  • How to convert DVD to YouTube video format__

I filmed a Friends memorial service using a Panasonic VDR - M50 DVD camcorder.  My computer is a Dell Inspiron 546 AMD Athlon II x 2 250 processor 3.00 GHz with 8 GB of RAM, with the operating system Windows 7 Professional 64 - bit, and I try to use Windows Live Movie Maker to create a Youtube movie compatible format so that I can download.  I do not fancy changes and I have a song that is at 3 minutes and 25 seconds in length copied on a DVD.

When I put the DVD in my computer, it loads and plays the entire song.  However, when I open Windows Live Movie Maker and be, drag and drop, or choose the add video icon; Windows Live Movie Maker shows the song as 'only' 1 minute; and when I play the song is actually only 1 minute.  I went back and re-recorded the song, 2 times more off the movie-camera, but he continues to copy only less than 1/3 of the song?

Should I stop using Windows Live Movie Maker and download something else that allows you to convert?

    Hi cbaltax,

Since your post I understand that you want to copy (download) a video from YouTube and make your own DVDs using DVD special, is that correct?

To do this, you would have everything first to download video from YouTube and save it to your hard drive.

You must download and install a third party application to download videos from YouTube successfully.

You can use your favorite search engine to find programs that allow you to download YouTube videos on the web.

Once the video is saved on your hard drive, you may burn the same with creating Windows DVD or Windows Live Movie Maker.

With Windows Live Movie Maker (WLMM), you can create movies using your photos and videos, make dynamic slideshows using your favorite photos and music, save and share your movie with friends and families, etc.

  • Why Burns fail, I have 120 mins on DVD + R and video space is 109 minutes?

HP Pavilion Desk top P6610f Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit internet wireless.  I burned DVDs with the engraver of DVD HP Media smart but it wouldn't let me not even burn more than 59 minutes on a single disc.  I use a trial version of software from NCH EXpress Burn and it seems to work much better, but when I tried to burn a video of 109 minutes for disc 2 hours or 120 minutes, he said the he did not allow.  In fact, he said that she had more space on the disk that the factory said that this was the case the day before.  NCH says the drive has 2::26 s minutes free space, the DVD says there 2 hours and I tried to burn a video of 109 minutes on a 120 minute drive.  The video is too long or is it a different problem entirely?  Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello

Depending on the type of the size of the video and the file, you can write video from 60 minutes on a 120 minute disc. For example: same length of a film, but you can buy a simple DVD layer, double layer DVD and BluRay disc. In this case, the decline in the quality of the video must fit.

    Hope this helps.

  • Burn DVDs using Windows DVD Creator

I am using first Pro CC 2014 in a Windows 7 environment.

Creating DVDs is very good an exception for me, but I find that I need to do on a project that I finished yesterday evening.  Help files are full of duty (which is is more developed again) to handle this, but reading the instructions, it seems that I need to install Pr CS6 for this.

Then... a few questions before I pass a (Aussie ADSL speeds waste) time downloading something I do not need, is it possible to use Windows DVD Maker (or, in a pinch, DVDStyler) to manage and, if so, what export settings should I in SOUL?

FYI, I tried using the preset with PCM Audio MPEG-DVD and I thought that he had worked - but my 12 minutes project stopped after about 8 minutes and there is no audio data.  Also, I tried to compress the audio in the MPEG format in SOUL with similar results.  DVDStyler seems to read the .m2v file generated by the SOUL like wave, so I have not even tried a burn.

Another question: if I don't have to go on the road of CS6/still, my project 2014 CC will drop open here or do I have to do some sort of conversion?

Any advice on the best way to proceed would be much appreciated!  I'm sure I'm missing something and this should not be difficult.

Well, playing around, I found my own solution which I'll post in case anyone else wants to burn DVDs without installing CS6/still.

I found a piece of software called DVD Flick (free under a Creative Commons license) which can create DVDs from a wide variety of raw materials - I happened to use a version made in SOUL on the Youtube HD preset (1080) and it worked well - good quality, the instructions were clear and concise, and the coding was relatively fast (about 1 minute-by-minute video).  If I need to burn a DVD more in the future (so probably not, but who knows) can I have a play with other settings of the SOUL, but, for the moment, I am happy and can recommend DVD Flick on CS6/still just for the occasional DVD.

ShowBiz DVD 2 analog video capture on my E10.

    Stu

Eric, I really don t understand you. First Movie Maker is part of the Microsoft software and you get it with Windows XP. What producer can do is to test it with own product. I'm sure you know that Movie Maker is developed for editing movies and not for recording of TV programs. WinDVD creator is also very good for editing movies.

Second, you cannot say that you cannot save your favorite TV channel. This function is also integrated into WMC. If you don't like it, or you are not satisfied, you must look for the best solution.

The same thing has been with me. I was not satisfied with the program to burn and I bought a new one with more options.

    Good bye

  • Does not have Lenovo Slim USB Portable DVD burner DVD or programs

Hi everyone, yesterday I bought a new Lenovo Y50, but when I tried to launch a video game he acted as if there were no disc inside the dvd recorder.

The strange thing is that it turns CDs without problem, but no dvd or programs.

I just bought, so there is no possibility that my pc is affected by viruses or other issues don't related.

    Can someone help me?

Is this just a problem about me being not not good for the pc, should I make a process specific or is - a problem the burner dvd itself?

    Thank you.

Thank you for your answer, but I solved this problem.

I went back to the seller, we tested it and the result is that it is broken.

They gave me a new, and now it works correctly.

    Thank you once again.
