Must be quick, title says it all
Windows registry is responsible for the .dll files?
SFC shows SEVERAL DLLs not missing, no installation CD.
Not good recovery CD.
I have the copy of the registry before changes but online before browser support multiple and many BSOD.
Will post now as browser crashed early in post and the 5 th time in half an hour. Thanks for the reply Elizabeth23, but I finally found the part of the SFC.
SFC showed 167 system missing files - if you continue to press Cancel > continue every time SFC tells you to put in your Windows installation CD eveeentually happen to you at the end of his race - and I ran 3 times and each time got 167.
Now I had some of the 'missing' located in System32 .dll files, but some were also in i386 and the drivercache but I had not located a bit; but I knew that something is not right I had found some system 'missing' files and after that a few hunting came across a site that said to check the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Setupand under SourcePath my entry is a file that does not exist 'Temp' so I changed the entry to C:\WINDOWS rebooted and ran SFC/scannow and it scanned without stopping.
Weird as the registry key was in a file that is no Temp because I ran many SFC
times in the last 2 months and it always scanned all the files in the operating system without a hitch...My computer is still BSoDing out, had two after SFC took place without a hitch.

NB550D - BSOD when connected to Wi - Fi
Hi guys
I bought my NB550d year last to take the os on a school trip. Love everything about her, except for one thing. I'm going crazy trying to solve this problem. Any help would be great.
I constantly get a BSOD when I'm on the net. There is nothing that it freeze, abandonment, crash 10 times in 10 minutes. Often, I have to remove battery to reboot. I took it to the population of warranty but they said it worked well and charged me 1/4 of what the machine purchase cost for the privilege!
I went to China and it worked like a trooper bit no problem connecting to wifi it etc. He took on vacation no problems using my USB mobile internet. It made me rethink my router/modem (series 5200n billion) can be the question disconnected it and used my old 'G' router and separate modem worked well (does everyone else slow we can have 4 laptops connected at the same time) This reminds me of the wifi card is the question. I have the latest drivers etc, but still no joy. NO other laptop has this connection problem in our House (they are all toshibas)
Someone at - it suggestions as to the best way to solve this problem? Don't really want to go back with speeds etc for other users simply because mine is having a hissing fit.
Happy to replace routers cards etc but would like to know exactly who's going to solve the problem.
Thank you
Narnie
Hello Narnie
On this virtual path is not easy to say what can be the problem. We put t know exactly the configuration of netbook, but with the settings, it should work fine.
For three months, I have NB550D-112 and it works perfectly with my home WLAN. No problem at all.As I see that you also use mobile internet USB. I assume that you have installed additional software for this. Perhaps here is some conflicts. Who knows?
What we do here, it's just to speculate on your BSOD problem. In my opinion, you should set your netbook to factory settings and test several days with your WLAN home and without having to install additional stuff except regular and important updates from Microsoft.
By the way: what BSOD error is shown?

Tecra 8100 W2K: Fn + F5 produces Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)
My faithful 8100 (W2K sp4) has developed an irritating fault. If you press Fn + F5 (display control), the system crashes quickly.
It is quite difficult to see what is being said ' cos the BSOD message flashes very quickly and by.
However, it seems that Stop 0 x 00000050 (0xF000FF54) IPF in nonpaged area.

Its something to do with windows for sure. If I press Fn + F5 until Windows has loaded there is no problem.
I'll try it in SafeMode tomorrow to see if that helps, but if anyone has any experience of something similar I'd love to hear it.
Thanks for any info
Hello
It is not easy to say what the problem is here, but you can try to remove the Toshiba from your system utilities. Restart your Tecra and check if the function FN went. If so, this tool is responsible for this.
Download and install again. Perhaps this will help you solve this unusual problem.
To be honest I never, but never really heard of something similar. -
BSOD and analysis of Minidump to a week old HP ENVY17
I just got my new ENVY 17 w / Intel Core [email protected] with 8 GB RAM on 4 February. And, although I love the speed, the ability to run CS5 and the opportunity for the kids to play games like SC2, it is already clear that there are questions.
On 6 February, I received the first BSOD. Since then, I got them on several occasions, once on 8 February, 2 February 9, 2 February 10 and already today.
To study, I have install WINDbg and analyze dump files. They look something like this, saying: ntkrnlmp.exe is probably to blame:

Other information you'd like to know is Yes, it works warm, but I have a cooling block running at all times. He runs about 43 to 47 under normal operating conditions and under intensive use does not go above 70 C. The value of Tj Max for the processor said 100 c, so I don't "think it crashes because of the heat.
I thought that maybe it was a driver problem, so I tried to update the drivers for my video controllers and network and it says that I have the best driver installed. Seems that after the crash, my wireless network do not reconnect by itself and will not not connect what either, so I feel as if there is a network problem. I have to restart again just to have the wireless function.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be the cause of the BSOD? If I can't find a solution, I can just be back to this HP laptop.
Thanks for any idea.
Since this is a brand new computer, I don't think that faulty RAM is the cause. After some additional research on issues that others were with this model, I reduced to the HP Support Assistant (HPSF_Utils.exe). Whenever I tried to run this software, it would result in an error. I even uninstalled and downloaded the latest version of HP and it still would not work.
So I removed it altogether 13 Feb and I did have a blue screen since, while I was getting blue screens every day and sometimes twice a day with the computer straight out of the box.
Hope this helps someone else.

Here is a link with several options for you to try. I hope that one of them will help you. Make it a great day.

Original title: access to a specific registry key generates BSOD. How can I fix the key?
Scans the registry in XP causes a BSOD. The wrong key is HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18\software\Microsoft. Access to manually also causes a BSOD so I can't delete or export it. I do not have a restore point from before the problem started. Other than the access to that key or run a search, XP works well.
Is it possible to fix this? Not having no not this error in my notes (in other words, I've not seen at least 2 times), I Googled it and first fell on a MS KB article:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/810558
This article includes this statement:
Contact Microsoft Technical Support to help heal the corruption in the registry.
I think that is where you are right now, so let's see what is the response of the Microsoft Support Engineer, now that there is more information. I always love to see what they have to offer first.
Why and how did you change the system restore to create restore Points 3 a day for 30 days (FYI - that is not the same as a backup).
If you were to solve some problem at the time, what was the question?
The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)
In the meantime, I would run a chkdsk /r on your volume XP since XP Recovery Console.
If you are not sure of the SP2 CD you have is an XP bootable installation CD authentic and not some kind of restore CD for the Dell system to 100%, I would recommend this (that I've seen more than 2 times):
If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and don't forget (no support for XP not necessary).
This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.
You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.
The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:
xp_rec_con. ISO
Download the ISO from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig
Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD (do not install UniBlue or the Ask Toolbar - never!):
Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:
http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61
It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.
You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive. These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load. If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.
When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:
Press any key to boot from CD...
Installing Windows... going to pronounce.
Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.
Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)
You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).
You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS. It's the same as the
C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.
The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.
For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:
A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.
In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.
Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem. It won't hurt anything to run it.
Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:
CHKDSK C: /r
Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.
It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck". Be patient. If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something. Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress. It may even seem to go back sometime.
You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.
Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.
You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

---------Hello Hanning,
Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows Vista CD. You can get the well-known files from your dvd to the BONE. Have you this? If this is not the case, try a system restore. If it does not always help let us know that you can download and ISO of here: http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ but the use of this software to burn your ISO. Link: http://download.cnet.com/Active-ISO-Burner/3000-2646_4-10602452.html?tag=mncol, let us know if this allows you to get your drive. Follow the instructions. Let us know whether, if that helps you. Make it a great day!

Some rather illusory BSOD and crashes on windows 7.
So for the past month I have been doing some strange crashes and BSOD that have been in every sense. I've been on Reddit and impossible to get a solution, I have reformatted, which does not set it. I've been on with the technical support of Microsoft support chat and can not get a definitive answer (they spend hours and a symptom of trouble then send me on my way). Accidents and the BSOD happen a crapton all in one day, it's good for several days, then it's a crapton while a new day. I just assumed it was graphics so I uninstalled and reinstalled. No solution. I assumed it was ram, so I change RAM, using just a single chip, get chips on other computers, including the chip switch is in what location, perform a test of memory, no solution.
Apart from just BSOD I have therefore also get those pips weird screen that blur the screen and resemble a classic movie scene where a security monitor is hacked. Or sometimes I can be working away and suddenly the computer starts up without ever giving any warning or anything.
Here are the BSOD logs that I have. He did TONS more than that, but more often it does not really give me a journal later.

Control Panel device - graphics card configuration-manager - note the brand and complete model of your graphics driver - double-click - tab - write version information. Now, click the driver update (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.
Repeat for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers you have.
Now go to the website of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration), then site of the manufacturer of the device (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Review of the BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system while there).
Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.
Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.
Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.
Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Hello. I had to deal with these BSODs for a long time now. They often occur when the computer is waking up from his sleep.
I tried a number of things:
Moving all my usb ports USB 2.0 devices
Remove all devices (except keyboard and mouse)
Reinstall the latest usb drivers intel
I'm out clues, and I'd love that someone diving deep with me to resolve this problem. The system is only 2 years old:
ASUS Z - 97A
Intel i5-4590 Haswell 3.3 GHz
Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A 2 x 4 GB
Here's where I've been posting about this, with not much help in these communities:

If the most recent version of the driver did not work, you can download the older version of the driver from the manufacturer's Web site for your and check if it helps.

I get a blue screen when I watch a video on Youtube, and it can't on Youtube (at least what I think). I can watch videos on other sites without the BSOD occurring. I thought that the cause of the APC was because of adblock on Chrome, I recently downloaded and realize my laptop shifted more often, overheating and the BSOD occurred often, I uninstalled it, but nothing has changed. I did some research on this subject, as this driver search has been the cause of the bluescreens. Something to do with dxgkrnl.sys5d134 , dxgmms1.sys + ff13 and atikmpag.sys + 746c (sorry I have no idea what they are...). I read a few threads suggesting I should put to day/uninstall/reinstall all newly added software or the graphics card mode failure or something, but honestly, I don't know how or what I do the same. Try to watch a tutorial on Youtube would probably break my laptop so I thought that if anyone could kindly help me here... Explanation step by step would be really useful!
My blue screen information are down below:
Bug check code: 0 x 00000116
Parameter 1: fffffa80'090ba010
Parameter 2: fffff880'0480746 cParameter 3: 00000000'00000000
Parameter 4: 00000000'00000002
Never mind!! I THINK THAT IT IS CORRECT.
I just had to update and restart the computer HAHA. Thank you very much!! HOW CAN I REPAY YOU? I'm so happy, so bloody grateful omg!
Thank you so much, honestly.
Lots of love from Rina<>

You can see my specs system here:

I have also 2 x 1 and 2 x 512 Rams too and 3.0 ghz cpu.
I downloaded my silent files:
https://onedrive.live.com/redir?RESID=8713C95A5F5EC95A! 116 & authkey =! AMZRN_QCvduynzs & ithint = % 2cdmp
in the last month, there was a lot of BSODS. I watched with view blusscreen but a lot of different drivers and the reason, so I'm confused.
I tried sometimes to add Rams, sometimes tempted to switch the cpu to 3.0
And drivers updated pc.
So, what should I do now? I need to fix my windows 7? I want to stay in windows 7, I love home 7.
And sometimes itrestarted prior to loading office, smtimes before boarding, win 7 animation. So once he said you had to fix it, because there is a defective file, but then I restarted and I cpuld go in my office.
my files all here
https://onedrive.live.com/redir?RESID=8713C95A5F5EC95A! 154 & authkey =! AI1rtI2h_5L_Uag & ithint = % 2cdmp
In this computer I also have xp on different hard drive, when I use it with 2.8 or 3.0 ghz, no BSOD.
I'm not sure quue my Rams also. I did memtest for a short period.
I downloaded a driver update software to update my drivers. Maybe it caused. because my pc is very old and I want to be able to use it for a short period.
You can see my xp BSOD here

Please run view driver and download the output as described in the wiki below. You must have a lot of drivers no MS more than 5, and you do not have a load of nvidia drivers

Hey.
I had some problems with a computer that I bought recently. When you play, I get a bunch of different bsod screens, apparently at random. It's just enough to be annoying, so I'll do it here.
Here's a bunch of landfills: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=159912DE53A5CF77! 109 & authkey =! ABf4MHrSc_y3lDU & ithint = the file % 2czip
I ran memtest86 for a passage twice without errors. What can I try to fix this?
Well done.
It is the same driver (8.940.11.0) HP has on their WWW site as from 22/03/2012 as your msinfo32 says:
8.940.11.0 driver version
Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\atikmpag.sys (8.14.1.6253, Ko 319,50 (327 168 bytes), 22/03/2012 11:10)
I asked experts from the community of AMD/ATI, and they have a driver later version that you can take a look at knowing that it is now a 'legacy' driver and it is unlikely that they will make all the patches for it.
Here is the link to download:
http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy2&OS=Windows+7+-+64
If/when you turn to update and reboot you can watch your msinfo32/video section again of course the version and date show that change and, hopefully, that will help your system behave.
If you get more BSOD after having checked the new version has been installed, you can download those and we can take a look at them but it is still the driver AMD/ATI willingness will not be any later version to install (they are made with this material).
Another source of help could be the support forums of online community for games that give you trouble. These people love to talk about their gaming platforms, problems and issues, then it could be that someone out there has some ideas for you.

BSOD - seems random, different causes, does happen not in safe mode
Hello
A few weeks ago I started having BSOD crashes. It was the first time in over 2 years of use, that this had happened. I searched the forums and verified as much as I could. I've updated all of the verified drivers memory (deleted all modules and tested 1 by 1), scanned hard drives, disconnect all devices. Pretty much everything I've tried has not changed anything. To make things more interesting, whenever I checked minidumps in BlueScreenView it would emphasize almost always another dll, address each time.
Suddenly, arrested little accidents after my tent to correct so I thought that I had fixed. Fast forward 2 weeks free problem later today and it happens again. 5 times in an hour, even as fast as 10 seconds after Windows starts. Whenever the Minidumps, refer to a different question so I really do not understand where to start.
I didn't have a crash in SafeMode. But maybe it's just by chance!
5 last minidumps can be downloaded here - minidumps. All the tips are greatly appreciated that I don't see the way to fix.
The computer is a laptop Asus G75VW. 16 GB ram, 256 GB SSD, 750 gb HD, GTX 670 m
Thank you
SimonHello

BSOD ntoskernel.exe and other things
So for the 6 last month or two, I suffered from BSOD in windows 8. I never had these problems under windows 7. I ran Windows memory for 6-8 hours diagnostic tool without a single error. I have 32 GB of RAM, but problems did not begin to show until the path after that I installed these bars of memory. in any case
I had a memory of different errors. I enclose all my files to dump. This is probably my last try to fix the BSOD on Windows 8, all in all I love the system, it is fast and great ussually, less the BSOD big kitten... I would maybe go back to Win 7 just because of this.System Specs:AMD FX 8350 4.0 GHzATI 6970 @ stockSSD OCZ Vertex 3 with 1.25 firmware (latest)Series of fatality ASROCK 990FX v1.90 BIOS (Latest)1 TB Seagate HARD drive850 watt XFX PSUEventually, I have noticed that some updates may cause these errors... Whenever the system broke down for me played a game, a lot of times Guild Wars 2, sometimes of the League of legends although rare.now to find a way to download files. The files are here: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=721D30CA0DCAF2A0! 123 & authkey =!
