Burst of corner ZR2440w

Out of the box my new ZR2440w showed horrible bright spots in four corners when displaying dark colors, even in low light (30%), the lower left corner being the worst. Similar to the glow of slab IPS, but in static part (backlight bleeding?). Lightly press the bezel on the sides moved around a little points of light.

Surprisingly, after using the monitor for two days, this problem seems to have erased partly itself - to a point where it is still noticeable, but * almost * acceptable as normal IPS glow. And it's not not my getting used to the effect; photos I took really show reduced points of light.

Is it normal that these screens to need time to 'settle '? Is this a problem of build quality? Should I expect that to improve over time or is it disturbing?

Thank you for the information. I did further research, and you try a second monitor has verified what I suspected. Basically, it's a reflection of the LCD under the cover, or essentially backlight bleeding. It's not a default and shared by all, and not much can be done to clear the bleeding. Just got my iMac after a few repairs.
They set up the Sierra for me.
Now, when I was in El Capitan hot corners for windows Application would display all of the windows open for all open applications. I find when I do now, in the Sierra, he shows that the active window before?

You can customize what your active corners show by going to System Preferences > desktop and screensaver. Click the screen saver tab, and then click the corners at the bottom right. Here, you can select another function for each corner (or leave the field blank). To view all your open applications, you can select 'Mission Control' on any angle you like.

Start Screen Saver hot corner no longer works under macOS Sierra 10.12

I use Active corners to allow my screen saver lock my screen forever. The hot corner "Start screen saver" no longer works after upgrade to Sierra 10.12. 'Put display to Sleep' hot corner doesn't work, as do other things like "Disable screensaver" and "Launchpad". I tried reversing the triggers and active corners and can confirm that four corners work, but none of the corners can trigger action to launch the screensaver.

The letter 'J' means that the photo is part of a pair of "GROSS" and "JPEG", and the JPEG file has been selected as the original image file. If the RAW file is selected as the original, you would see an 'R' in the corner.

Very well. The problem is that since the update for Firefox 37.0.2 I have problems playing video on Youtube.com and sometimes Newgrounds.com.
