BSOD at irregular intervals

Original title: BSOD continues...

Hello all :),

I suffered the BSOD at irregular intervals (usually every other day I have problems). I paid an a decent amount to have my PC checked everything and told me of the hard drive had to be replaced, but I continue to suffer from this problem despite a new hard drive being installed.

It usually occurs in the first 10 minutes after the start, everything again and everything will be fine until I next startup.

I downloaded the DMP file to onedrive and would be extremely grateful to anyone who can analyze it for me. My apologies for only one of them having however is not usually collect...

Thanks in advance.

Steven

A DMP file is corrupted.  You must configure your system to collect and then download a couple of crushing the future DMP

We need the log files themselves (called a DMP files) because they contain the only record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.

For some reason, my computer took to stop at irregular intervals. This could be the cause?

This forum is for COMMENTS from Microsoft answers. You should post this on a forum of material.

Try here for one of the many.

One of the most common problems for this scenario is overheating. Check that the heatsink is seated in full contact with the processor, that the fins are not clogged with dust, and that the fan turns freely.

The other common problem is a failure of power supply unit.

But there are many other possibilities that understand the hardware and software. Check your Windows event log to see if there are clues (if if it is material, probably of no help).

  • Vista wakes up immediately mode 'sleep' and then at irregular intervals

When our standard Dell Vista machine is put into mode 'sleep' almost always wakes up in 30 seconds approximately. It is in "standby mode" for more than a few minutes it then randomly wakes at other times.

There is no scheduled tasks or updates running during these times so I don't know why he wakes up so often. SP1 has been applied and its updated with patches.

Anyone know why the mode 'sleep' is more than a NAP of 10 seconds?

  • RV220W restart at irregular intervals

    Hello

In recent weeks, our RV220W router knows random reboots throughout the day, causing a network outage for our local network for the few minutes it takes to make the router to start up again. We have seen at least restart 5 today only (and the time is currently just over 13:00).

I have a problem, find the pattern of these reboots in the router logs, although I find these two lines, repeating in the errors :

    Mon Jan 28 13:20:52 2013(GMT+0100) [rv220w][System][EVTDSPTCH] umiIoctl (18, UMI_CMD_DB_UPDATE(4)) failed. table=dot11STA row=11

    Mon Jan 28 13:20:52 2013(GMT+0100) [rv220w][System][PLATFORM] /pfrm2.0/bin/bwLimitConfig /tmp/system.db 18 dot11STA 11 failed. status=-1

I don't know why these messages pop up, given that we do not use the module the router bandwidth limiter (granted, we use the QoS profiles to ensure our own LAN is a priority on the guest VLAN). I'm also not sure if this is related to the router restarts.

I also find the next line repeated in the warning log:

    Mon Jan 28 12:50:50 2013(GMT+0100) [rv220w][Kernel][KERNEL] ERROR:endChantRecv: protocol PNAC returned !OK

The router is running on the 1.0.4.17 firmware version (last official release), given that we needed support for connections of the Hairpin (that I discovered in Public IP used internally on RV220W). I've seen the suggestion of downgrading to a previous version of firmware in RV220W random restarts, which may be solved for the poster in this thread, but as we really support crossed, I don't know what version of firmware is safe enough to downgrade, if necessary.

Any suggestions for a solution or what else to look for?

Hi Kim, I already check your configuration, I had no problem with the device, but I could recommend you who try to simply configure the necessary settings, it resembles a small surcharge, you can also get an another RV220 and work with both devices, in this way, you're going to get better performance. Please let me know know progress when you place your firmware. I apologize for the inconvenience

  • BSOD, need help

    Hi all

OK, so I've had my PC for over a year and have never had any problems with it. Recently, some new drivers are released for ATI - specifically, the drivers beta 13.9 and 13.11. When I updated, I started having BSOD at irregular intervals. They would produce normally when you play, I watch a video with Skype, or sometimes when I tried to load a game.
Extremely frustrating. Anyway, I tried a few things like removing new pilots and return to 'old'. However, the problem still persists.
I thought: "ok, something is going seriously here." So I decided to format the C drive everything.
When I reinstalled windows and installed the drivers the problem was still there. I noticed that my windows had problems trying to install updates.
I reformatted again, but this time I did installed all ati drivers. I decided that I would let windows install all updates first. As a result the PC BSOD when installing updates. This occurred at least 3 - 4 times during installation, updates. Therefore, I think that the problem is something to with one of the Windows Update files.
I ran disk for drive C auditor and all is well. I also ran a Windows Memory Diagnostic tool, everything was fine.

  • Annex WAG160N has v2 ADSL2 + Wireless Modem Router disconnecting at random intervals

The problem is that my WAG160N router v2 isolates at irregular intervals for no clear, obvious and clear reason. The router always reconnects to the Internet automatically, but we want to have stable internet connection so it does not interfere with our download and my game online. Sometimes, it will be disonnect once a day, two days, three days or more times a day.

This problem occurred for about nine months and we have tried to solve this problem for four months without success and very little progress.

There are nine devices connected to this router:

Desktop Mac (connected by an Ethernet cable)

    MacBook Pro my mother (wireless)

My mother of Windows (wireless) laptop

    My Iphone (wireless)

    My mom (wireless) iPhone

    Our Ipad (wireless)

    Our printer (wireless)

My Xbox 360 (connected by an ethernet cable)

My PS3 (connected by an ethernet cable)

First of all, I contacted our ISP. They conducted tests on our phone line and there was no obvious abnormalities. They then made some adjustmenets to our connection, but none of the improvements to our stability of connection, either. I also did the isolation test which did not help. Then they came to the conclusion that this router is the source of the problem.

Then I noticed that when my Internet was disconnected we had active DHCP and it kept more than one of our devices, assigning the same IP address. On my desk he showed me an IP address conflict message whenever we have disconnected from the Internet. So I disabled the DHCP and manually assigned each device to their own individual IP addresses static. This has not fixed my problem even if there are more conflicts of IP addresses.

Then I tried to connect my computer directly to the WAG160N v2 via an ethernet cable, but each single device is always give themselves up randomly. Therefore, we have established that this problem occurs with the cable connections and wireless.

After that, I did some research on the Internet and made a lot of adjustments and modifications that do not stop this problem.

These including: lower the MTU to 1365, changing to channel wireless channels 1 and 6 (we were on channel 11), using a standard instead of a wide channel, lowering the keep alive - redial period from 30 seconds to 20 seconds, increasing the Redial period keep living to a maximum of 180 seconds, disable UPnP and disable the DHCP server on the router configuration page.

I have same Access Restriction is turned off.

I also checked with my ISP and we use the correct settings of Encapsualtion, multiplexing and Virtual Circuit.

So I thought I would post here because we really need to have this fixed a problem and we do not know how. I can't find the logic of why this is happening. This problem shouldn't be complicated.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

My Internet has not disconnected for a week.

Without reset and reconfigure my router, I did the following in the advanced wireless settings page:

Reduced from 100 to 75 beacon interval

Lowering of the threshold of Fragmentation of 2346 to 2306

Lowering of the 2346 to 2304 RTS threshold

I found this info from a different thread.

I'll post again less than a week and if my Internet connection is always stable, I will mark this message as my solution.

  • How can I disable the voice command all together?

I hope someone can help me.  In recent months I have experienced a problem with my iPod Touch [128 GB] which I have not had in the past.

I plug my headphones to listen to music when I'm about to go for a walk.  However, soon after my iPod in my pocket, the voice command is activated (see image).  I have the firm down, but I still have problems.  The music I listen to speed upward (as it is sent) or he's going to jump until then randomly in the track or other tracks.  The voice command is activated again at irregular intervals.

I don't know if it has something to do with my headphones (attached image), which has a built-in microphone.  The reality is that I never use the voice command and don't think I ever have to use it on my iPod.

I read on the deactivation of Siri, but Siri is already disabled.

    Thank you very much

You can disable VC turning Siri.

I would try another pair of headphones. I suspect that the headset turn on VC.

  • Internet Explorer Lock up on my Satellite Pro A120

    Hi all

I seem to have problems when you use Internet Explorer. At irregular intervals (could be long enough could be quite short) Internet explorer seems to hang. On the occasion of the whole notebook locked leading to go through a hard reboot. This seems to occur when you use Internet Explorer (no matter what type of sites). When it crashes but not needing a hard reboot I can still moves me mouse etc. but system generally acts as if it was under heavy load (IE windows / screen in general does not update if I switch Windows, can't close tabs or IE in general). Sometimes after only a few minutes it will rectify itself and sometimes I have to reboot the machine.

Anyone an idea what can cause this problem. I previously had a one-non-Toshiba notebook and got this laptop as a replacement of insurance due to accidental damage. I never had this problem on my old laptop and never have it on my desktop computer.

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello

To be honest, I've never heard something like that. With the help of a few different models of laptops from Toshiba (an old and new also) I never noticed any problems with IE.

It will be interesting to know what made it happen using another browser. Try FireFox or Opera.

    Hello!

I have a Qosmio X 70-A-12W and it keeps freezing! He does it at random times, it just suddenly started working very slowly until it just doesn't work anymore.

Keyboards still turns on but the led button light does not change if I try to activate or disable the pad and the num lock button either... If I'm listening to music, the song stops and continues to repeat the last sound he played very annoying!

It is not a problem with the cooling system, because sometimes it freezes when I start just the computer! Others I can play for hours and nothing will happen (like trying to write this post).

Does anyone have the same problem? Any solution? I've updated everything I could (bios, updated windows, gforce drivers, etc.).

    Thank you very much!

    Andres

    Hi Andres

It is not easy to say what may be wrong with your machine, especially if a problem occurs from time to time and at irregular intervals. All we own OS configuration and we know not what third party applications are running on your system and the background process may be responsible for this behavior.

I don't have this model of laptop and really hope that someone with the same machine will be able to give you some good advice. What I mean is that these questions of freezing can be related to software, but also to a malfunction of the equipment. Hot to check all this?

Best way is certainly test with the factory settings. On this way, you can check if the same thing will happen when your laptop is the recovery image pre-installed own without some additional software and of course with the default settings.

The most possible reason is overheating. You bought a used laptop computer. I don't know, if the former owner of the laptop made cleaning. I advise you to clean with a jet of compressed air, if you don't have it you can use a vacuum cleaner, however, less effective.
