  I am facing a problem in restoring Informatica repository (Oracle_BI_DW_DEV).
  I installed OBIEE 10.1.3.4 and OLIVIER 7.9.6.1. Installation has been successful with errors. I also installed informatica 8.1.1 on my Xp machine.
  For restored Informatica repository I copied the .rep OracleBI folder file and pasted into backupfolder Infomatica.
  When I try to restore the Informatica repository I got the following error.

• Cannot restore the iPod

  I read the discussion for corrupt iPod Classic and tried all of the listed suggestions.

  The iPod is not recognized by iTunes (latest version for my MacBook) and does not appear in the Finder.

  When you run the diagnostic tests, he said the "cannot open device" and underneath that says "ERROR!" «Stop diag»

  See iPod displays an icon 'X' Red - Apple Support. Apple may not have much interest in the classic iPod service. The line was removed some time ago. I would normally say that you look at corrupt iPod Classic, but if the error message indicates that the drive will not mount so you will not be able to read the stats.

  I bought an iPhone 6s a month ago. Saturday, the screen is dead - they said it was a bad card, so they gave me a new.   I have a new computer Windows 8.

  The hard drive is split into two, OS (C :) and DATA (d) and I realized that all my files were stored in the C: drive)

  I read online that you can change the location of folders like "My documents" by clicking on properties and change the location to the other disk.

  I did it for the Documents folders and everything was fine, I had a Documents folder in my D: drive.

  Then I did the same with my downloads folder and selected the location D:\

  After that, I realized that my D: drive and file downloads completely merged!

  Which means, when I went to my DATA (d :)) I could find all my downloads and My Documents folder.

  Still, when I was clicking on Downloads, My Documents folder was inside!

  So I clicked on downloads and tried to restore the default location, but I got the error message that it was impossible to "create sublists under D: System Volume Information. Access Denied» I tried to introduce the location manually, but the same thing happened.

  Now, my downloads folder has changed its name, it is called D:\ and my disk DATA (d :)) says in the location tab its default location is C:/users/downloads)

  I don't understand why this happened and that cannot be good for the functioning of my PC...

  Can I restore my system to just before that happened even if I never 'saved' my computer?

  If not, what can I do to fix this?

  I only did this for awhile and can't find my notes...

  I think that you can get the error because you are trying to get the DOWNLOADS folder... AND it's the content... This will not work because they are now scattered on D:\.

  If asked about the files, select NO, and then copy back them manually after you move downloads.

  OR... you could leave it here just temporarily, return downloads, create a folder for downloads on D: and then move again into the folder you have created. Then, cut and paste your files into it...

• Cannot restore the resolution of the laptop

  I have an old 15 "Macbook Pro mid-2010. I still mostly run for daily work snow leopard.

  I have hooked to an external monitor and experience the resolution on the external display. I used an external display several times before, but without twisting his resolution.

  Try a SMC reset. Article covers when necessary, but this will not affect anything.

  I adjusted the display sizes in order to fill out a web composition window and message on my screen and removed the unnecessary toolbars. Somehow to juggle the message form, the bar with Send and other buttons have disappeared. I rightclicked anywhere in the form to access the list of toolbars, but nothing worked, and everything I have is to, the subject and the toolbar for bold, etc.. I looked around for a way to restore the default message form, have not seen that there is a. And none of the Mozilla support Q & As were useful. So right now I have no way to send an email. HALP!   using macbook pro with os 10.7.5, was recommended to update adobe flash in firefox (22.0). did, which required closing and restarting firefox during the flash update.   I found my own solution to my problem! first of all, don't QUIT FIREFOX - to ensure this unwanted session does not become "last session".   Unfortunately, this isn't your profile folder. You saved % LocalAppData%\... but instead, you must have backed up % AppData%\...

  Disk cache contains files of web site such as pages, images, and scripts. It is practically useless for the purposes of restoring a backup.

  I highly recommend to keep good backups of your data somewhere other than the player in question. Bad sectors are not a good sign and may indicate larger problems to come.

  It is a pity that you don't l l create recovery media. It is the first step that everyone should do after the purchase of the laptop. This recovery media can be used in complicated situations.

  For some reason tool recovery doesn't have access to the recovery or recorded data recovery partition.
