheck copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding and held the iTUnes Dungeon Media folder, but it still happens. I understand that items purchased from the iTunes store can be hard wired as films, but I only have 2 of these. I'm fine with this limitation.

  How do I download iTunes to just leave things where they are and add as a file music or "video"?

  It may be useful to what is currently considered a home video as a movie rather reclassified.  Select one of these items in iTunes and click read.  In the Info window, go to the Options tab.  Change the media kind of Home Video movie.  It should now appear in your library of films in film, no video for the House.  If your other files 'movie' (existing) can be arranged as you wish (you want in music for some reason any), it should also work for this film, which was previously a "home video".

  If it works to make a home video, you can select all of your remaining home video movies at the same time, do a multi-point informationand change their media type affecting the same way (in one shot).
