Standard video DVD burn Format...?

I tried just my first burn some videos home with first Elements 10 64-bit DVD.  For help on the part of > disk > preset DVD I have a DVD with a computer or a folder/file structure that won't play on my DVD player Blu - Ray player...

DVD (which will play on my TV) have a "Video_TS" folder with IFO, BUP and VOB files.  However, I found myself with a disc containing files AC3, M2V and XMP first Elements 10 instead.

First Elements 10 will burn a video DVD Standard which has the structure correct Ffichier/folder to read in a player set top DVD connected to my TV?  If Yes, what is the trick?

This is my first time using Premiere Elements, so I don't know that I forgot something.

Try using the option to burn the folder making sure you specify an empty folder. Once completed this folder can be tested with DVD playback software and/or written on DVD using something like the excellent ImgBurn(free).

If this works correctly we can study so why you can't burn directly to DVD.

See you soon,.

  • Creating Windows DVD - burning is not the whole video

    Hello

Hoping someone may be able to provide me with assistance.

I added successfully 4 VTS_01 film of video files in a project using create DVD Windows, using windows Vista. I entered all the information and personalized menu to suit me. I then run the preview everything seems very well the film will play form beginning to end.

    Now hear is my problem.

When I burn the project to a disk, it will go through the movements of code and finally burn to the disc. Once it is finished burning, the disc is ejected.

I'm going to play in my DVD Player menus I have made show the 4 files ok and I play the movie. But he will play only the first 28 minutes of the film. I tried selecting other scenes that won't play in the menu of the scene and yet it just starts at the beginning and only run 28 minuets and start over.

I tried to use the DVD + RW 4.7 GB and DVD-R DL 8.5 GB think my film can now be too big once I added the menu, that's why I tried the 8.5 GB. The film was initially recorded on the DVD + RW 4.7 GB until I ran across Windows DVD Maker. The original plays very well.

There are no problems with the discs, burner or DVD play as I have tried several, also tested incentive.

Is there something I'm not directly in the program? Believe if the files are not compatible at all why would be him coming up in Windows DVD Maker and I would like to twick the menu and burn?

Hoping someone can help as my film is really great on the preview.

  • How to burn a video DVD so it will run on Blu - Ray player?

I worked on a video for the 70th anniversary of my mom for months now in items 14.1 first.  The video was made, but can't burn.  I am able to burn AVCHD format and watch it on two of my Blu - ray players.  However, when I burn the video in DVD format, it will not play on one of my Blu - Ray players.  Here's what I've done for troubleshooting:

-I can play other DVDs made House (made by others in previous versions of items) on R-media.

-J' changed my DVD burner for the region of the United States and re-burnt, but that it was not fixed.

-J' went through the specifications for one of my Blu - Ray players and it supports DVD-video on media r region 1 (US).

    -J' tried Verbatim-r and + R + R and HP media.

-I can also run the DVD on my computer.

-J' have opened the files on my computer and see the open DVD and Video_TS folders. I see the following files in Video_TS:

    VIDEO_TS. BUP

    VIDEO_TS. IFO

    VIDEO_TS

    VTS_01_0.BUP

    VTS_01_0, IFO

    VTS_01_0

    VTS_01_1

The problem is that I am showing the video in a few days (in another State) and have already been told that the facility has a DVD player at low prices.  Help, please.

Suppose you are in the USA your framerate or 29.97 and 720 x 480 (NTSC)

720 x 576 PAL European East, if this is the setting you have chosen which is the reason why you can not play on a standalone. A computer plays everything.

I am trying to burn a dvd folder in again, on a dvd, on another mac equipped with a dvd burner...

Picture quality and sound well when reading. but the picture is not complete SD widescreen. It has back up and down.

    Can someone advise?

What is the best way to burn? data? film?

    Thanks Rod

    Hi Rod,

First things first - was your first widescreen sequence? How did you create assets for the DVD? Recommended method is to export from first as 'MPEG-2 DVD' and choose a suitable preset, such as "NTSC DV Widescreen". When that is imported into, there must be big screen automatically. Looks like maybe the DVD that you created is 4:3.

Regarding the engraving, it is better to export an IMAGE of a reminder, that create a standard .iso (disk image) file that can be burned with any number of third-party programs. I don't know what's available for Mac, there are free applications for PC such as Burn Aware.

If you use the method of the "record" for some reason, do NOT burn as the 'data' - which will not be a good DVD that will play in set-top DVD players. Result will work on computers. Burning software should have an option to 'DVD Video' and who will properly format it to burn a DVD with appropriate specifications. The .iso method is preferred, because it doesn't work, no games.

Where do you watch the DVD it shows black bars, what reading device?

    Thank you

  • What type of DVD should I buy to burn my Windows Movie Maker movie? Also, I have Windows DVD Maker, but no DVD burner. What should I buy?

I created a movie in Movie Maker.  I bought some DVD + r's - the correct burn the movie on?  Also, I don't have a burner, I thought that I did, I can only burn a CD what should I buy?  I don't have a Windows DVD authoring program.

    Hi rondah,.

Welcome to the Microsoft community newsgroups.

The type of recordable DVD, you need to use depends on your DVD burner, as well as on your DVD player. Some DVD burners can burn only to certain types of DVD recordable. For example, with some DVD burners, you can only record to DVD + R discs or DVD + RW or DVD-R or DVD - RW discs, while some other DVD burners will let you burn on all of these recordable DVD types.

As long as your DVD burner supports burning to these types of discs, you can use Windows DVD creation to burn a DVD using one of the following types of recordable and re-recordable DVD media: DVD + R, DVD + RW, DVD - R, DVD - RW, and DVD - ROM. These recordable or rewritable DVDs can be either simple single laminate or single sided double layer.

You should also consider the device you're using to play the DVD once you have engraved, if possible. Some DVD players and DVD - ROM drives play only certain types of DVD. To determine what types of DVDs your DVD player or DVD - ROM drive can play, see the documentation that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's Web site.

  • Problem with Media Center recorded TV shows DVD burning.

I recorded a few TV using Media Center shows and when I try to burn on a DVD they start and then slow down and stop. I tried on two different computers Vista with Home Premium and the other with Ultra same on both. They identify to the about 23 to 32% complete before stopping and don't ever burn anything on disks. It is said that the engraving is underway.

    Hi Kb11,

Have a. you tried to burn on a different DVD?

    B. do you use a third-party burning software on your computer for CD and DVD burning?

    C. Have burn you TV shows successfully earlier?

    D. do you have an error when burning?

Burning a TV show on a DVD can take some time to complete, depending on three factors: the length of the speed of your burner DVD, added video files and resources of your computer system. Wait for a while and see if it ends.

    1. Click the Start button, click all programs, and then click Windows Media Center.
    2. If Media Center is not full screen mode, click the maximize button.
    3. Insert a blank recordable DVD into your DVD burner.
    4. Click on the notification, burn a CD or DVD which appears.

If you do not see the notification, on the Windows Media Center start screen, navigate to tasks, and then click Burn CD/DVD.

    1. In the Select the disc Format page, click Vidéo DVD, and then click Next.
    2. Type a name for your DVD, and then click Next.
    3. On the Select media page, click recorded TV or video library, and then click Next.
    4. Select the items you want to burn (check marks appear on or next to the items that you select) and then click Next.
    5. To add more TV shows or video files on the disc, on the Review & Edit page, click add more.
    6. Repeat steps 5 through 7 until you have added all the shows recorded TV and videos you want to burn.
    7. On the page of review & edit , click Burn DVDs.
    8. In the opening of copy notification, click Yes.
    9. Once the disc is burned, in the notification filling burn , click done.
