  If your computer is equipped with a CD or DVD burner, you can copy files to a recordable disc. This process is called burning a disc. By default, Windows Burns discs in the active file system format, but you can also choose to burn discs in ISO image format.

  NoteYou can use Windows to burn a data disc, which is useful for storing, archiving, and sharing files among different computers. If you want to make a disc that will play in a music or video player, you should burn the disc using a video program or music.

  Burn a disc by using the live file system format

  1. Insert a writable CD or DVD CD writer or DVD in your computer. 2. In the dialog box that appears, click burn files to data disc. 3. In the dialog box burn a disc , type a name for this disc, and then click Next. It can take several minutes for the drive to be formatted in the active file system format by default. When formatting is complete, an empty disc folder opens. 4. Open the folder that contains the files to burn and then drag the files into the empty disc folder.

  When you drag files to the disc folder, they are automatically copied to the disk.

  To burn a disc to ISO image, you will need free space on your hard disk equal to the capacity of the disk. For a typical CD, it is approximately 650 megabytes (MB). If you select the files to burn but decide not to copy the files on disk, you can delete the temporary files to recover hard disk space. To remove the files, open the disc folder, select the files, and then, in the toolbar, click delete temporary files.

• DVD and CD burning problems. "There was a problem burning this disc."

  My Windows 7 64-bit is used to burn CDs and DVDs fine, but has developed a problem burning CD, DVD and Blu - ray using the software's built-in windows.  Both drives burn perfectly well using third-party software 3rd IMGburn, that leads me to conclude that this is a specific Windows problem.

  I have two drives, one is an Asus DRW-24B1ST CD/DVD burner and the other is a cd/dvd/blu-ray burner Lite-On iHBS112.  No reader is going to burn any type of disc as controlled, that is to say: "with a CD/DVD drive.  The only way a disc will burn, but if I select 'like a USB flash drive"I don't want to do.

I can't eject the disc somehow, the program is obviously still running. My only and last resort, is to "shut down" for 8 seconds. When I restart, go to Explorer and touching "eject" in the DVD player, the disc ejects immediately, but is of course totally empty! I tried each "fix" I do not see in forums etc. nothing works. I ran Microsoft 'Fixit' again without success. Help please!

  It may be interesting to try to publish (save) the project of a
  folder on your drive hard in the. Film WMV format.

  If it works... then import it. File WMV in DVD Maker.
