BSOD - grr BAD_POOL_CALLER & DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Help me I have a user who continues the BSOD errors above: (.)  Windows 7 Professional, I have reset the bios of the user as one in November indicated that it was a problem with overclocking and through various driver updates.  When I started working here, she had one for his video card driver which I corrected.  Now she has started to have these, if my research is it's his Intel Wireless NIC

I also ran memtest86 and it found no errors at all.

You will find a link to the minidump files:

I don't bother with more information that you always ask all the Minidump files so if you need more please let me know, there are 4 files in the link above.

PC a friend, apparently blue screened during the connection of its new iPhone 5. As I said in the title, the blue screen seems to alternate between Memory_Management and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I can start in safe mode but impossible to activate the Windows service install. I installed SafeMSI and always impossible to uninstall anything. I installed Revo Uninstaller, uninstall of Windows/application still does not work, but I used it to remove iTunes, Apple Mobile Device Support, etc. Also, I can't use any network in safe mode even when the boot safe mode with networking so I can't check for solutions online. I did comprehensive RAM test-run Windows diagnostics, diagnostics of HP, MemTest86 or about (ran without error) 8, tried with each RAM stick only, tried with each in different locations, tried with two other sticks of 1 GB matched RAM, try with a different from 2 GB RAM stick, tried in all four memory locations.  I also ran ComboFix and MalwareBytes, Chkdsk, sfc /scannow...and probably others that I can't think of right now. I was going to just to reinstall Windows, but when you start the ISO that he allow me to upgrade, it will wipe the data. Same thing when running in safe mode. It blue screens a few seconds to load the office so I have no time to do anything normal start-up. Oh, I also did a start diagnosis "clean boot", etc. - blue screen every few seconds. When I boot mode safe, it works well with the obvious exception of services that I have to solve it. I also tried to boot to the last good configuration, try the Startup Repair and attempted a system restore, but event viewer informed me that all the restore points had been deleted for one reason or other. Any help would be appreciated.

More than 80% of them were directly related to your Symantec and many others indirectly.  I would also like to delete AVG.

I would replace both with MSE.  BTW, you win most DMP files presented by a long shot (255).

These accidents were related to the corruption of memory (probably caused by a driver).

Please run these tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.

If you're overclocking (pushing components beyond their design) return you to default at least until the crash is resolved. If you don't know what it is that you're probably not overclocking.

  • BSOD of ntoskrnl.exe and other issues

It is a new construction, new CPU/motherboard, etc, have a new video card. Three hard drives are in my system (1 SSD and HDD 2). I don't really know where to start to look at what may be the issue. I thought it was the video card, so I replaced it, but I still get similar questions.

  • Satellite L350 - BSOD during the recovery and missing "BOOTMGR"

    Hello
I have a Satellite L350, Vista Home premium SP1, (had it for about 4months)

Yesterday I received an error black screen on my laptop it says to reboot, so I did, then just, my laptop wouldn't stat more, I have no idea why?

So I put in my computer come with recovery disks laptop just reinstall every thing as if I just got it out of the box and I followed the instructions that the Recovery Wizard disk Toshiba says, and as his 'adaptation of the files', I get say Blue error screen "a problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL".

And tell to reboot or what ever and just keep it.
    (Info tech: STOP: 0x000000D1 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x8D246FD7)
    (usbccgp.sys - address 8D246FD7 base at 8D23E000, Datestamp 47919053)

Then I reboot my system and a black screen comes up saying "BOOTMGR missing".
So now, I have nothing that works, I retried the disks but same error with blue screen.
I also tried to make the atmosphere safe and decent here, nothing works.
    I m needs help!

Thanks for reading, sorry for so much reading to do

The reason why laptop doesn t start (error bootmgr) while the installation is stopped with a BSOD. If you need to reinstall the laptop again.

It looks like a USB problem because I found this in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/945436/en-us

If you have connected the external USB devices to the laptop, remove them.
In the worst case, there is something wrong with the USB ports or controller and the motherboard must be exchanged.

  • BSOD 0 x 00000050 and 0x0000008e

A couple of weeks, my PC started to BSOD, I was on IE8 in time. He continues to randomly BSOD since. L:AST night error codes were 0x8e, 0 x 50, 0xc2 (Bad_Pool_Caller was the last error message given). Some days it works without problems, others he stops even when I'm not in the machine.

I am running XP with SP 3. I ran a memory check, and it was clear, to begin by, but threw different errors each time. He also loccked a couple of times. I've now resorted to 1 GB of RAM in slot two of the MOBO. Today it works OK.

messages associated with error codes have changed as well: NTFS. Address SYS... PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA... WIN32K. Address SYS... ATAPI. Address SYS...

After looking on the MS site I applied two patches: KB954211 then KB959252. Small seemed to work for a few days.

The MOBO is a Biostar GF7050V-M7, I looked on the site and see that there is a new version of the BIOS. I tried to install this, but the tool BIOS tells me that the file was the wrong size to 376 KB the old file nearly 2 GB.

    I'm out of ideas.

You don't has not said what program allowing you to check the memory, but if you have errors, either you have bad memory or a bad mother. Other components could be failing, too. Here are hardware issues. There is no need to apply software solutions (patches KB) to hardware problems.

Replace the defective hardware. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Windows BSOD problem 8 (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL)

I have an ASUS PC which has recently started giving me the BSOD, and although I have looked through the forums, it seems that I have to show my files minidump for people to understand what I need to do to fix.

    Here's my minidump files: https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=79CBE16531EA59A6&id=79CBE16531EA59A6%21105

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

All attached files of the DMP are the bug check DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1) .

This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory with a high IRQL.

A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high. This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.

By default, the fault of accidents is NETIO.sys which is network IO subsystem. This is not the real cause of the accident and usually when we associate network crashes like that, it is caused by one of three things:

1 network drivers themselves must be updated.

    2. 3rd party antivirus or firewall software cause of NETBIOS conflicts.

    3. other 3rd party driver conflicts.

    ---------------------

    1. AiCharger.sys is listed and loaded in the list of the modules that is the charger of the AI driver. It is included in several Asus, bloatware, which you seem to have installed. Please go ahead and uninstall all software Asus as it is useless bloatware.

2 uninstall ExpressCache as soon as possible.

    3. make sure all your network drivers are up-to-date.

    Kind regards

    Patrick

  • HP pavilion followed bsod to black screen and the start program menu f10 does not work

Come play a game on my pc when a BSOD pops up... then in a few seconds my pc stops and starts again. But now I'm stuck in a black screen: a disk error occurred press ctrl alt del to restart. When I do, I'm back to the blue screen (the screen where you can choose to go to recovery, configuration and startup menu). The f10 key recovery does not, others do it... What can I do? Im not happy to lose all my documents but if not the end of the world because I have an external drive with the most important things about it. I don't have a recovery cd... I hope someone can help me because I can't find answers on the internet...

  • BSOD: athr.sys/DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Hey! I get a BSOD/stop message sometimes, unregulary. Whenever he came, I use the wireless connection. I googled athr.sys, and I am absolutely sure this is the dor my card an Atheros AR5007 wireless driver. I found a couple of guys from Lenovo, which took the same or almost the same problem with athr.sys. So, looks like a problem with the driver.

I use the driver version 7.7.0.199, which is the last on the HP driver download site. I found the most recent drivers, but not on site HP or Atheros (which does not have all the drivers at all..), but no official, www.atheros.cz sites and opendrivers.com. But given that these websites seem a little easy and are not the official websites, I have not tried one of these... In addition, I tried to download a driver of opendrivers I think, but there was no installation file, just the .sys files.

So, in total, I've known 9 accidents so far, some using Firefox, some online games and use Spotify. If you want me to post the minidump files (.dmp) I can do... But for the time being. Only, I'll post a picture of the BSOD...

I use Windows Vista SP2 (updated 2 days ago, had at least one accident after), on a HP Pavilion dv5 1103-el, who was released from Italia and then sold here in Sweden.

The picture of the BSOD is here:http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/5238/dsc04289u.jpg

I don't know if one of the dysfunctional pilots affect the other. Please help, don't know what to do! Thank you
We need the DMP file because it contains the single record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.

WE NEED AT LEAST TWO FILES DMP TO SPOT TRENDS AND TO CONFIRM THE DIAGNOSIS.

If you're overclocking (pushing components beyond their design) return you to default at least until the crash is resolved. If you don't know what it is that you're probably not overclocking.
You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting in SafeMode (F8) with networking.
If you are overclocking stop.  (chances are that if you are unsure if you are, you are not)
To allow us to help you with symptoms BSOD on your computer, download the contents of your folder "\Windows\Minidump".

    * OK your way out.
    * Reboot if changes have been made.
Please also run MSinfo32 and download the output as well.
To run MSinfo32 please go to start > run > MSinfo32
Go to 'file', 'save' and download the PDF is saved with the DMP
System specs are extremely useful then please include everything you know.

  • Old computer BSOD when installing XP and randomly after installation

I'm repairing an old computer (5-6 years old) who has problems.  Originally, it was full of viruses and was completely sunk, so I did a cleanup of the HD and reinstalled windows... However, increasingly, the owner complained to get BSOD once in a while.  It happened during my installation of windows as well.  The disc to load everything upward, and when he is at "Windows Installation", he gave me a BSOD error:

    STOP 0X0000006F (0XC0000020, 0X00000000, 0X00000000...)

I did a Memtest86 + to verify memory, and after 10 passages, there was no error.  I also cleaned all the dust in the computer, which helped me to get windows installed, but has not fixed the random BSOD would happen after installing windows (this happens rarely, making it difficult to reproduce).

At first I thought it was the hard drive, because the hard drive is old and use IDE cables, but he spent under UBCD Disk Diagnostic tools.  In addition, on a hunch, I tried the first 95, and of course it enough it crashed the computer.  What is the cpu?  Or something else going on?

Single Minidump file has been generated, but I am including here:
    http://CID-676f5f905e0a077b.Office.live.com/self.aspx/minidump/Mini021611-01.dmp

I think that it is likely that the CPU or the motherboard is at fault. If it's a very old PC, not worth the effort/cost to recover. I recommend a new PC.

  • Windows XP - what is this BSOD code meaning? And how to solve?

    BAD_POOL_CALLER * STOP: 0X000000C2 (0X00000CD4, 0X8175A2E8, 0 X 0000007, 0XB8A6B448)

The details of the error checking (double free) suggest memory corruption occurs.  This may be due to a hardware failure (defective RAM, for example), or a bad/buggy driver or a driver that is not designed for the version of Windows you are using. Consider using driver verifier as described below, to determine which driver is corrupting the memory.

General to deal with the bluescreens indications:

Consider running chkdsk on all partitions.  Leave complete chkdsk on each partition and see if that helps.

It may be useful to use the driver verifier.  To activate the... Driver Verifier start-> verifier.exe-> OK-> create standard settings-> next-> driver select the names to a list-> next-> sort by provider-> select all other Microsoft drivers-> finish and OK your way out of the dialog box.

Then restart and use the system as you normally and wait for a problem.  In case the system does not completely start after activation of the Verifier, boot mode safe and run driver verifier and tell him to remove the changes.

Wait for an error checking to happen after you have enabled the auditor as described and then download the dump on your SkyDriveand provide a link.

    Also consider running SFC/scannow.

If you start in safe mode, do you still feel bugs? What if you do a clean boot, or boot device?

Consider the memory with memtest86 or Windows Memory Diagnostic test. Note that memory that pass the tests isn't necessarily good memory - he not only failed a review.  Examine systematically to eliminate the system RAM - run with a few modules for awhile and see how things are going. Then try the other modules.

Other common suggestions include ensuring drivers are up to date, but also to ensure that you use the latest version of the BIOS.

  • Random BSOD, all drivers, firmware and bios updates. Need help!

Hello, before Thursday and the release of Windows 7 x 64 I was running XP pro x 64, I did a clean install of Win 7 Home premium x 64 and was faced with random BSOD every hour. I've updated all my drivers, bios, hardware, everything that I could think of, and he continued to perform. I gave up on Win7 x 64 thinking it was a driver problem, so now I'm back on XP pro x 64 and I have random BSOD frequently enough.

If you haven't tried items on this thread then get started with them.  XP troubleshooting

So I recommend you to run Chkdsk/r

And test your memory with the Memory Diagnostic.

Given that this error occurred with two versions of Windows, I would check the material to ensure that it is not a problem with anything. Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers
