BTN problem of Smartphones blackBerry Blackberry w/Wireless Exchange Server @ Work & Desktop Synch program @ home

My Blackberry Curve is constantly updated from the Exchange Server at work, but I would like a one-way sync from my Blackberry to my Outlook at home for the calendar and Contacts.  When I try to do, the Blackberry Desktop Manager tells me that ' if there is currently no available for synchronization: Calendar/Contacts because the requests is (are) set up for wireless synchronization. "  Desktop synchronization for the above applications will be disabled.  Please click on 'Help' for more information on how to turn off sync wirelessly on your device. »

Obviously, I do something wrong because even if I click on help and read the instructions, nothing seems to tell me what to do.  Can someone help me?

I solved this problem myself by calling AT & T Blackberry helpdesk.

    1. Add the appropriate printer from the control panel > printers > add printer

    2. Select local printer, and then select [Create New Port] > [Standard TCP/IP Port]

    3. [device type] > [TCP/IP device]. Host name or IP address must be the IP address of the print server device.  I use a linksys router and difficulty mine to 192.168.2.10.  Check and are not [query the printer for and auto...]

  • Problem of Smartphones blackBerry sync with Outlook 2007.

I was sync my "BOLD" with none of the problems of all founded. When I tried it sync today, the program stops saying that there is a mistake as soon as he tries to synchronize the calendar.

    Someone had this problem today?

I have a BlackBerry Bold, Outlook 2007 and BB Desktop Manager 5.0

I think they meant you could try to wipe the device. Just note that by doing this, ALL data on your device will be wiped. Do you want to go into the Options | Security options | General settings. In this screen, you click on the menu button and select wipe Handheld.

My suggestion would be to try just to clear the Calendar database. To do this, you open the Desktop Manager and go to the backup and restore icon. Then click on the Advanced button. On the right side you will see all the databases on your BlackBerry. Then you can simply select the Calendar database and press the Clear button. This will keep everything in tact and erase all your device calendar entries.

After that's done you can try to synchronize again.

  • Massive problems of Smartphones blackBerry with BlackBerry BIS AppID World after passage of provider

    Hello

I recently changed suppliers and got a bunch of different problems since then. The old provider deleted my BIS account, which of course also disabled the functionality of messaging push on my BlackBerry. I tried to register a new account with my new provider, which has failed for unknown reasons. After several calls to my new hotline providers, they finally suggested to reset my BB to factory default and try saving again. After resetting, pretty much the first thing I was invited with was connecting BlackBerry id I used my old login and just after that, in the Mail Setup dialog box, got the error once again that there is a problem with the application server and I can't create or open a session with a BIS account. I was wondering how he could know my BIS account, so I made an another factory reset and this time created a new BlackBerry ID. This time everything went well past the new BIS account was created in a few seconds and a test mail was delivered to my device immediately. I was happy enough, until I noticed that I could not restore all my data of BlackBerry Protect because of the new BlackBerry ID. Also all my applications were gone from App World, which is linked to the BlackBerry ID as well. So what I was wondering is now

    (1) why did my BIS account linked to my BlackBerry ID,.

    (2) how can I remove the link it and use my new BIS account with my old BlackBerry ID and

    (3) if I can't do it, how can I get my BlackBerry Protect and App World purchases return data?

I would have preferred the first two questions were answered, because I do not know to change providers and, therefore, accounts of BIS is a fairly common thing, so there must be some make it right, right? I hope that there is a way to solve this problem, because if I have to choose between 'keep apps but live without email' and ' have push email and redeem all applications ", I would probably choose Android instead.

PS: I also tried to find a way to contact RIM, so they could disassociate my old account my ID BlackBerry BIS somehow, but there is really no such thing as "BlackBerry Support". The only thing I found was a button on the page of the App World for a refund etc, but then again, the link was dead.

Just a brief update in case that someone else gets desperate as me. After the last response from sdgardne (a big thank you, btw) I had given up hope, because I didn't want to waste any more time with incompetent personnel of my ISP. But in a last shot I've collected a bunch of addresses email on the web I thought somehow on the RIM support/customer relations and sent an email describing my problem to each of them. I didn't really do anything, but after two or three days, I got a response. A big very nice person said "that is not a problem at all, we have corrected your account. Everything you have to do now is to make a backup, security - wipe your smartphone and connect with your old ID BlackBerry. "That's what I did, and it all works perfectly, with my new BIS account AND my old apps hour

    Way to go RIM!

  • Problems of Smartphones blackBerry sync with outlook, following a back up and restore

It gave me a new BlackBerry "BOLD" device to replace a defective. I did a sync with my outlook, contacts etc. calendar so all the information was up-to-date and then backed up all my data from the original handset. I then successfully restored all of this data to the new remote control.

Since I was not able to properly synchronize my phone with outlook. the blackberry desktop manager no longer link the contacts in outlook with the correct contacts on the handset. It so happens with messages with "resolutions of conflict" where he compares with Emma Smith on the BlackBerry smartphone, contact for example John Smith on outlook - have nothing to do with eachother. Both Outlook and the handset have the same information, but they are more link successfully.

I wondered if it has something to do with how contacts are identified by the Office Manager and if restore information from the new remote control has changed that on the device?

As I have more than 600 contacts, I am very concerned about doing the wrong thing and lose vital information and so far nobody's confidence was able to tell me what to do.

Please can someone help me solve this problem?

    Thank you

    MarijkeV

If you have the data synchronized in Outlook as a backup, you will be ok. You can also use the backup and restore utility to perform another backup of the databases on the device.

If you delete this folder, you will lose any information on the BlackBerry or Outlook. Start with the Desktop Manager closed before deleting this file. After that you remove it, connect the BlackBerry to your computer, then open the Desktop Manager.

From the Desktop Manager 4.3, I think, the icon you would go in to reconfigure the settins would sync | Synchronize

  • Problem of Smartphones blackBerry App World on PC

I fought with App World for months since I had to replace my Storm with a curve... I get the message "app is not available...". "that was never a problem on my Storm.  Then I tried to connect to App World on my computer which made me connect my curve and do a verification system, then I accepted the terms and Conditions, and finally I had to link it with a paypal account.  I went through the process and set up, but when she returned the site of App World it remained on the payment information page.  It will not continue after that point and all I can do is click on the "Pay with PayPal" button not telling me that «this prior approval has already been processed...» "Whenever I navigate off the page of payment information that I must begin the entire process signature again.  Like I said, App World is not an option on my phone, so any ideas what I need to do?

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Here are a few kilobytes that may be useful:

    • KB25521"" is not available for download on BlackBerry App World "appears when you try to download an application from BlackBerry App World "
    • KB24200 Screen loops when BlackBerry ID or PayPal authentication is verified in BlackBerry App World 2.0
    • KB20031"BlackBerry AppWorld has problems connecting to the server BlackBerry AppWorld. "Check your network connections, and then try again" appears at the start of BlackBerry App World

There could be more... but it's a start. You should also check with your wireless service provider and make sure your AppWorld/BBID has been fully migrated over your new device... If they have not completed the migration of backend, which could cause problems.

The 'last resort' is to find the email you received initially want you AppWorld/BBID. That is a link to use to remove your BBID account. Then you create a new account BBID, using exactly the same powers... that connects the new account with all previous purchases and history. If those who are not important, then by using the same credentials is not necessary... just create a whole new BBID and start over.

    Good luck!

  • Problem of Smartphones blackBerry Blackberry Desktop Software 4.1 uninstallation

I support managers at my office and their Blackberry.  They all use the Blackberry Desktop Software to synchronize with MS Outlook accounts.  I had to give them a more updated version of the desktop software.  I tried to remove the version 4.1 on a particular computer, and he keeps asking for the disk.  (which I did not)  I tried to uninstall by deleting the registry keys associated with Blackberry and files in windows (Research in Motion etc...)  When I installed the version 4.3 on the computer, to the end that he asked for the disc for 4.1 yet.  I cancelled and completed the installation.  I rebooted several times and recorded the dll.  4.3 software will synchronize the Blackberry with the office, however, it appears with a dialog box requesting the cd whenever it syncs.  I need to stop this.  Can someone please?

    Thank you!

    Sandi

    EDIT: Remove personal information

I was finally able to uninstall 4.1.  Fortunately, I tracked down someone who actually had the 4.1 software installation.  Thanks for all your help. I don't know the combination of measures and to find the software 4.1 is what solved the problem.

  • Problems of Smartphones blackBerry 8310 on pc-linking either using usb or bluetooth

No matter what I try, I can't connect my blackberry curve 8310 (ATT) to my pc Windows XP sp3...    I tried to use the software provided by att, power off phone, back and the only thing that happens, is that the phone continues to Flash in that it connects, but never connects.  So then I go to the blackberry website and download the latest version of the software and the latest usb drivers.   No change.  Phone just keeps blinking (do not use a usb hub).  I tried many usb ports on my pc.

Okay, so now I'm tired of trying this, and I try to use my IOGEAR Bluetooth adapter.  After fighting for an hour, I get the bluetooth finally appears on my iogear software, but it requires a password to connect the phone to the pc (the phone is asking password)...

    Does really make it hard...

I searched and read many posts here, but none appeared to be suitable for my problem...

Very well.  I finally got all working...  After searching for days, I found that my IOGEAR bluetooth installed its own driver WIDCOMM bluetooth.  I uninstalled the bluetooth adapter and used, then reinstalled, using the adapter for windows xp.  Now, everything works, including the USB key.  Just how a Bluetooth player can affect a usb device, I don't understand, but that's exactly what my problems were.  Now, everything works fine, including my phone that allows me to set up my sd card correctly.

  • Problem of Smartphones blackBerry with the button mute

So I was playing songs on my blackberry 9700 when I tried pause button works fine but anyway after some time stopped working for some strange reason.

I also reboot the phone given that it could be a software error, but nothing helped.

Kindly advise on how bad the problem or do I have to go into a blackberry shop for repair.

    Thanking in anticipation >

If a battery pull did not tour (and I hope that your phone is powered when you removed the battery, otherwise it will do nothing to help you), reload your operating system is the next logical step.

To do this, connect your phone to your PC via USB and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Once your phone has been recognized, click device at the top of the software, and then restore the menu drop down.  Choose the most recent restore point and the recharge.  That should do the trick.  If this isn't the case, you should return to your carrier for replacement.

    I hope that helps you.

  • Problems of Smartphones blackBerry using Desktop Manager with Outlook 2000

Hi all, first time poster here and I'm pretty much at my wits end so I hope that you register here and asking experts will help me solve my problem!

I took possession of a BB Storm 9500 and fight to synchronize a folder of personal contacts within my work email client - Outlook 2000 SP3.  We use MS Exchange, but it is a very old version (5.5 (I think) and will be updated soon.  However, I want to synchronize my contacts folder using the BB Desktop Manager software and I have problems.

DM BB software does not recognize Outlook as a possible source for the calendar - lists that Outlook Express, Yahoo and ASCII Converter.  So I select the ASCII Converter after you export the PST calendar folder in a CSV (BACK), but when I open the field mapping option in the desktop software manager, the 'Email' field is not visible as a mapped field.  I can transfer just about everything (once I changed the listed fields exported from Outlook to match what awaits the Storm/DM software) but I can't for the life of me find where the Email data field is mapped to-he's just not here!

I tried to do a complete uninstall of the DM Software (cleaned up the registry, etc, etc) and reinstalled but still the same problem - does not recognize the existence of Outlook or the Email field.

According to the BB, it's loaded with v4.7.0.78 (Platform 4.0.0.98).

Is it possible to do what I want it to do?  Support muchly appreciated!

    Andy

Outlook 2000 is not supported by Desktop Manager version 4.3, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7 or.

It is supported in the Desktop Manager 4.2 Service Pack 2 version.

You'll either have to update your Outlook, or downgrade your DM.

  • Problem of Smartphones blackBerry sync a BlackBerry Tour 9630 to a MacBook Pro

I just bought a new tour a couple of days, and after reading all these discussions of the forum, I have not been able to sync to my MacBook Pro.  I downloaded PocketMac 4.1.25 and the update of the recommended driver 3.1.3B, but I have not had luck.  The message I get is: "unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); jump. "I really need my address book and my iCalendar.

I see that there is new software that Apple was released in September for users (any idea when in September that comes out, by the way?), but I was assured and reassured by the Verizon rep to help me that I would have no problem to sync to my MacBook.  Is there something I can do until I fix the problem?

    I'd appreciate any help!

Thank you for a very frustrated customer.

Pocket Mac did not work too well for me, either, so I Google had the beta version of the Blackberry Desktop Mac software and installed it. Not perfect - this is a beta, after all - but it works, and it's better than PocketMac.

  • Problem updating Smartphones blackBerry AppWorld

This morning, my Storm has notified me that he did not have a new version of the Blackberry AppWorld.  After you download the 1.1.0.19 version, all prices of the app changed from U.S. dollars to Euros and some applications that interest me tell me that my device doesn't support them, when he did yesterday addressed to them.  When I try to re - install AppWorld, the version of "downgrade" (. 15) who has been pre-loaded, he goes straight to the new updated version.  I'm going to restore the whole system, or can it be fixed?

You're not the first person to describe this problem.  According to others through the forums, you should be able to log on to your PayPal account and it will then detect your default currency and back to U.S. dollars.
