I noticed that riwTDBup.sh called sets in environment in $INST_HOME/ora/10.1.2/ and then tries to start a receiver located at $INST_HOME/ora/10.1.2/network/admin - this is where I see that no listener has been created. A tnsnames.ora is there but no listener. So I went to $ADMIN_SCRIPTS and I try to manually start the receiver and although his place as well and it is said that there is no listener for APPS_VIS. How is it, my interlocutor is not be created and can someone tell me what am I did not right, why it is constantly at the end of the installation.   I'm mad at myself. After having sitting just think and get back to the basics... Why my application server cannot connect to my database, especially after the fact that I did this install successfully before? After decision on the fact that both servers could talk to each other, a light bulb off, I knew it was something blocking the connection and then I thought about it. LOL, that was the firewalls. I deleted the application server and restart installation with two disabled firewalls and it worked even fix the error of libgcc_s.so, installing crossed without errors at all, everything was fine with my host and domain name. LOL, I can finally say that I can install Oracle EBS R12.1 without errors.

  Even if it took my whole weekend, I wouldn't change a thing. I learned so much troubleshooting idea, funny how you can look in hindsight and appreciate the growing pains. Next upgrade of database and applications, then learn how to install Rac and how to install EBS on rac and Oracle EBS on PAP management, if you have any suggestions on where to go to learn these things it would be awesome!

  Step 1 & 2 are completed successfully. But in step 3, when I add version control, an error message appears.

  File-> Version Control-> add to version control-> connector Sharepoint RoboHelp-> Ok-> enter Sharepoint site-> test the connection

  We have something strange.
  We have installed just BIA 7.9.5.1 with informatica 8.1.1 sp5 on windows server 2003.
  And confiugered it according to the manual.
  
  Now, we want to set up the connection between the dac and informatica services, but we cannot make a connection when the DAC server is running. When we press on test connection it says "Please wait... "but it's for almost an hour now."
  Now when you stop the dac connect to informatica_dw_server Server works fine.
  The connection with the informatica_rep_server also, also works at the dac server starts.
  
  What have we done so far:
  -We can run pmcmd and pmrep from the command line
  -We have added the/server/bin and/client/bin directory to the path
  -We have added the infa_domains_file system variable
  -We checked the file server dac config.bat
  -We checked port in the adminconsole (i.e. 4001)
  -We rebooted everything (all services and windows server as well)
  -When we try netstat, we see that it is listening on port 4001

  A possible scenario would be to have an ADSL PPPoE connection for your primary link and a secondary dial-up link.  So if a DNS lookup fails because the PPPoE connection is not completely connected to the Internet Windows would try to use the link to remote access instead of doing whatever it was necessary to wait for the first to work.  Even after the PPPoE connection is fully established, it would be always possible to have no research to trigger a second test on the remote access link.  A solution would be to delete or disable the link to remote access.  In any case an average minimum of change the symptom would be to change the connections settings never compose...

  The problem seems to be related to the use of an event inside a timed loop structure.

  Call loops are designed to be run in certain time intervals, while program alsways waits on the structure of the event inside the loop until an event occurs. These two behaviors are strictly opposed to each other, which could cause problems in this particular case.

  Replace call loops with while loops, seems to solve the problem

  The problem from the beginning has been a problem with my antivirus AVG and youtube, the problem has been the accelerator of AVG, I had to turn it off to make the problem disappear, now I can watch YouTube peacefully

  I created a movie that load various media using loadMovie(), then in many cases performs actions on the newly loaded MCs once loading is completed. I rely on getBytesLoaded and getBytesTotal to know when to perform these actions.
  
  This works very well when the content is on the same server as the film, but I also need to load content from another domain and this is where it falls apart. The media actually does very well in the target MCs, but never make the functions that need to be running when the loading is complete. The problem is that getBytesLoaded() and getBytesTotal() both return nothing when the content is loaded from another domain.
  
  I'm stuck with loadMovie and getBytesLoaded/getBytesTotal as this film must be published for Flash Player 6, but I actually tried to use loadClip() and onLoadInit() and I get the same problem - onLoadInit() never works.
  
  Another weird thing is that test by displaying a flash preview is not displayed this problem - the content of fines and getBytesLoaded and getBytesTotal loads two values to return as expected. It's only when I publish the film and display in a browser I have this problem.
