BSOD with igdkmd64.sys error

Hello

I am running windows 7 pro sp1 64 on a lenovo w520. I get the bsod with an igdkmd64.sys one or two times a day. I run the memory test on my computer, which is very good. and have updated all the software and drivers for windows and lenovo. someone has had experience with a solution to this. the computer crashes generally when working on graphics programs, creative suite or modo.
any info would be extremely useful. Thank you!
Joe

Hello

the igdkmd64.sys file could be the driver Intel Graphics. Have you tried to download the drivers directly from the Intel web site? If this is not the case, try using this link:

    OS: Windows 8.1

Intel HD Graphics 4600 with the version of the driver 10.18.10.3277

I try updating the driver, but the problem doesn't seem to be resolved. I also try to restore the pilot but after cancellation, I have been unable to adapt to my screen resolution and brightness (I'm not sure he always get BSOD DNon).

What should I do to fix this?

I hope that it was able to solve this problem with the resolution of the screen and able to adjust brightness.

    Thank you.

Can be resolved by updating the driver manually by using the Device Manager.

For some time now, I have random BSOD with the following error code: 0 x 00000116 whenever I'm in a game.
I tried to update the video drivers, rolling back to an older version of the driver, even reinstall windows and without having to install anything else except the video driver (without windows updates) I went and started a game(APB:Reloaded) one played for a while and he always gave me this JUDGMENT. I'm out of ideas.
The machine that I use windows with is an Ace Aspire 5750 G laptop.
    The specifications are the following:

    Hello

Unfortunately I'm not surprised at all symptoms you described.

    As I said above:

My main concern is that the material side of the issue is rooted in the video to verify that
as much as you can. And of course it can still be heat related.

Do not forget to ask in the Nvidia Forums (and support) to see if others have the same
sort of problems with this video card.

  • Try to reduce the size of the hard drive with pagefile.sys error!

That I put in the subject, I am shrinking my hard drive, so I can make another partition for storage, but every time I do it I get this: "you can't shrink a volume beyond the point where the files not movable. See 'defrag' event in the application log for detailed information about the operation when it is finished. "Well, do that and it's saying it's the pagefile.sys::%DATA's not draggable file. Now, I have already left the virtual memory on the C drive and placed it on another partition that HP had set aside for recovery disks. I also put the memory dumps that animate as well, but I get this: "Windows created a temporary swap file on your computer because of a problem that occurred with your paging file configuration when you started the computer." While the * happens next? How can I get the pagefile.sys off the C drive so I can narrow down?

Temporarily disable your pagefile, shrink your player, then turn on again.

  • BSOD with iaStorA.sys exceptions for system Thread

I have an Inspiron 2350 with Win 8.1.I have had problems with the foregoing and became a system Thread Unhandled Exception. I ran the ePSA tests and all passed.

I updated the machine to win 8 (not easy with a machine that crashes all the time!) But the accidents have persisted. Finally, I turned off acceleration using Intel RST and the accidents stopped.

I upgraded to 8.1 (after jumping through hoops) and everything seems good.

My question is, how does RST interact with Windows? If I turn acceleration and crashes again, I would be able to solve this problem in just turned off, or it could break things again?

In addition, ideas how the DSS can go support him test but fails the system?

    (after a weekend of pain)

    Hi Gordie08,

Looks like you have a SATA driver or incompatible or older chipset that causes the problem. You should be able to solve this problem by updating the appropriate drivers. I'll start with the chipset driver (check Dell downloads) and then update the Intel RST (get from Intel) application.

  • Satellite P500 PSPE8U: BSOD with Win7

    Hello

As Microsoft Windows C++ programmer I have access to the final retail version of Win7, the X 86 and the 64-bit versions of the Professinal build and version of Windows 7 Ultimate have show stopping BSOD errors and so far I had unsuccessfully in looking for it even if I think that I am closing top.

I am hoping that someone more familiar with Toshiba laptops might have seen this problem before and know the fix.

The fault that happens in x 86 & 64-bit, and upgraded or by pure install.
The system is unstable, crash, and or gel and or cause a BSOD with "sdbus.sys", noted as the cause.
The above is a driver installed by Windows and is a signed file MS, who seems to lead the SDHD slot.

If someone knows something about this anomaly he can answer it please.

    concerning
    NicW

a result of this. After much trial and error, I discovered if the SD material is disabled in the BSOD and restart Device Manager stops happening. This material is related to the MS sdbus.sys driver, so there is clearly a problem with the MS driver and the Toshiba laptop.

  • BSOD, c:\windows\system32\drivers\mrxdav.sys error?

I am a veterinary technician, not a computer tech, so I'm out of my depth on this and need help, because these computers are essential for the work I do.

I work with two laptops, Dell Latitude D600 (I know, I know - they're old.) New ones have been approved as soon as budget free of the order).  Specifications are the following:

1.60 Ghz processor; 27 GB hard drive; 599 Mhz, 256 MB of RAM, running Windows XP Pro w/Service Pk 3

We use one of the cell phones as our main unit and the other is our backup.  About 3 weeks, our main unit suddenly came with the BSOD on boot-up top, with the following error message:

    C:\windows\system32\drivers\mrxdav.sys

The driver unloaded without cancelling pending operations.

We had not added anything to the extent of the software or hardware is concerned and had not changed anything except for the addition of new text files through an application that we run.  A opted for our backup laptop and who ran very well for the last few weeks, but now we get the same BSOD and error on this unit as well.  I was able to get the machine backup at startup and function normally after about 100 restarts the other day, and he ran all day with no problems once that it loaded everything.

How do we get this straightened out? We do not have a computer scientist - just a couple of people who know a little more to turn on a computer/turn off.  I ran a clean-up/management application (I-Obit AdvancedCare) for cleaning the registry errors, etc., but that has not solved the problem.

The error message indicates an infection, but because you have scanned, it is more likely that the portable master knows hardware problems and/or the operating system is corrupt. If you are Imaging for the second laptop, that explains why you see the same questions about this. Best free now part of budget money.

Start with the RAM and then make the hard drive.

If good test material, back up your data if necessary and do a clean install of Windows.

  • Windows Vista SP2, random BSOD with error checking code 0 x 19

    Hi all

I have seemingly random crashes on my old laptop 3 years recently - BSOD with error checking code 0 x 0000019 (0x00000020, 0xe92f4780, 0xe92f48d0, 0x0a2a0440), and BlueScreenView says that accidents are caused by ntkrnlpa.exe and Ntfs.sys. I have absolutely no idea why it happened--unusual does update, none of the material changes & software installations. The system hangs especially after maybe one or two days after starting with some sleep & wake ups inbetween and the only accidents while there are prominent running shows - namely, all the accidents that happened while I was running Firefox. Seconds before the BSoD (shell & all) system simply freezes and does not respond to ctrl + alt + delete, but is still running (as indicated by the fact that once, I forced a power off and after that restart the event log indicates the previous stop at was not planned), then watch the usual BSoD screen.

After doing some googling, I began to suspect that this should be a memory or a hard drive problem, or maybe an overheating causing the two since he not there no significant change of software on my computer recently again issues just appeared without reason. So I cleaned my laptop fan and the heatsink and ensured that the hot air can leave the chassis without being blocked, did some checking of memory with memory auditing Windows - no problems in 5 innings and ran chkdsk on my system partition with all available options - perfectly normal, but the chkdsk has acted quite strangely that check all took about 30 seconds and no normal as the ID information of partition, size etc. that should be there never appeared; is this a normal behavior? or something is wrong with my chkdsk?

I'm still (lol) impatiently waiting for the next crash, not sure whether the problem is still there or not. Meanwhile could you please help me understand what is the problem with my system?

It seems that the disc is the most likely cause. If it is intermittent, it may be difficult to diagnose.

The manufacturer of the laptop provides any diagnosis?  Several manufacturers have a key at startup to access the diagnostics.

CHKDSK should last several minutes. There is information about the different ways to run chkdsk here:

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/67612-check-disk-Chkdsk.html

You can try this disc test program:

  • Need help with BSOD PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA win32k.sys

    Hello

    How it started:

I turned on my com and the screen was obscured for a few minutes, I force shut it down by pressing the start on my laptop and tried to back button - turn on the laptop, and it came on the screen

Which was posted on the bsod:

    Win32k.sys

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

    Technical information:

    STOP: 0 X 00000050 (0XFFFFF901C06729B4, 0 X 0000000000000000, 0XFFFF9600006CCA3, 0 X 0000000000000005)

    win32K.sys - address FFFFF9600006CCA3 base at FFFFF96000000000, Datestamp 53c5df64

It's probably something that I installed, however I have not installed any new devices to my com, what I did was clean by removing unwanted programs (Non-windows) and clean my com through defragmentation and free disk space.

I can't seem to find a solution on the forum who can solve my problem, I restarted my com and tried to start in safe mode, safe mode with network, safe mode with command prompt all brings back me to the BSOD. Most assistance in the forum would require me to start working on Windows, but I'm unable to access the windows because regardless of the command I run the com will return to the BSOD. Then I tried pressing F8 startup and select "System, restoration" and by running the backup, the computor invites you to me, ' the selected backup could not be found. System Restore is looking for a restore point that is located on your backup. Choose a different restore point. "I tried to run the backup of all and the same mistake has been invited.

Finally, I did a system recovery Image so I can't use any device to restore the computor to previous state, while it was working fine.

Any help is appreciated, thanks for reading.

  • BSOD - DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL with nvlddmkm.sys and ntoskrnl.exe

    Hey there,

My computer has started planting since yesterday. I played a game for a while and it might or might not be related; Eitherway, it suddenly froze the system unexpectedly and I had to reset my pc. After that system started correctly. I ran the game again to see what's going on, and unfortunately, it crashed the system again; has had to reset hard once more. After that, I got a BSOD with DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL score to nvlddmkm.sys. I tried to reboot once more to see if it disappears and the system charged up to the floating logo of W7, but I only got a black screen afterwards, no login screen either. I wasn't able to boot the system normally more, forcing me to use safe mode. After checking terrils, I decided to uninstall completely nvidia drivers and that helped - loaded correctly and installed system software of windows default driver.

Right now I'm in a situation where Windows seems to work stable unless I have try re-installing the drivers nvidia; In doing so, does not load results in a system and the BSOD screen again after W7 logo, no matter how many times I restart.

    My basic features are:

    Gigabyte P35-DS3R

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.40 ghz, oc'ed to stable 3.20 ghz)
    8 GB DDR2 RAM
Gigabyte Geforce GTX460 1 GB of RAM

    Samsung 840 EVO 120 GB

    ST1000DM003-1SB10C 1 TB

    Silentium VERO L1 600W

W7 Pro SP1 with all latest updates

Here are the dumps (contains the dump of the first and the last being).

So far what I've done - tried unplugging all devices (including my Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Sigma headset), uninstalled Avast antivirus, tried reinstalling drivers nvidia in two different ways (of unsuccessfully); clean the GPU/CPU/power supply. I'm slowly running out of ideas. To add, I never really had problems with my PC - it works all the time for 8-9 years with no issues whatsoever and I moved from c2d e6750 and GTS250 a year (or more) there are what I currently; never had any problems with these components, either. I always intend to Exchange my gpu for further testing, but since I do not have an integrated GPU and video signal passes through GTX460, I don't really know if there is a damaged graphics card (perhaps wrong, however).

If anyone knows what is the origin of the problem and what can be done to avoid a full system reinstall, I would be really grateful for any help.

    Update:

I swapped the GTX460 with my old GTS250 for test. Apparently, it seems that the GTX460 was damaged and all misleading BSOD was actually caused by defective behavior. Fix to 750ti in a while.

    Edit [21/05/2016]:

I swapped to 750ti and all is well again. This case can be considered resolved.

    Description of the problem:
I rebuilt my entire machine a few months previously, after purchasing a TechNet Plus subscription new video card ATI Radeon 5870 2 GB and new AMD PhenomII X 4 965 CPU.  Quickly, I installed Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 and started to load all the drivers and applications.  Then the problems started.  I want to play WoW would freeze the game, the screen would be gray, then black, then the fan on the video card could turn 100% gas (video driver Windows in vacuum), then about 60 to 90 seconds later, I'd get a BSOD with either atikmdag.sys or lately, it's been atikmpag.sys.  This happens also in looking at video clips in Windows Media Player or VLC and sometimes even when I watch YouTube videos (both in IE or Firefox).

  • When I try and play games my computer crashes or I get BSOD with the error Stop: 0x000000F4.

Hello, I recently built a computer and installed all the software, drivers and updates of windows that I needed. Go and try to play games, I can play for a little bit. Then my computer crashes or I get BSOD with the error Stop: 0x000000F4. Generally before that happens, Skype will plant give me a message that says "error disk i/o" If that helps. How can I fix this problem so that this error does not happen again? It happened several times. I tried to reinstall the CMOS battery on the motherboard. I have the latest firmware of my SSD and drivers for my card mother and graphics card. My specs are:

    Hello

To help you, we will need files DMP to analyze what exactly happened at the time of the accident, etc.

If you don't know where the DMP files, here's how to get to them:
    1. go to the Windows\Minidump folder.
2 copy all the DMP files in the Minidump folder on your desktop and zip then those files.
3 download the zip containing the files DMP to Skydrive or a Web hosting of your choice and paste in your answer.

If you plan to use Skydrive, but do not know how to download it, please see the following:
    http://www.WikiHow.com/use-SkyDrive

Please note that all "cleaner" such as TuneUp Utilities, CCleaner, etc., default will remove files DMP when using because of their place too.

If your computer doesn't generate DMP files, follow these steps:

    1. start > type systemroot which should show the Windows folder, click it. Once inside this folder, make sure there is a Minidump folder created. If not, CTRL-SHIFT-N to create a new folder and name it Minidump.

    2. Windows key + key Pause. This should appear in the system. Click Advanced on the left system settings > advanced > performance > settings > advanced > make sure there is a check mark for "manage automatically the size of pagefile for all readers."

    3. Windows key + key Pause. This should appear in the system. Click Advanced on the left system settings > advanced > startup and Recovery > settings > failure > ensure there is a check mark next to "Write an event to the system log" > make sure that "automatically reboot" is unchecked.

Ensure that the partial memory image is turned on and make sure the path is % SystemRoot%\Minidump.

    4. check that the viewers is ENABLED:

Start > Search > type services.msc > on the name tab, search for Windows Error Reporting Service > if the service status is not started, then right-click and select start. Also to ensure that, under Startup Type set to automatic rather than manual. You can do this by right click, select properties and under general selection on 'Automatic' startup type and then click on apply.

If you can not get into normal mode to do this, please do so via Safe Mode.

    Kind regards

    Patrick

  • BSOD with Memory_Management error when connecting hard drive external

I have an ASUS all-in-one about a year with Windows 8.  About a week ago, I got the BSOD with error Memory_Management and OS was never able to recover.  After trying several system restores with no luck, I unplugged my external hard drive, and the operating system booted up normal.  I checked the hard drive on another computer and it worked fine.  I tried another external hard drive on my ASUS and as soon as the operating system detected it, I got the BSOD again.  I tried other USB ports with the external hard drive and the same result.  I tried a USB stick in the USB ports and it worked fine.  Need help please I can save is no longer my files.

Have you checked for a firmware update for the manufacturer HARD drive + assured your USB drivers on the computer, it blocks are perfectly up-to-date on the site of the manufacturer (not Windows Update or Device Manager)?
