Windows DVD Maker-burned a video DVD reads with no sound

Windows DVD Maker video playback errors

I'm doing a movie on dvd, this used to before, but now what is happening that the sound is ok on video before I burn it but when I burned video disc has not all the sounds that it but image is perfect. When I put the audio backround with it, you can hear the noise at that, I put the disc burned 3 dvd recorders and a reader as well as the PS3 and PC, but have the same problem

I talked to the Comet, which is where I got Hp desktop and I made them aware of it and said that I installed only 1 new program on pc and it was Vanbascos karaoke software. Could that be the issue. I was told to restore the computer to its factory with rercovery drive settings and see if problem persists

Hi Uncle mango.

1. don't you restore the computer back to factory settings?

If you have not restored the computer to factory settings, we recommend that you restore the settings of Windows DVD maker to factory default settings such as audio and video filters sometimes cause this problem.

Video and audio filters are programs that are installed on your computer that help interpret video files so that they will display and play correctly. Windows Movie Maker uses them when you import video and audio.

To restore settings, try the following steps.
A. open Windows DVD maker.
B. click on tools, then click Options.
C. click on the Compatibility tab.
D. do one of the following:
> To turn off a filter, clear the check box next to the name of the video filter.
> To turn on a filter, select the check box next to the name of the video filter.
> To restore the default list, click on restore all default values.
E. restart DVD maker and burn a new DVD to check if the problem persists.

When you restore the default settings, the list and the filters settings are given to the last known good setting.

  • Windows Movie Maker, save my video on DVD

    Original title: Windows Movie Maker.

I have Windows Movie Maker, I have XP Home + SP3, how do I save my video to DVD (I can use CD, why? * address email is removed from the privacy *)

To burn a dvd, you need third-party software for dvd authoring, you should have something like nero or roxio installed with your dvd writer.
Use this application to create a dvd-video disc.

  • DVD Maker burn only video widescreen 4:3, regardless of the report parameter l / h

I use DVD Maker and you have imported a widescreen in avi format video.  No matter if I put the image 4:3 or 16:9 format DVD, it burns video part 4:3 anyway. The menu displays in 16:9, the preview plays in a 16:9 frame, menu burn in 16:9, but the video is burned in an image full screen complete with very large and skinny people!
The other parameters are NTSC and start in the menu.
What happened with a newer version of the beta version of Windows7 and now between professional.

Windows DVD Maker has a design aspect ration fault.

I created a DVD using opinion with 16 x 9 aspect ratio. When played on a DVD player connected to a 16 x 9 TV, it looks fine, but when played on a 4 x 3 TV, the video is wrinkled rather than Letterbox or cropped. Surprisingly, the DVD seems to substitute for TV or DVD settings. I created several DVDs more with different parameters and the results are always the same - test on 4 DVD players and two televisions. Then, I created a DVD with 16 x 9 and 4 x 3 content content. Not only were the 16 x 9 crushed on the set of 4 x 3, but video 4 x 3 has been extended across the 16 x 9! Yet once, either the TVs juggle parameters during the process of creating or viewing options or four DVD players has changed the results. In all cases content was stretched or crushed to fill the screen. The DVD created using Roxio Creator 9 (or similar software) with identical clips do NOT have this problem. The DVD resulting does NOT substitute devices that they are played on. I do not think that any new software should be less functional that many softwares for years, do you think?

Calogero suggestion that 'when deciding what image format to choose, consider the aspect ratio for the monitor or TV on which your slide show will be ironed' is absurd. Firstly, we are not talking slideshow - we could care less if the slides in the menu are the correct proportions - we don't talk video. Then, suppose you want to create a DVD to give to dozens or hundreds of friends and family for the holidays. You're supposed to find the type of TV each recipient? This is ridiculous. If I have 4 x 3 TV sets now but plan to get the big screen 6 months from now, you want me to redo each disc? Have you already bought or rented a DVD you have to tell them if you had a TV big screen, so they could decide what DVD to give you? Most importantly, determine what type of TV will be used does not change the fact that no amount of fiddling with the settings have an impact on this issue. The only choice you are using other software or use only 4 x 3 to be played on a 4 x 3 TV clips and clips of 16 x 9 to be played on a large tv screen.

  • Windows Movie Maker is important video imcompletely (only five seconds to hour long video)

I tried to import this hour long video in windows movie maker, and the result is that only five seconds of the video is imported. I tried over and over again, but still five seconds of the video is imported. I have searched the Internet for answers, but impossible to find a single solution to all but one of this forum that leads to a page for the Director in windows vista, which certainly does not help. Any help on this situation would be greatly appreciated. If it helps, I am running Service Pack 2 for Windows XP Home 32-bit Edition.

The extension is (.mpg). I've just updated to Service Pack 3, but the problem is still persistent... Right, the Windows Movie Maker version is 5.1, if it helps.

    =====================================
The problem is the file format. If you convert the MPG file
in WMV format, you can have better results.

Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

    Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv - avi
    Music - wma, wav, wmv

    The following freeware can convert:

Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

  • The music will not play on my Windows Movie Maker 2.6 video?

I've converted .mp3 to .wav files so that they are compatible with Movie Maker 2.6, but they don't always work. I even tried to convert .wma but still nothing. Work files, they play fine on Windows Media Player but when I add them to the video there is no sound. Help, please!

The video is a video, hypercam if that helps. Which is a .avi format. Does it matter?

    Hello JackySC,

    1. What is the operating system installed on your computer?

MP3 and Avi files are compatible with Movie Maker 2.6 and should work. However, if you are not able to read files with this, I suggest you install Windows Live Movie Maker and check if you have the same problem.

(2) in the above list, type or paste async and pause search box while the list is filtered (3), double-click the preference dom.ipc.plugins.asyncdrawing.enabled to switch the value from true to false

This may not take effect until the next time that you exit Firefox and start it again.

One of the changes in Firefox 48-49 title is e10s, separating the process of browser interface process page content. The performance impact of this can vary a lot between the systems, and it would be useful to know if you have this feature enabled. To check this, either:

    • button '3-bar' menu > '? ' button > Troubleshooting Information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste Subject: support in the address bar and press enter

In the first table on the page, find the line of Multiprocess Windows and see if the number on the left side of the fraction is greater than zero. If so, you are using e10s.

    If you use e10s:

To determine if this feature is causing this problem, you can turn off as follows:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the cars and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 to switch the value from true to false

Note: the exact name of this preference may vary, but it will start by Browser.Tabs.Remote.AutoStart

On your next startup of Firefox, it must be run in the traditional way. Any difference?
