• I have bee receives all types of error codes while playing internet backgammon. Who stops the game and I have to restart with a new opponet often. error messages

  My problems are with the error codes that appear in an internet backgammon game.  It's so frustrating especially when you win.  It gives you the possibility of new opponet or quit smoking.  I have received several different error codes, not just one.  What is the problem here.  Desperately love the game not the codes.  I'm a sore loser who sends these codes or what?

  Just your portable Windows 7 computer base. Everything worked well. Started playing internet backgammon... has won EACH game Yes!   2 are you facing the same issue with other games like asset stings on the internet?

  I suggest you follow these methods and check.

  Method 1: You can check if the problem appears in a clean boot state.

  If the problem is solved, check which service non-Microsoft is the source of the problem; referring to article and following the other steps.

  Note: After you check the clean boot feature configure Windows to use a Normal startup using step 7 proposed in the above mentioned link.

   

  Method 2: Temporarily disable the security software and check if the game works very well.

• After the latest updates from Microsoft, my Internet Backgammon supplied with Windows 7 no longer works. It is a dead link and the game opens same. That's happened?

  I like to play trump stings on Internet and Internet Backgammon that's installed with Windows 7, Home Premium edition.  However, after the automatic updates installed yesterday, I noticed that the link to play the Internet Backgammon is no longer works.  It's just a dead link.  I can click on it, but nothing happens.  Not even an ounce of trying to open.  It's just 'died '.  I can still play trump stings on the Internet and I have no trouble to access the internet, so I wonder if this is just a small problem or do you have Microsoft remove Internet Backgammon as one of its windows games?  Note, this is Internet Backgammon that is installed on the computer, in the folder games - it is NOT the version of backgammon on MSN that you actually go to the internet and to play.  I am referring to the one in the Games folder, which is installed with Windows 7.  I play this game almost every day, so I hope that it will be restored.  I wish there was a way to contact Microsoft about this, but there isn't and they charge, then...

  There is a cheat of backgmmon area of msn that allow a player to stall the game then put the timer against his opponent. It happened to me 5 times in the last ten days.

  1- Reader (A) use the cheat against player (B).

  2- Reader (A) crash the game.

  3- Player (B) try to force the (A) Player to play by clicking on info player then the yes button to force the player (A) clock to start but nothing happens.

  4- It shows that he's a player (A) to make a move but the timer does not start.

  5- Player (B) still waiting for the (A) Player to make his move, and I was wondering why player timer (A) has not started!

  6- Reader (A) indicates the player (B) that the dog has eaten the timer.

  7- Player (B) expired instead! and losing the game despite the fact that it was the turn of the player (A) to make a move and player (B) could do nothing to stop this cheat.

  Microsoft is going to do anything on this subject? Maybe I should start looking for other gaming sites?

  This has happened more than 10 years now, it will never be fixed. About 1 in every 10 matches with the ranks more than 2100, you will meet a cheater. That's what I'm doing...

  1. never play against 'Guest' - they use comments because they are blocked by as many players now.

  2. when we know that they are cheaters, add them to your list "do not match.

  3. exit the game and never approach again this loser pathetic.

  Help improve the community of backgammon in losing graciously and never stall. The person you are playing is not responsible for the roles they get.  If everyone stops, you follow the same steps above. If EVERYONE did this losers play only each other in a very short time.

  P.S. The dice are random, they act exactly like real although sometimes the roles seem incredible. If you play enough with real of you will realize this.

• Internet backgammon is a mess

  I tried all the suggestions to resolve the 0.80041006 error code.  He always reports that a network error has occurred.  I think the problem is at Microsoft.   It is intermittent.   Does anyone know of a good backgammon program?

  By visiting the programs and features, I found that all the necessary boxes having been checked.  In Program files, I find Microsoft Games that had a subfolder namely multiplayer and which contained the reference to three games. The only problem is that the application files, for example, bckgzm, had 0KB.  The update is displayed as 10 13, 2015 at 14:15.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Problem solved by using sfc scannow from the command prompt. Backgammon, checkers and spade the missing or corrupt files restored.

  1. when another player closes and the computer resumes, the computer plays a horrible game of backgammon. It's not worth playing. They are working to improve this?
