  I read that the rendering engine for Mac is (or was) ATSUI while Microsoft use Uniscribe (which may be more compatible with the Adobe software) but all my computers are Mac.

  I tested with Illustrator CC - 2014 PC with preferences > Type > Language Options > Show CL Options enabled and it seems to work fine. View Adobe Devanagari is assigned by default. (same result with Illustrator CC-2014 on Mac with Yosemite 10.10.3). It also works with Sanskrit 2003, which seems to be the font used in the online sample.

  I use Illustrator CS5.1 on an iMac, I work on 10.9 Mavericks and now the cursor to cross / / tools have almost dissappeared to a tinted gray /faint, will I have to wait for a fix from Adobe or Apple or is it something in the preferences I can click to solve make?

  Any help would be appreciated, otherwise I have to continue to press my nose against the screen and squint my eyes to see where I paint and design, it's not a pretty sight.

  To inform you that after update of the Illustrator tools today Mavericks 10.9.1 has now been corrected.

  Hello! I just picked up a new work computer (it's a brand new IMac) and it works great except that it won't save my illustrator documents, which is a problem, since all my work is made of illustrator documents. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program, but when I went to download Illustrator CS5, I get the following error message:

  'Install' is corrupted and cannot be opened. You must eject the disk image.

  'Install' is on the "DesignStandard_CS5_LS1 - 5.dmg" disk image

  Safari has downloaded this disk image today at 09:34 from trials3.adobe.com.

  My company bought Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Standard before I started working here and has always the serial number and the drive, but my new IMac is not a hard drive.

  I am at a loss to know what to do, and I need to get back to work! I talked with Adobe support, and they me redirected here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  You can only buy it used (which is dangerous due to fraud)

  Illustrator CS5 is 32-bit and Windows 10 is a 64-bit OS, unstable kind of compatibility (as appropriate).

  Illustrator CS5 is not officially supported on Windows 10 and there are not too many people in this forum has been to get it to run, so you're basically on the search of your own stuff.

  I just installed 10 windows on my computer (I have windows 7), but illustrator does not work, you open the charger, but does not open the program.

  Exactly as indicated by our MVP, compatibility issues hit blindly and it is not very rare that one of your apps (PS) works in this case well and I is not. Suggest you to upgrade.
