Examples for an average of temperature of 1102

Someone at - it an example for an average of temperature of a 1102 bays.  I have a way to do it, but it would be difficult and I was hoping that he would be a better solution than pulling each TC from a table and making a moving average on those.  Since I was 62 TCs that would take a lot to do.

RE: I did not use statistics express only filter and math funtions to do such things in the past which can be difficult with interlaced and multiplexing of signals.  I was hoping there was an easier way and it sounds like the ticket.

    Hello

    There are several examples for fault detection in bearing (Vibration tool sets). I need more information about these data include:

    -Bringing its specifications

    -How to perform data acquisition

    -a link to the tutorial

    I came across this manual that shows how to use OATS envelope detection VI to perform detection of failures of bearings.

    http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/372416A-01/svtconcepts/cst_speed_brg/

    It lists the specifications of turnover:

    • Inch diameter 0,2813

    • Primitive diameter: 1,1228 inch

    • Speed: 1 234 RPM

    It also goes to the list of characteristic frequencies determined by these attributes.

    The data acquisition is carried out by the use of an accelerometer and a tachometer. These devices measure the vibration and the rotation speed of the bearing data. Failure detection uses a method called detection of the envelope to look at the signals of the bearing and compared to signals of standard bearings to the discovery of flaws. You can learn more about the method of acquisition of data here:

    I looked around but have not been able to find the code example for single asynchronous reading of multiple waveforms.  Could someone point me in the right direction?

    Thank you

    Dale

    Hi Dale,

    Have you looked at the code using .NET Framework DAQmx example? It shows this code:

    class DAQmxAsyncRead
    {
    private AnalogSingleChannelReader reader = null;

    public DAQmxAsyncRead (task t)
    {
    Create the drive
    Reader = new AnalogSingleChannelReader (t.Stream);
    Acquire 100 samples
    Handful of IAsyncResult = reader. BeginReadMultiSample (100, New AsyncCallback (OnDataReady), null);
    }

    Public Sub OnDataReady (IAsyncResult i)
    {
    Recover data that has been read.
    At this point, all that occurred during the asynchronous read exceptions are thrown
    Double data = reader. EndReadMultiSample (i);

    You can call the method BeginReadMultiSample here once again
    }
    }

  • Recommendation/resources (books, examples) for NI Vision

    Hi all

    After a few days I tried to learn and to do some very basic projects (video) using NI Vision and its does not too well, in part because I have no image editing experience or background. I would like to know if there are some resources out there for beginners. I found a book "image acquisition and processing with labview", but it is intended for more experienced users. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Hello odessy27,

    For a book of general image processing, try Image processing: Fnndamentals The.  To get examples of LabVIEW and IMAQ using, you can take a look at our examples for shipping.  Any window of LabVIEW, see help > find examples.  Then navigate to hardware input and output and IMAQ.

  • Can not find an example for synchronization series S-6120 devices...

    Hello

    I recently updated my system to MSstudio and NiDAQmx 8.8 8.6. I have two cards PCI 6120 on my computer. I'm looking for a sample VB .NET program for synchronization of the two cards. But I can't find examples for S material of the series. The examples that I found are written for class E or M and they were written with the libraries of 8.5 Ms. As a result, they does not work in the first instance. However, I've referenced to 8.6 libraries but the custom still programme with my devices. Can anybody e help to kick start my Vb .NET program.

    Thank you in advance.

    Concerning

    Vijay

    Hi Vijay,

    For VB.NET examples for synchronization of multiple devices, you can take a look at some of our examples expedition under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\Examples\DotNET2.0\Synchronization\Multi-Device. In particular, I want to tell you that is the AIContAcquisition examples. This example shows you how to synchronize multiple devices such as E-Series, series M and DSA for a task HAVE continued. Note that while the S series is not explicitly mentioned in this example, the synchronization procedure E-Series is identical to that of the S series. In addition, because this example uses not all components MStudio, you experience no longer MStudio library problems.

    I hope this helps.

    I noticed that the logo of my company is no longer included in the download page (for example, for files sent to clients). The custom logo is still a feature of the subscription to Adobe send?

    Hi Val (and David),

    Yes, custom branding will be absolutely included in Adobe send; We know that this is an important feature for many customers and don't dream of it remove! We plan to add this feature later this summer. Until the option of customization is available in Adobe send, you can keep using SendNow to do all your mail files and use the logo/personalization feature here. We'll let you know when you can brand your matches send Adobe, and is then going to be sure to make the transition to the new service - but it is perfectly fine to stick to SendNow so far here.

    I hope that helps to clarify things! Let me know if you need more info from us on this front.

  • When you use Boinc computer software for sharing at high temperature

    I have a z600 with 2 x 5550 cpu and 24 GB of ram.  When I try to run it above 60% load it reached 91 c with the Core Temp software.

    The computer is clean and free of dust. Is this normal?

    CoreTemp also shows a value for Tj max.  That is your processor?  CoreTemp is adjustable to show the difference between Tj max and the base time.  This temperature depends on the processor.

    Processors will run hot when you're stressed, it's supposed to get maximum performance.  I ran systems to 100% of CPU load for weeks at a time, on several systems, and the base temperature max was around 10 degrees c (or more) below Tj max.

    If your CPU is running closest to Tj max, some things could contribute to reduce the time.  Download the dust of the case and the heat sinks.  The fans run OK?  Have you ever removed the radiators of processors, and if you did, replace you the thermal paste?

    Either way, if we remove the CPU heatsink, Intel recommends cleaning the processors and heatsinks of the old thermal paste and apply the new paste.  The old dough hardens and does not heat, well, if the radiator is replaced by the old dough.  I don't think it would make a big difference, and sometimes simply put the radiator on a CPU with old dough, until what I tested a system and found the CPU was running 1 deg C below Tj max.  That's never happened before, so I cleaned the old dough off the CPU and the heatsink, put some new goodies on it, and then the CPU ran at least 12 degrees C below Tj max at 100% load.  FOR INFO.

    Hi Antonio,.

    I recorded the example mentioned to be compatible with 10.0 using the function 'Save for the previous version' of LabVIEW and attached the new document below. Please let me know if it works.

    The course will be very useful if you want to use it much in the future. Real time quotes are most relevant to develop on CompactRIO and the FPGA course will be very useful if you plan to use the FPGA in your applications. Do you have a course of training before sitting?

  • Examples for the new reference value of data with LVOOP

    Hello

    I'm looking for examples on how to use the new function of data with the LV class reference to achieve access to the ByRef objects.

    I would be very grateful for some codes.

    Greetings

    Hello

    a reall call by reference is not possible in LabVIEW. A good method is to use a queue with the size of a single element - then you can always move the reference to the queue and to read and write the new items in there.

    Or you use a FGV to store your object, which would work as well.

  • Interface not found error when using Snap example for Firewire (IEEE 1394)

    Recently, I installed a SONY XCD-SX910 in interface with Labview 8.2.  When you choose the driver, only the Legacy driver would work for the installation of Firewire (R) (or IEEE 1394).  After installing the driver, I have images of the inteface to MAX.  However, when you attempt to trace through the example of Snap 1394 legacy since the document installation IEEE 1394, I get the error "Interface not found".  I tried a few iterations to try to name the camera as "cam0' (the name given to the camera to the MAX) and" cam0: SONY XCD-SX910.  However, the error continues.

    What should I name my camera so he could find the interface?  Will there be another underlying problem that is not obvious?

    Control of IO is not something that will be filled when you use the Legacy 1394 driver. If you use IMAQdx as your driver, it will fill. Thus, when you use the Legacy 1394 driver, you have control of the chain on your façade. When you use control of the chain, you must set the name of the camera as "cam0" as you did before. As long as this corresponds to what is able & Automation Explorer, you should be good as long as MAX uses the same driver that you are trying to use.

  • Calculation chart environment using collector, for an average

    Hello

    I was looking for a way to use a waveform graph, added the ability to set the width of the display of axis are all allowing a development of the chart track data, a little.  It is because the self-centering of the graph feature is choppy and does not allow users to zoom in or zoom out on the ground (which my colleagues have asked).

    It's basically my current solution posted here because I think that I finally got a right, but also because I know that you guys tell me: ten ways to do it better.  :%^)

    Note that the data here are slow; I think it would be really embarrassing if we looked at quickly changing data, although you could probably "Collect" more data and on average it all in the same way, to set the center of the axis y of the graph.

    The front panel; I put in place the three graphs in a tab control.  (Of course, there are no signals on the data acquisition module, when I did; but at least zero focuses on auto, and the range control works).

    I guess I'm especially looking for your comments and I was wondering if I missed an obvious way to simplify this process.

    Thank you

    Danielle

    Hey Danielle,

    Given that it is a long-term test, are you interested displays all the data of your test or only the most recent game? The waveform table allows to memorize and display historical information because it has a buffer associated with it. From your code, it seems that this collector is just used to store information so that you can average the last few data points. The only thing I see standing in your way of simply with an average of your data is that it seems that you display two signals on the graph. So which signal you want to be centered? If you have a signal you want to reach on average to get the center of your chart, you may son of this signal in a convert from Dynamic Data VI express. When you put everything first down, a configuration window appears. You can then select ' 1 D array of scalars"as the type to convert. The output of this VI will then be an array of data points. You can then use the VI means to find the way to this table 1 d.

  • Ignoring the Null value or 0 for an average of

    Hello

    I don't code in Java, so I'm having a problem with a form.

    We have a form of training that adds the total of the sides and then is supposed to understand on average.  My problem is that the provided average is based on the average function canned for the field, so it's the calculation of all the fields, including those who have either a Null value or a zero.  Can someone help me with this please?

    By the way.  If the N.O. is checked, the coast is n/a.

    There are also five sections that will total all the sides and will need an average of these totals.

    Thanks in advance.

    Here's a generic function to calculate the average of a group of non-empty fields.

    This function takes two parameters: an array of domain names at average and a Boolean value specifying if the function should return an empty string if the result was zero.

    function averageFields (fields, blankIfZero) {}

    var total = 0;

    var n = 0;

    for (var i in fields) {}

    var f = this.getField (fields [i]);

    v var = f.valueAsString;

    If {(v)

    total += (+ v);

    n ++ ;

    }

    }

    var returnValue = (n == 0)? ' ': total/n;

    If (blankIfZero & returnValue = 0) returnValue = "";

    return returnValue;

    }

    You can set this function at the level of the document, and then call it as follows (starting a custom calculation script, in this case):

    Event.Value = averageFields (["field1", "Field2", "Field3"], false);
