BSOD error - Win 7 - Stop error/Bug Check Information

I've been trying my brain for days trying to figure this one. Some of this information might be useless, but I write it just in case where. For someone who can help me, or is ready, thank you in advance.

Computer information:
I just bought a lenevo w520. for my wife and me for Christmas.
Features: processor i7 2820QM 2.3 GHZ, 8 GB Ram, 500 GB HDD, Quadro of Nividia graphics card, ask for more information.

It's a costly computer, so I really prefer that it does not break, or that I don't have to spend even more money on it. But I'm sure you've all heard this before. (:

In any case, for those who want to help, I got this error checking information and Event Viewer:

What I did:
I checked BlueScreen Viewer is mentions the ntkrnl.exe, but side form the param data he says nothing about how to fix this.
I tried to restore on the eve of the day the BSODS happened. Nothing has changed.
A ran Malwarebytes, he cought something and got rid of him. Nothing has changed.
I tried the Windows Update. Nothing has changed.

Weird part:
This BSOD occurs only when the computer is off, rebooted, disconnected. That's all so far. I don't want to ruin anything!

Thank you for your time in advance and as always, a quick response would be much appreciated!

Check updates systems installed to KB2862330. Is it installed?

This security update was initially released on 8 October 2013. The security update was re-released on January 14, 2014, for computers that are running Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. The reissue resolves an issue in which one of the pilots of the stack kernel USB 2.0 is not updated in some specific computer configurations.

Note: compare the versions of your file in the link above. I suspect you've found BCCode 0xD1 due to improperly installed or missing update.

My server gets a BSOD evrytime I try to log in, I can only log in safe mode.

I've seen so many pages saying that this error is caused by a hardware failure, but I have not intall anything new on this, I guess an update caused the problem, I already ran the unsuccessful memory test, also had executed tools hard disk without finding anything to help solve the problem I have also updated the BIOS without success, I also uninstalled the latest updates but the problem persists. Can someone help me?

    • Server: DELL PowerEdge 310

  • Computer restart and display BSoD error constantly

My computer restarts and gives me a blue screen error message.

    Minidump:
    https://SkyDrive.live.com/redir?RESID=27EED93B82BAB133! 120 & authkey =! AFPe1f7a4LP64IA

"It is not a true crash, in the sense that the blue screen was launched only because the combination of material and video driver video was to be insensitive and not because of any exception processing synchronous".

Since Vista, the components of "Timeout detection and recovery" (TDR) of the subsystem video OS have been able to do some really impressive things to try to find issues that would have led to the earlier OS like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends a video driver command "Please restart you now!" and wait a few seconds.
If there is no answer, the BONE concludes that the combo of driver/hardware video has really collapsed in a heap, and it fires at this stop 0 x 116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions did not help, make sure that the box is not overheated.
Try to remove a side panel and a fan of big sector directly to the motherboard and GPU.
Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to check whether the cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it could be as simple as dust accumulation and inadequate cooling afterwards.

I download cpu - z and gpu - z (both free) and keep an eye on the video time

This is called a BCC124 and is linked to the material.  Since "genuine Intel" is referenced in your, I would run a cpu stress test.

Try this free stress test: http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft/

    Prime95 Setup program;
-Extract the contents of the zip file into a directory of your choice
    -Double-click on the executable file
    -Select "all stress testing.
-Select the test of 'Blend '.  If you have already run MemTest overnight, you can run the test of "Small FFFS" instead.
"Number of threads of torture test run" must equal the number of processors multiplied by 2 (if you use hyperthreading).
The best way to do this is to go to the Manager of the tasks of the figure... The performance tab - and see the number of boxes that appear under the CPU usage history
Then run the test of 6 to 24 hours - or until you get errors [b](whichever comes first)
The selection of Test and the file stress.txt box describes the components that insists on the program.

    Stop 0 x 124 is a hardware error

If you are overclocking try to reset your settings to standard processor and see if that helps.

If you keep getting the BSOD here are things more than you may want.
This is usually hardware related, defective heat, memory or processor even if it is "possible" he is associated (rare) driver.

Stop 0 x 124 - what it means and what to try

    Synopsis:
A "stop 0 x 124" is fundamentally different from many other types of bluescreens because it arises from a complaint of material.
Stop 0 x 124 minidumps contain very little concrete information, and it is therefore necessary to address the problem as a case of material in an unknown state of distress.

    Generic troubleshooting ' Stop 0 x 124 ":

    1) to ensure that none of the hardware components are overclocked. Material which is pushed beyond its design specifications - by overclocking - may malfunction in unpredictable ways.
    (2) ensure that the machine is sufficiently cooled.
If there is doubt, open the side of the case (be aware of all the relevant conditions guaranteed!) PC and direct an electric fan squarely to the motherboard. Who will rule on most cooling problems (lack of).
    3) update all drivers related to materials: video, sound, RAID (if applicable), NIC... anything that interacts with a piece of hardware.
It is best to run the latest drivers anyway.
    (4) update the BIOS of your motherboard according to the manufacturer's instructions and clear CMOS.
Their website should provide detailed instructions on the brand and model-specific procedure.
    (5) rarely, bugs in the operating system may cause "false positives" 0 x 124 events where the hardware wasn't complaining, but Windows thought otherwise (because of the bug).
At the time of writing, Windows 7 does not have to suffer from a defect, but it is nevertheless important to keep Windows up-to-date.
    6) trying (stress) test these hardware components that can be put to the test artificially.
The most obvious examples are the RAM and HDD (s).
For the RAM, use the 3 rd-party memtest86 utility to run several hours a test value. (6-8 passes to stress the ram)
For hard drives, verify if CHKDSK /R finds any problems on (s), including "bad sectors".
Unreliable RAM, in particular, is mortal, as well as software, and anything other than a 100% clear memory test result is cause for concern. Unfortunately, even a 100% clear result the diagnostic utilities does not guarantee that the RAM is free of any defect - only that none have been encountered during the test passes.

    7) as the last of the non-invasive troubleshooting steps, perform a "Vanilla" Windows reinstallation: just the OS itself without additional applications, games, utilities, updates, new drivers - or ANYTHING that does not come from the Windows 7 disc.
Who stops working mitigate the problem of the 0 x 124, jump to the next step.
If you run the "Vanilla" installation long enough to convince yourself that not a single 0 x 124 accident occurred, start installing applications and updates slowly, always stopping between successive additions long enough to get an idea of the question if the machine is still free of 0 x 124 breaks down.
Smash back, obviously the latest addition of software may be somehow connected to the root cause.
If the stop error 0 x 124 persist despite the above steps, and the equipment is under warranty, consider to go back and ask for a replacement that does not suffer periodic MCE events.
Be aware that want to perform the subsequent hardware troubleshooting steps can, in some cases, void your warranty:
    (8) clean and carefully remove the dust inside the machine.
Reinstall all memory modules and connectors.
Use a can of compressed air to clean the RAM DIMM supports as much as possible.
    (9) If all else fails, start removing items of hardware one by one in the hope that the culprit is something non-essential that can be eliminated.
Obviously, this type of testing is much easier if you have access to equivalent components in order to perform swaps.

If you are in the situation to have completed all the steps above without a resolution of the symptom, unfortunately the most likely reason is that the error message is literally correct - something is fundamentally wrong with the hardware of the machine.

    Hello!

In your case, I would check the RAM, I think that's the problem.

You can do this with Memtest86:
    http://Memtest86.com/
Memtest86 is a diagnostic tool to check the RAM. Here, you can also download a CD image.
It s easy to use. Run the test of 3-4 hours and then you will see if the RAM has some errors.

    Hello

I have known many BSOD errors since last year. I tried to install a new copy of Windows, but the problem is still going.

I read some responses who blame Bitdefender here, but I want to confirm by sending my dumpfiles before complaining to them, can you help me?

I also read something related to this on Bitdefender forum http://forum.bitdefender.com/lofiversion/index.php/t48376.html, but I think that's exactly my problem. However, I installed the patch mentioned, but still have not tested its effectiveness... Could this hotfix (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2664888) solve my problem?

These accidents were related to the corruption of memory (probably caused by Kaspersky).

Please run these tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.

If you're overclocking (pushing components beyond their design) return you to default at least until the crash is resolved. If you don't know what it is that you're probably not overclocking.

Since then, it is more likely to be a pilot run everything first.

All accidents occurred when PJ64 was running. What version are you using (the most recent is 2.x.x etc... AS FAR AS I KNOW). If you are, try 1.6 instead, or if you're running 1.6, try 2.x.x (later). In addition, it is perhaps a video driver issue.

    ------------------

1 make sure you have the latest video card drivers. If you are already on the latest graphics card drivers, uninstall and install a version or a few versions behind the last to make sure this isn't a last number one driver. If you have already experienced with the driver of the card later and earlier versions, please try the driver beta for your card.

    2. don't use PJ64 for awhile and see if the crashes stop. If they do, PJ64 is the question and you will need to understand why (plugin possible licensing, etc.).

    Kind regards

About 6 months ago we replaced the CMOS battery, while we struggled to find a brand new ML1220EI2 Nickel hydrogen 3V 14mAh, we had to go for a "used" quality one.

The problem persists and I now also get this message every time that I reboot rather put into hibernation.

Yes, the computer is a little more than 5 years and hit a little, but it is absolutely perfect in all other ways - with one exception - the main battery is completely dead. If the network becomes disconnected, I make you stop in about 3 minutes. :(

Is it possible that the CMOS battery charge the main battery and this is my problem? I did a little research on Google and found a similar question and an answer on a Dell forum where someone has stated that the CMOS takes his food on the main battery. Would this be the case with my Equium and could buy a new battery solve my problem? I obvioiusly don't want to spend £30 + for it will not help, any response would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    > Is it possible that the CMOS battery charge the main battery and this is my problem?
Well, the CMOS battery can be charged with AC adapter but the laptop must be turned on for about 18 to 20 hours.
It s not I known if battery CMOS takes the power of the main battery
Usually the CMOS battery should always charge in work and when the laptop is plugged in
So, theoretically the main battery has no influence on the CMOS battery.

I think it might be a mobo problem, I think this could be a reason for it

By the way; in most cases the CMOS battery is not removable... so I wonder how did you repalce this CMOS battery...

My dv7-1285dx worked perfectly until a few weeks before, now he wants bsod on me at least every other day, sometimes twice a day or more. Various bsod error messages (STOP, IRQ, etc.). No indication of something. At one point last week, I had to use the restore application to return two registry saved back to just run - before that it would not boot.

Error with nvlddmkm.sys are related to driver Nvidia but that only happened once. The last was something with a pilot and an IRQL is not an error (I'll follow upward with more detailed messages on this subject when they occur - sorry to be vague).

I have run all equipment, disc tests and memory that are included in the suite of Win7 and run standalone versions similarly people to Acronis. Nothing seems abnormal. I hope that someone can read these dmp files and tell me if something stands out.

    Thank you!

Problem solved by replacing SoDIMM defective.

    Tests with Memtest86 + was very helpful in tracking down the memory defective barrette. I ran the test 4 times to determine which module was the absence of ata and eliminate any hardware problem module slot;

    1. 4 GB SoDIMM in slot 0
    2. 4 GB SoDIMM in slot 1
    3. 2 Gb SoDIMM in slot 0
    4. 2 Gb SoDIMM in slot 1

I ran each test for ~ hour or two. I thought that I had a problem with the 4 GB SoDIMM but it turned out that the 2 Gb SoDIMM was the culprit with this testing methodology.

Replaced the 2 GB SoDIMM and revived the test overnight (~ 10 hours) with two SODIMM modules in the machine and found no errors.
