• Bug hub for the Passport 10.3 Blackberry blackBerry

  I'm running a passport with OS 10.3.0.675 - or if you believe BBVE then it is 10.3.0.1052.

  When I opened the hub I see everything I'm supposed to see - including of many text messages from different senders - but when I open the side panel and select SMS it indicates that there is no provision show.  I get the same note when I access text messages from the icon on the cursor next to the home page.  I tried setting of "don't show that in a separate account don't" but then my text disappear entirely and for "hub only" option is grayed out.  Anyone else having this problem?  All the patches?

  Given that others are not having the same problem, there must be a problem in your data somewhere.  To restore you data from an older device?

  I would like to use the link to make a full backup of the device.  Then do a security wipe and do NOT restore the passage of the backup settings.  You will need to add your e-mail accounts and you won't have any old text messages.  However, you will be able to hear and see if there is a problem with the device/OS or your data.  If the problem persists then reload the operating system may be necessary.  If the problem goes away, you have found the problem.

  When you restore data settings, you will lose all data in local contacts/calendar, text messages, password keeper, do not forget (you will not lose sync contacts/calendar with an email account.)  If you have important data in the password keeper go in PK parameters and export to your SD card and you will be able to import data from back in after the wipe.

  It will take some time to do that, but it's the only way to know where the shoe pinches.

  You keep mixing up the notifications and the convos... These are different things.

  If you don't have a BBM contact, so don't expect convos appears in the HUB (since there is no active convos)... and more no notification on convos (since having a convo is a condition precedent to the receipt of the notice of one).

  Channels do not fit in the hub. So it's WAD - works as expected.

  I came across this annoying bug that I think can easily be replicated.

  I have a "BOLD" with the latest version of Messenger (downloaded today).

  Whenever I have navigate in the history of any given chat messages (i.e. the cursor is not in the box of typin) if I have the 'alt' key hiot enforcement breaks down.

  Devices to freeze for a few minutes, and then it needs a reboot to restore the application.

  It is very annoying.

  This is confirmed by thedeveloppers?

  We have axpect a patch?

  Suggestions as avoid hitting the button said not really help advance the issue I think.

  My BBM app works fine, but the sidebar function shows no contacts or the convos. I prefer to use the menu hub / side.

  I discovered the problem.  At the top of the QuickView screen, there is an arrow down which allows you to choose a subfolder BBM.  By selecting this folder, the conversations and contacts of current charges are filled in the list (which was empty).

  I have a Blackberry Q5. I never use BBM, but I can't delete it.

  Interesting... and possibly caused by different problems. I've heard of carriers blocking services BB owners by something else that their network data, but only in what concerns the devices inherited from BIS, not (yet... yours could be the first) with BB10. In addition, there are also reports of problems on certain carriers if BIS service is at all in service to your account with BB10 device... BB10 does not BIS, but sometimes they BIS is no problem, while other times that there are problems.

• BBM quiet disappointing experience so far

  I got the email on the morning of the BBM I was a registered user and I can download and start using BBM for Android.

  I downloaded the app and used my e-mail id registered to start the configuration where it took me to the login page.

  I tried to sign up for an account and post registration, it got stuck on 'Setting up BBM' and sometimes it's "temporary server error".

  Finally I got another mail of the BBM to check my email id message record, but the BBM app was still stuck on 'Setting up BBM' so I had to once more "Claire Application Data" to maintaining connection with my verified references.

  Now, when I'm in the same e-mail id to the home screen, it says that I am not registered and gives me the screen "Holding your place in line.

  In fact, it's so stupid and frustrating...

  Finally got it working, and here are my comments from the application:

  The installer took some time to download the application to actually be able to use it.

  But now that it's done, have been exploring it for 2 hours.

  The user interface looks pretty clean, has the standard color BB set.

  The application itself is good enough to use. You can quickly add a contact, exist slides of the menus to access the menu options.

  I still have to test the application by sending of attachments.

  A bug I found was everything by changing my profile picture.

  While you select an image from the Gallery, she won a different image than what I had actually chosen.

  Looks like the problem is on.

  I reinstalled the OS all over again via link BB and restore my settings. The process of a lot of time took me almost 3 hours, but it is back and working now. BBM has been updated when reinstalling the OS to 10.5.15.19.

  Yet, it shows red in the world of the BB that the app is not available for my device... Looks like a certain bug is here to be reincarnated with the next update...

• Problem with Z10 invite the blackBerry BBM

  I've started BBM, selected "invite", sent the invitation to an e-mail address.

  I hope this gets corrected when 10.1 comes out there, but in the meantime...

  There are two other members of the family with blackberries, so we thought that we would introduce a family bbm group to communicate more easily. Except, I can't join the group we did. We tried both get my phone to join an existing group (which seems never to receive the invitation for) and the creation of a new group (where the phone tells me that I have reached my maximum of bbm groups... but I have no groups, at all)

• BBM BBM needs to improve the features BBM for BB users.

  As my username says, I'm a diehard blackberry user.  While everyone has jumped ship to android, I stayed.  I loved my curve and when she started to speak in tongues (ie. type gibberish, open and close programs on its own, flip between screens) rather than switch to nokia because my rogers plan covered I paitiently waiting for the white Q10.  I still love my Q10.  I feel that BlackBerry makes excellent products that are functional and durable.  However, my problem with Blackberry is in the way they treat loyal customers.

  While all my friends got Galaxy phones... I stayed with my Q10.  When the BlackBerry has launched the bbm4all campaign... I urge all my friends to do despite initial glitches... and now I'm frustrated.  Despite being faithful and have a BB, do my part to help local businesses... I get ads and I am unable to use timed messages or retraction of message, I am unable to create a personalized PIN.  I get constant reminders to the BBM rate, but my opinion on BBM worsens when I get a an announcement from the company in the form of an invitation BBM.

  Despite having a BB and be a loyal user of BB from research in the days of movement... Why do I pay every month to access features such as message retraction which, until the OS update, I got for free?

  I am a student, I don't use BB for his safety, I use my phone to take pictures send SMS, BBMing, check the weather and occasional magic: Realms...   For non - usersm BlackBerry BB should do the following:

  • Slightly higher load ^ monthly fee for subscriptions for timed messages/photos
  • Slightly higher monthly fees for subscriptions for retraction of message
  • Require a slightly higher monthly fee for custom pins
  • Slightly higher monthly fees for the removal of ads

  BlackBerry should do the following, as a thank you to those who is loyal as me...

  • Delete subscriptions in the next version of BBM
  • Allow unlimited timed messages and timed free photos
  • Allow the free unlimited message retraction
  • Make pine customized a tax only once
  • Remove ads for free in the next version of BBM

  Due to the ratio of BB users for users non - BB, I think Blackberry skimp on about $24annually * / user BB would be worth when trading for an increase of the customer satisfaction.

  Loyalists slept with Blackberry through everything and I think that the company sometimes forget that without BB users there would not have been a business today.  I think Blackberry users BB treatment does not reflect the dedication that we showed the company and I don't think what is right.  Please like this post if you agree.
