    Hi Uncle mango.

    1. don't you restore the computer back to factory settings?

If you have not restored the computer to factory settings, we recommend that you restore the settings of Windows DVD maker to factory default settings such as audio and video filters sometimes cause this problem.

Video and audio filters are programs that are installed on your computer that help interpret video files so that they will display and play correctly. Windows Movie Maker uses them when you import video and audio.

To restore settings, try the following steps.
    A. open Windows DVD maker.
    B. click on tools, then click Options.
    C. click on the Compatibility tab.
    D. do one of the following:
    > To turn off a filter, clear the check box next to the name of the video filter.
    > To turn on a filter, select the check box next to the name of the video filter.
    > To restore the default list, click on restore all default values.
    E. restart DVD maker and burn a new DVD to check if the problem persists.

When you restore the default settings, the list and the filters settings are given to the last known good setting.

  • How to burn a video DVD so it will run on Blu - Ray player?

I worked on a video for the 70th anniversary of my mom for months now in items 14.1 first.  The video was made, but can't burn.  I am able to burn AVCHD format and watch it on two of my Blu - ray players.  However, when I burn the video in DVD format, it will not play on one of my Blu - Ray players.  Here's what I've done for troubleshooting:

-I can play other DVDs made House (made by others in previous versions of items) on R-media.

-J' changed my DVD burner for the region of the United States and re-burnt, but that it was not fixed.

-J' went through the specifications for one of my Blu - Ray players and it supports DVD-video on media r region 1 (US).

    -J' tried Verbatim-r and + R + R and HP media.

-I can also run the DVD on my computer.

-J' have opened the files on my computer and see the open DVD and Video_TS folders. I see the following files in Video_TS:

    VIDEO_TS. BUP

    VIDEO_TS. IFO

    VIDEO_TS

    VTS_01_0.BUP

    VTS_01_0, IFO

    VTS_01_0

    VTS_01_1

The problem is that I am showing the video in a few days (in another State) and have already been told that the facility has a DVD player at low prices.  Help, please.

Suppose you are in the USA your framerate or 29.97 and 720 x 480 (NTSC)

720 x 576 PAL European East, if this is the setting you have chosen which is the reason why you can not play on a standalone. A computer plays everything.

  • Standard video DVD burn Format...?

I tried just my first burn some videos home with first Elements 10 64-bit DVD.  For help on the part of > disk > preset DVD I have a DVD with a computer or a folder/file structure that won't play on my DVD player Blu - Ray player...

DVD (which will play on my TV) have a "Video_TS" folder with IFO, BUP and VOB files.  However, I found myself with a disc containing files AC3, M2V and XMP first Elements 10 instead.

First Elements 10 will burn a video DVD Standard which has the structure correct Ffichier/folder to read in a player set top DVD connected to my TV?  If Yes, what is the trick?

This is my first time using Premiere Elements, so I don't know that I forgot something.

Try using the option to burn the folder making sure you specify an empty folder. Once completed this folder can be tested with DVD playback software and/or written on DVD using something like the excellent ImgBurn(free).

If this works correctly we can study so why you can't burn directly to DVD.

    See you soon,.

Thank you for the important troubleshooting information.

You put too much on a single disc DVD spec'd to 4.7 GB / 120 minutes and compromise the quality of the final product NTSC DVD-VIDEO on a DVD disc widescreen by doing this. You should work with a not too much lower than the max 8.00 Mbps throughput. If you want to try to get everything on a single DVD disk and your Player supports DVD disc double layer, then use a DVD disc double layer in burn it to disc. The DVD double layer is spec'd to 8.5 GB / 240 minutes. That might work for you.

Your chances for a better quality product are significantly increased by

    1. divide the project on two discs DVD-R 4.7 GB / 120 minutes

    or

    2 put the project on a DVD-R disc 8.5 GB / 240 minutes.

If you try the project two discs DVD-R 4.7 GB / 120 minutes, consider the following scenario. Take your project current 2 hours and 9 minutes and make a copy of it (first elements Editor File Menu/save a copy). Then the copy to change the contents of the 1/2 and burn the rest with a menu appropriate to disk. With the other copy, modify the content of 1/2 and burn the rest with a menu on the disc.

But I suspect that the of DVD double-layer disc should be your answer if your Player supports. Most should.

If please consider and let me know if you see problems in the proposed plan.

    Thank you.

  • Still fragile Adobe video when it is burned on a DVD

I am in adobe, creating a Menu System.  The menu system is linked to a video which is a first MPEG2, quicktime, even exported.  I tried exported in the format of H.264, first with no luck.  Whenever I have burn the video on a DVD of reminder, it becomes extremely fragile when played. I tried also exports it in 1920by720p, 720by480p and 480by36. the video still seems to be fragile when it is burned on a DVD. Does anyone know of a sollution to this problem?  Thank you.

Export to mpeg2-dvd to first. Use a preset or set manually.  If the source is HD value upper field or source is progressive, assign him to any field.

Import a film, do menu and burn.

  • Burn movie to DVD disc DVD5

    Hello

I have a movie file that is in the format DVD5

My computer is a MacBook Pro running Yosemite.

After I burn this movie to a DVD disc I can not play because it consists of many other files and they are not recognizable and etc.

I used the HandBreake converter that converted the movie in m4v format. After that, it wasn't a problem to burn and watch the movie.

My question: Mac has some utility or the trick that would burn DVD5 format directly to the disc and play without problem?

In other words: DVD5 file have I always convert first before burning?

    Thank you

As far as I can tell DVD5 is based on the amount of data on a DVD, nothing to do with the film format. In this regard, it's like you asking, "I have a word on a piece of paper, how I put on a piece of paper?

Most likely your film is in a video DVD format. Open with a DVD player.  There is no conversion utilities that are native to the Mac, since with the exception of the home videos just about every movie conversion involves an illegal measure.

  • Handset video / DVD - ROM works with the output directly to disk

    Hi all

I have produced a combined video / DVD-ROM and have many problems with the release:

    1. when I write the project directly to a DVD, everything is ok

But in my current project, I wanted to write the project to a folder on the hard drive (just to send a master copy online)...

    2. when I write the project to a folder on the hard disk, the video_ts is ok, but data (html with 8 related videos) will not play correct: on the start page, there is a video-slider with preview-pictures, which are related to the videos. The cursor does not show the preview images...

Question: Which again in my data? I thought, still only Copy files. But oviously, yet transmitted data by writing on the hard disk in a different way, just by writing on the DVD. Someone at - it experience with this situation?

3 another problem: when I replaced the section of incorrect data on the folder on the hard drive with the accurate data of the correct output of DVD - ROM section, everything is ok - when I open the files in the folder on the hard drive. But when I burn a DVD with this mixture, my DVD Player cannot play this DVD. I compared this DVD with the correct DVD and didn't recognize any difference. In particular, there is a folder video_ts correct on two DVDs

Again, the question is: which again with the data? Respectively, which makes it a readable DVD / not readable by DVD players.

Someone at - it an idea, what's not here?

    Best regards

    Markus

    Hi Markus,.

Exactly HOW you burn the file to the hard drive on a DVD? So simply burn the VIDEO_TS folder on disk in the form of DATA, that's why it does not work in the DVD player. To be a legal-spec DVD compatible with set-top players, DVD must be burned as 'DVD Video'. The files are arranged in a certain way on the drive, there is maybe a flag on the disc, which indicates that it is 'DVD Video', etc.

Add any DVD-Rom content in yet, then try to build an IMAGE file (.iso) of reminder rather than a 'folder' on the hard drive. Use any burning software that allows a .iso as a source and will create a good DVD. Or use a free program like "ImageBurn" and select "Video DVD" when you save the file on the disk if you want to continue using the method of the folder. But I don't think you can add more data in the VIDEO_TS folder where it is saved on the hard drive, only add content in yet.

I think VLC Media Player will play DVD file .iso if my memory is

It will read fine data disks, but refuses to play with the audio CD or video DVD.

    I tried to uninstall & Re-Installing DVD - RAM Driver;
That got rid of the "IO error" that I received, unfortunately I don't notice the full error: S.
He now just doesn't see the drive. Someone at - it ideas?

I did a full windows update, and the Toshiba Diagnostic util tell me anything useful except "Fail" :(

I found a thread in this forum that describes a similar theme:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=19747&MessageID=72404

Sometimes this error is displayed because the player does not support the environment.
Always it is every way is supported by readers and I think that in the user manual, you will find an index CDs or DVDs compatible

Maybe the drive is defective and can not calibrate lens in the right position.
But this laptop is not very old, and I can't imagine that the drive is defective
    However, nothing is impossible.

What you can do is to carefully clean the lens and see that it will help.

I have a Satellite L30-113. Recently my driver failed for my dvd player, until I was able to install a few things and burn CDs and DVDs. Now, I can't record CDs or DVDs.

Nero and CDBurnerXP for CD/DVD ROM say 'cannot continue burning process as you did not choose the device for recording. CD/DVD ROM propities shows that it does not support recording CDs and DVDs.

I uninstalled the driver and restarted my computer and it reinstalled the same as that which does not once again. I am a driver update search and xp tells me that the driver is up-to-date. I checked the Toshiba updates with none of these updates for CD/DVD ROM.
