Bug or error during the handling of leap years with WDS/DS
Hi allI discovered a difference in results with the construction and to debug (without frame) and generate and debug with the revisions of Web or server of determinations when calculating the days in leap years.
I use the DayDifferenceInclusive function to calculate the number of days in a period of insurance.
the number of days of insurance period = DayDifferenceInclusive (the start date of the insurance, the date of the end of insurance)
With the tester of regression or generation and debugging (without frame), I get the following result for the following entry:
* 93 = DayDifferenceInclusive (02-29-2008, 05-31-2008) *.
When we use the revisions of Web or server of determinations we get the value of * 92 * for exactly the same data entry when it should be 93.
Is this a bug in the java code? How can we fix this or is there a work around it?
We are in the middle of integration testing system for a huge project to help is very appreciated!

Thanks for that - and it seems that in the Netherlands DST began March 30, 2008, that is, as far as I know, the trigger for this error.
I have reproduced the issue against 10.1 using the period from 1st October 2010 to 30 October 2010, which contains the date this summer time began in Australia.
Regarding the ways to work around the problem, I can offer 3:
* wait 10.2 - it is in beta at the moment (but given your opening remarks, may not be an option for you)
* set your locale of the server to that which has no DST
* work around the issue in the rules:
First of all, the question is that the retail version fails because it does not realize that one of these days is shorter than the standard 24 hours.
The trick is to replace the DayDifference function with the HourDifference function and round up the number of days.
Thus given a rule that looks like:
result = DayDifference (date one, date two)
It can be rewritten in the form:
The result = round (HourDifference (one at 00:00:00, date two to 00:00:00) / 24, 0)
* the "at 00:00:00 ' is necessary because HourDifference works on dates/hours, not dates.

This seems to happen for any operation of XML that returns an XMLTYPE: EXTRACT, UPDATEXML, INSERTCHILDXML, etc.
It is a database bug which I believe has been fixed in 11.2.0.4 and 12cR1

Error during the deployment of a process with the FTP adapter

I use JDev 10.1.3.3 and SOA 10.1.3.3
I use the FTP adapter to get a file from a remote site in a vacuum process.
I checked the option to delete logical files and using directory.
While deployed, I get the error below.

Hi I have a constant problem I have no idea how fix it. I have Windows Vista Home premium loaded and it works very well when it is running. I can restart the laptop several times and it starts perfectly, if I turn it off for an hour or two and go to start it always happens with a different error during the startup sequence. Most of the time I just go to start Windows normally and it loads, other times I have to go to the ERD.
I uninstalled Vista and wipe the system well before reloading (using another drive) and the same thing happens. Would it be more likely to be hardware related? I know the battery charges well and I ran all the tools that Vista has to check the hard drive, so I don't know where to go next.
Any help would be appreciated.

The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?
You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?
You use some CD to access this Panel of Microsoft recovery where this "no profile" option is? I don't know what all this means if it isn't some CD shipped with your system, in which case, I would use it for a coaster instead of something to fix your system.
If the c:\windows\system32\rpcrt4.dll file is missing or afflicted, you do not start in the last good known Configuration.
You also will not start in any kind of Mode safe no more.
Even if you could boot mode safe, you would find that sfc/scannow does not work in Mode without failure in all cases (never). If you try it, you'll see a message like this:
Windows file protection could not initiate a scan of protected system files.
The specific error code is 0x000006ba [the RPC server is unavailable.].

I can't recreate your error exactly, but it is easy to replace the rpcrt4.dll file. Looks like you have a working CD drive, so put yourself a Hiren boot CD and when you started on this, you can copy your precious files to a USB device for safety.
There should be a backup copy of rpcrt4.dll already on your system, here or here:

c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386
You need to rename or replace the rpcrt4.dll file which is in c:\windows\system32 and replace it with one you will find the backup copies.
