Problem updating Smartphones blackBerry AppWorld

This morning, my Storm has notified me that he did not have a new version of the Blackberry AppWorld.  After you download the 1.1.0.19 version, all prices of the app changed from U.S. dollars to Euros and some applications that interest me tell me that my device doesn't support them, when he did yesterday addressed to them.  When I try to re - install AppWorld, the version of "downgrade" (. 15) who has been pre-loaded, he goes straight to the new updated version.  I'm going to restore the whole system, or can it be fixed?

    Delete AppWorld from your phone and reinstall it, and then update again (if necessary). It is possible that the update has been altered during the download or installation.

    Hello!! Appworld does not open. Instead it will show an error message (it is a problem with the current Session. Please sign in to continue. Error ID: 30702). While the Blackeberry I intend to come out of this message (unable to update your Blackberry ID account information). I use a blackberry Torch 9810 with 7.0 on this OS. Please, what can be done to remedy this disorder. COS I already tried to uninstall the software and reinstalled again still with no positive results.
    P.S: it works fine before. The blackout began about 3 weeks ago.

  • Problem of Smartphones blackBerry App World on PC

    I fought with App World for months since I had to replace my Storm with a curve... I get the message "app is not available...". "that was never a problem on my Storm.  Then I tried to connect to App World on my computer which made me connect my curve and do a verification system, then I accepted the terms and Conditions, and finally I had to link it with a paypal account.  I went through the process and set up, but when she returned the site of App World it remained on the payment information page.  It will not continue after that point and all I can do is click on the "Pay with PayPal" button not telling me that «this prior approval has already been processed...» "Whenever I navigate off the page of payment information that I must begin the entire process signature again.  Like I said, App World is not an option on my phone, so any ideas what I need to do?

    Here are a few kilobytes that may be useful:

    • KB25521"" is not available for download on BlackBerry App World "appears when you try to download an application from BlackBerry App World "
    • KB24200 Screen loops when BlackBerry ID or PayPal authentication is verified in BlackBerry App World 2.0
    • KB20031"BlackBerry AppWorld has problems connecting to the server BlackBerry AppWorld. "Check your network connections, and then try again" appears at the start of BlackBerry App World

    There could be more... but it's a start. You should also check with your wireless service provider and make sure your AppWorld/BBID has been fully migrated over your new device... If they have not completed the migration of backend, which could cause problems.

    The 'last resort' is to find the email you received initially want you AppWorld/BBID. That is a link to use to remove your BBID account. Then you create a new account BBID, using exactly the same powers... that connects the new account with all previous purchases and history. If those who are not important, then by using the same credentials is not necessary... just create a whole new BBID and start over.

    I have a problem with my blackberry voicemail.  I am a new user of blackberry.  I recently had to update the unit (it took awhile).  Recently when I try to call my voicemail it calls my home phone number.  Press speed dial ' w' indicates my cell phone number, but when I try to call him, he calls my home number.  Also, if I dial manually in my cell number and press send, she always calls my home phone number.  Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?  I'd like to be able to check my voicemail!  Thank you.

    On your home screen to Options > device > application > locate and remove BlackBerry World from there. After deleting to do a battery pull reboot as this device on remove the battery wait a min. then reinsert back.

    After rebooting your BlackBerry browser browse www.blackberry.com/appworld to download the recent version of BlackBerry World.

    Please try it and let us know.

    I get my company a Torch 9860 and at first, I installed the DesktopManager on my PC (Win7 64 bit). The first connection between BB <->PC, I receive the information, a BB-the most recent Version is avialable. So I did the update to V7.1.  Up to this point, everything works fine. Emails coming and so on...

    But if I open AppWorld I get information, that there is a newer Version avialable. So I get a und link for the download to start. Halfway, stop download and I get the message "attribute MIDIet name fail."

    Then I restart my phone und try again, but there's doesn´t work.

    Then I uninstall appworld 'old'-app, reboot the phone tried und download-->, but it s the same

    Then I have an idea: I download the installation on the pc und file copy on the BB. But I can´t find something to download to the pc.

    So now, I have a phone without appworld.

    Can someone help me? I want to install a view apps...

    I just upgraded to 6.0 on 9700 and since I was not able to use the phone. It always freezes on me and wont even work at all with the SIM inserted. Out the sim card and it only that freeze. It responds only to his own will. Tried to re-login to the desktop software and still the same. All I get is the clock bit processing on my screen. Waiting to get an error message, but nothing.

    It is less than 1 MB of free memory. You get only about 30 to 40 MB.

    Just got my phone a week ago so I'm still new to this.  I was able to download applications directly from the AppWorld on my phone.  What I'm trying to do is to access the AppWold from my computer to find applications and download them on my phone.  It is easier to find and watch the computer.

    During the SystemCheck to download the app, when you select the PIN code and click on connect, I get a message that might have stopped a script on this page.  If you click on continue, I get an error message saying "device.legacyfail.header".

    Don't know what it would be.  It isn't a huge deal, because I can get the apps from my phone, but I'm a little curious what it would cause.

    I would appreciate any info people have on it.  Thank you!

    He did get resolved.  It was my phone had an older version of the app AppWorld or the desktop software was an older version.  I seem to remember it was the AppWorld application that needed the most recent version.  I think that after a day or 2 there is a update for the app for me to download.

    Sorry I don't remember exactly what happened, but I know for sure, it was one of those two things.

    I recently changed suppliers and got a bunch of different problems since then. The old provider deleted my BIS account, which of course also disabled the functionality of messaging push on my BlackBerry. I tried to register a new account with my new provider, which has failed for unknown reasons. After several calls to my new hotline providers, they finally suggested to reset my BB to factory default and try saving again. After resetting, pretty much the first thing I was invited with was connecting BlackBerry id I used my old login and just after that, in the Mail Setup dialog box, got the error once again that there is a problem with the application server and I can't create or open a session with a BIS account. I was wondering how he could know my BIS account, so I made an another factory reset and this time created a new BlackBerry ID. This time everything went well past the new BIS account was created in a few seconds and a test mail was delivered to my device immediately. I was happy enough, until I noticed that I could not restore all my data of BlackBerry Protect because of the new BlackBerry ID. Also all my applications were gone from App World, which is linked to the BlackBerry ID as well. So what I was wondering is now

    (1) why did my BIS account linked to my BlackBerry ID,.

    (2) how can I remove the link it and use my new BIS account with my old BlackBerry ID and

    (3) if I can't do it, how can I get my BlackBerry Protect and App World purchases return data?

    I would have preferred the first two questions were answered, because I do not know to change providers and, therefore, accounts of BIS is a fairly common thing, so there must be some make it right, right? I hope that there is a way to solve this problem, because if I have to choose between 'keep apps but live without email' and ' have push email and redeem all applications ", I would probably choose Android instead.

    PS: I also tried to find a way to contact RIM, so they could disassociate my old account my ID BlackBerry BIS somehow, but there is really no such thing as "BlackBerry Support". The only thing I found was a button on the page of the App World for a refund etc, but then again, the link was dead.

    Just a brief update in case that someone else gets desperate as me. After the last response from sdgardne (a big thank you, btw) I had given up hope, because I didn't want to waste any more time with incompetent personnel of my ISP. But in a last shot I've collected a bunch of addresses email on the web I thought somehow on the RIM support/customer relations and sent an email describing my problem to each of them. I didn't really do anything, but after two or three days, I got a response. A big very nice person said "that is not a problem at all, we have corrected your account. Everything you have to do now is to make a backup, security - wipe your smartphone and connect with your old ID BlackBerry. "That's what I did, and it all works perfectly, with my new BIS account AND my old apps hour

  • Dishonest seller Smartphones blackBerry Appworld?

    I post here because I can't find any obvious way to contact support of Appworld. I hope someone here can help.

    About 4 months ago, that I bought for £4.99 an application called Unit Converter by Adorno via Appworld.  When installing the application, it became clear that it wasn't working properly on my Torch 9800 immediately. I reinstalled several times but nothing helped. The app constantly crashed, in the drop-down menus have been non-functional and the graphics were awful.

    I contacted the support in the normal way and not having received any response after several weeks that I posted a review of the product on the AppWorld who shared my bad experience with this App all about 6 weeks later I finally got a response of Adorno claiming in a misspelled sentence that they were aware of the problem and that it would offer a fix in the next update.

    As the still there were no updates again, I visited AppWorld. Here, I was shocked to discover that my review and it seemed more tests offering low rating in stars was removed and only reviews with 5 star were left. The most recent review is November 2010. Very strange that all refute comments, probably the people with the latest BlackBerry OS6 devices etc. have been removed. This app was released in April 2009 and is not compatiable with the latest operating systems. This in my opinion is fraud. Mislead people that this is an interesting application when in fact it is not, I say, for people who have experienced similar problems with Adorno unit converter.

    Two days ago, I wrote to Adorno claiming that there was no update next I want a refund. Surprisingly, I received a reply today "you must contact the online store to request a refund" that it was a response to a rude phrase.  With a previous unrelated incident, I got an immediate refund direct to the seller so in this case, I'm left wondering, what store?  I can't see any link on any BlackBerry site to get refunds and I am obviously against a seller with bad business ethics, take the money and run. Is it normal or RIM Appworld rules for sellers to act like that? If anyone can help or offer advice on this doesn't please, I'd love to hear from you. I also think that the Adorno seller should be studied by RIM. BlackBerry offers high standards, Adorno certainly aren't.

    on the other hand, on how the developer responded to you, I can't find anything really wrong.

    That being said, you bought the app in a store called "BlackBerry App World". If you want to request a refund, it is normal to communicate with this store and not the developer.
    When you buy a pair of jeans to Levi at Best Buy, you go to the Best Buy receipt for a refund.

    Hello! My old Curve 9300 3 replaced for a new one due to some technical problems. Now when I try to connect to AppWorld, I get the message that the log information is incorrect. When I then try to reset the password for the answer to the "secret question" is also incorrect. Now, I'm really stuck because I cannot download updates. Any ideas?

    It must be remembered the BlackBerryID password or secret answer to the question. Without either, you're stuck.
    Your choice is:
    -Use a different e-mail account to create a new BlackBerryID (with which you will lose access to all apps purchased using the 'forgotten' first BlackBerryID, or)
    -Find the initial email you have been sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID and there are a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on this, delete the account and then you can use that same e-mail to create a new account.
