Bugs of Internet Backgammon

1. when another player closes and the computer resumes, the computer plays a horrible game of backgammon. It's not worth playing. They are working to improve this?

2. There is no way to exit the game without loss - as if I'm quiting. I tried left click, right click, click on anything that it is clickable remotely and not,- and doing so at all points after a game ends or begins a new. All I get is the message it will count as a loss in my statistics. When will be that fixed?

3 what the hell these statistics are? How can we see them?

  • MS Internet Backgammon cheats

I have a master's degree in statistics (so I have a minimum of awareness concerning the probabilities by rolling a pair of dice) and played competitive Backgammon since 1975. There is no doubt that complaints under the headings such as "internet backgammon cheats" are specific comments. I said there are also sites where a player can go to download cheat programs. When we are well ahead in a game and a double would be intelligently refused, but is accepted by the opponent and that player then communicates "good luck" and subsequently rolling 5 or 6 double rooms in a line, something is wrong. I also noticed, after reading complaints contributed, a player can, and don't, pips move more than the number rolled on the dice. Several times, but not always, you see an indication of a cheat when the cat has been turned off. They are so ignorant that they believe that if they can see your message 'not yet' or 'it's your turn"that he is not sent. Whatever, it isCERTAINLY a GREAT NUMBER OF CHEATERS. A 'normal' game of backgammon has simply not 5 to 10 double rooms, rolled by the same player. This means no never happens, but not with the regularity, he lives in MS Internet Backgammon. It has been a pleasure for me to spend a few moments of free time to play. Now, it's just aggrivating and not interesting dealing with opponents who know they can't compete without cheating. Why not add a level of players to the current 'Expert', 'Intermediate' and 'beginner '...  "Dummies" for cheaters have a chance to win legitimately? I don't know what the so-called "cheat codes" do or how they work. Microsoft loses much of it's technical edge, they cannot find a "solution". What every time that a player running a correction (cheat) code, it gets moved out of the site with a note "you have been dismantled as a cheater. Too easy?

I agree, it seems that there are people cheating.  That's why I looked at "Cheating on possible internet backgammon."

On the other hand, I'm not one of the most intelligent (I play because I can't sleep) and I could not understand how to cheat if I tried, but I always got the rollers that make it impossible for the other player have a fair chance.  It of a shame too because I like a good game to the end, win or lose.  Looks like an enigma. I wonder how the computer evolves upwards from the side.  Sometimes I wonder if I'm even playing real people.

  • Internet Backgammon no work, receive error message: "a network error occurred during communication with the game server.

Original title: All of a sudden internet backgammon works not

Just your portable Windows 7 computer base. Everything worked well. Started playing internet backgammon... has won EACH game Yes! Took a break for an hour or so... came back and now have message saying a problem to connect to the internet game server.  Someone knows what's the problem?  What it says is specifically "a network error occurred when communicating with the game server". That the devil which means?

    Hello

    1. what browser do you use?

2 are you facing the same issue with other games like asset stings on the internet?

I suggest you follow these methods and check.

Method 1: You can check if the problem appears in a clean boot state.

    Refer to this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

If the problem is solved, check which service non-Microsoft is the source of the problem; referring to article and following the other steps.

Note: After you check the clean boot feature configure Windows to use a Normal startup using step 7 proposed in the above mentioned link.

Method 2: Temporarily disable the security software and check if the game works very well.

Refer to this link: turn off the antivirus software

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

When you disable the Antivirus: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 3: If the previous step fails, temporarily disable the Windows Firewall and check if the game works very well.

Refer to this link: turn enable or disable Windows Firewall

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

Note: After checking the functionality enable the Windows Firewall.

    I hope this helps!

  • Hang up my Internet Backgammon when looking for players, how to fix?

When I start Microsoft Internet Backgammon he connects to the server and then he hangs up when "looking for other players. Just before that, I was playing asset stings on the Internet and I pushed a player and shortly after I was "disconnected". I don't have the error code. I then launched Microsoft Internet Backgammon and that's where problems began. I tried to turn on/off (uninstalling and reinstalling) this feature of Windows. I checked that my internet speed is enough (more than 56 Kbps, mine was 54 Mbit/s). I tried to renew my IP address. I even tried a system restore to an earlier time. Nothing seems to work. How to solve this problem?

    Hello

Do you have an error message when it disconnects?

  • After the latest updates from Microsoft, my Internet Backgammon supplied with Windows 7 no longer works. It is a dead link and the game opens same. That's happened?

I like to play trump stings on Internet and Internet Backgammon that's installed with Windows 7, Home Premium edition.  However, after the automatic updates installed yesterday, I noticed that the link to play the Internet Backgammon is no longer works.  It's just a dead link.  I can click on it, but nothing happens.  Not even an ounce of trying to open.  It's just 'died '.  I can still play trump stings on the Internet and I have no trouble to access the internet, so I wonder if this is just a small problem or do you have Microsoft remove Internet Backgammon as one of its windows games?  Note, this is Internet Backgammon that is installed on the computer, in the folder games - it is NOT the version of backgammon on MSN that you actually go to the internet and to play.  I am referring to the one in the Games folder, which is installed with Windows 7.  I play this game almost every day, so I hope that it will be restored.  I wish there was a way to contact Microsoft about this, but there isn't and they charge, then...

  • A bug in Internet Explorer?

    Hello

Can someone tell me what is it?

I saw and heard this announcement on CNN today:

"A new bug in Internet Explorer allows hackers to commandeer your computer."

Then, he gives a link to access the site for more information. That's what I get from this link:

That's how it works: hackers set up a Web site that installs malware when you visit. If you are fooled by visiting the Web site using the Internet Explorer program, malware infiltrates your computer and gives total control by a stranger. You can even notice.

"I would say that someone taking control of your computer is just the beginning of the worst case scenario," said Adrian Sanabria, an expert with security 451research.com . "Because then they steal your information, access your email, etc"

Right: Cyber Insurance bridges the gap between physical and digital

That's where the real danger lies. Anyone in control of your computer can spy on everything you do. If it's a PC at work, hackers can reach what to what an employee has access.

It's worse for those who use Windows XP, because Microsoft does not support this operating system with security patches. For them, Microsoft said: upgrading to Windows 7 or 8.1 GB.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security recommends that people abandon Internet Explorer until there is a patch - or install Special software in the meantime instead.

But this bug is more pervasive than it looks. Many machines use Windows - Bank ATMs, point of sale, seats restaurant tools - and Internet Explorer is their default browser. If hackers manage to send them to a bad Web site, that the machine is now under their control. It won't be easy, but it is possible.

"You do not as a Windows PC running the software," said Paco Hope, consultant at the software security firm Cigital . He advises companies to speak to salespeople to determine the vulnerability they are.

Because that this attack is based on few of the additional features of Internet Explorer, there is a relatively easy fix: just disable them. FireEye advise to disable the Adobe ()ADBE() Flash plugin. While Microsoft is working on fixing the bug, its engineers suggest your browser runs in Mode 'Enhanced Protect.' But experts say computer that will probably ruin your experience online.

To disable the Flash plugin in Internet Explorer, click "Tools" and then "Manage Add-ons."

That is why the simplest solution is to simply abandon Internet Explorer and use another browser, said Marius Buterchi with the antivirus software manufacturer BitDefender . This attack does not affect other Web browsers such as Google ()GOOG, Fortune 500) Chrome, Mozilla FireFox or Apple (),AAPL, Fortune 500) , Safari.

This type of attack is particularly bad, because it affects all versions of the Web of IE6 by IE11 browser. It's more than half of browsers currently in use right now, according to the Web Analytics site NetMarketShare.

This is not the first time hackers use modules like Flash to attack computers. But this hack, first publicly disclosed by FireEye in a blog post Saturday, has been described as a 'zero-day '. This means that the attack is a unique technique, never seen before - a particularly dangerous vulnerability, because it has not yet been patched.

  • Have a bug with Internet Explorer 7

I am trying to create a special datagrid to store the new Member of a project (the interface is to create a new project). I am able to open a cfwindow if the user wants to add a new Member in the datagrid control. The cfwindow will consist of a form of 3 cfselects (member type, name of the Member and the Member's role). Once the user send the form, it keep the new Member in a special table as a temporary table (it's the way I found to play with several generation of information while having everything in one page instead of having several steps to create a new project).

In any case, when the user clicks on the button send the cfwindow, the application will save the new Member, update the datagrid control in the parent window and close the cfwindow. It makes me very nervous, I wasn't able to accomplish successfully the part until I decided to try with Firefox and see what says the Firebug functionality on any problem. Rather than see a problem, I saw a success! I picked up in IE7, the problem persists. The problem is when the form is submitted, the cfwindow was just the main window and is not a cfwindow, while Firefox can deal with sending, the updating of the datagrid in the teacher/parent window and the cfwindow closes correctly.

Someone has an idea to fix that we live with this? I'm not comfortable with this bug and to be honest, I would have preferred the opposite because we are Microsoft Partner and the company wants to use - whenever possible - product from Microsoft, including Internet Explorer. It's not my decision because I love Firefox but it's something I have to deal with!

I understand the code of the CFWindow only the main window contains a lot of code that it is out of this range, because there is no associated problem at present.

    Thanks for any help.

    Cyber,

I tried to work with cfwindow before I was getting a lot of errors with IE and then I found a perfect solution CF_WINDOW custom tag. I tell you it's great and it's free! Also focus on tag, you might find a few solutions in there!
