Y at - it a forum for the support of the company? I'm having some problem prepares an installation without support for Palm Desktop 6.2 program.

Setup successfully completed phase 1 but fails on stage 2 when it tries to start hotsyncwizard.exe. The error message refers to Visual C++ Runtime.

As our user have no administrator rights, they are unable to install the software.

Palm Desktop is to be installed with administrator rights.  Once installed with these rights and a completed initial HotSync, they may be removed back to the levels of the user.

I'm not aware of any way around this requirement.  This forum is mainly for new users; DNA (Access Developer Network) is intended for the PalmOS software developers:

    I had the same challenge before.

    I was looking for the Australian hotline number for the business support Linksys help a friend because she needed help for his router in the company.

    What I've done I changed the location of the right side of the homepage in Australia uppper and clicked on the company, supported and he showed me a "call" option and voila... That's all...

    If it keeps redirecting you to the main site, you can use another browser.

  • I can get windows business support activation key of the product outside the normal office hours. Duplicate a key after reinstall.

    The difficulty to activate a product key valid Windows vista business after normal office hours.  Is there an emergency number or support that I can use.  I have an urgent matter to finish tonight.

    You can reactivate your Windows Vista installation by doing the following:
     
    1. click on the Start button and in the box, type search: slui.exe 4
     
    2. press the Enter key on your keyboard.
     
    3. Select your country.
     
    4. follow the instructions for the activation of the telephone (toll-free).
     
    NOTE: When you call this number, you will first hear an automated voice. If the automated voice gives you an option to talk to a
    Live the Rep of Activation, select this option. If this is not the case, do not enter all the numbers. This should force the automated voice transfer
    an Activation Rep. Live trying to activate through the automated voice won't work, in your case, only through the Live Activation Rep
    your activation will be successful.

  • M/T DC5800 MEBx / AMT support question. Help, please!

    I'm trying MEBx and AMT configuration on my Pc, I'm sure that my system supports, but I seem to be missing some options. When I press Ctrl-P to the HP splash screen it takes me to the login MEBx screen. I get my password and it takes me to another screen. The question is, are the ONLY options (s): 'Intel ME State Control' and 'Intel ME Firmware Local Update Qualifier. " the two are set to 'allow', but that's all I have, when I go into the BIOS, I found the following information: "ME Firmware = 3.0.4.1120", "ME the Management Mode = ASF"; THE system BIOS is v1.54, the OS is Vista Business x 86.

    What Miss me? Is there a software that is supposed to be installed on the Pc? I ask b/c I'm running an image, NOT the original image provided by default on the Pc. We uninstalled most, if not all, the HP software that came with the Pc. everything looks that the system is supported by the AMT, but I don't seem to have all the options.

    I have a question for you. Why don't you reinstall the original software of the recovery partition?

    I have a legacy application that I have to run in Windows 2000.  (Windows is a guest OS running in a Virtual Box on a Linux machine).  I need to run the 4630, print only, function in the Windows operating system.  I need to know what previous printer driver will work in this arrangement, sine the 4630 drivers are not supported in Windows 2000.

    Business support called 1-800-334-5144 has learned to use the deskjet 990 C printer driver.  It has worked well.

    I'm looking to upgrade my silent switches to a Cisco 2960 switch.  I wanted to check and make sure that this configuration would be funded.

    I need to configure the 4 VLANS on Cisco 2960 switch, 1 for the vmotion traffic, which would have no internet access, one for management traffic that does not have internet access, for standard server traffic and traffic vmserver, who should access to the internet.

    The Cisco switch working with gateway SMCD3G-CCR ok, or do I need another router for this?  If yes why?

    I don't know if this is the right forum but I know that Cisco linksys bough, so I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

    The SG300 series can't RIP. Only static routes (up to 32) are supported. However, models of SG500X support the dynamic routing RIP version 2 Protocol.

    Regarding the new firmware Sx300, he added a number of security features impressive including inspection IP ARP, DHCP snooping and encryption of SSD.

  • You need to add a 3rd WAP to existing small business network. Where I start?

    The network has 26 ports Cisco switch and 2 existing WAPs, 1 of which is an air 1040, and the other I'm not sure but it resembles that of other.  I need to add a 3rd WAP for a small room.  I was going to use an other cisco 1040 air, but I don't know where to start.  There is a smaller, lighter WAP that works?  I have no experience in network configuration, so I'd like something simple.  Help, please.

    My name is Eric Moyers, one of the Experts I wireless in the Small Business Support Center.

    Normally, I tell customer to add products similar to their outgoing network when they're trying to develop it. This prevents the learning curves to a minimum and help in getting enlargement and running faster. However, there are time going with brand new products are better, especially if you are trying to integrate the best technologies.

    The Aironet 1040 currently being End of Life / end of sale. You would need to look for a different model.

    He stay with the Enterprise Access Points level, the AIR 1602 has the same capabilitoes as the 104 you're too used. Price range is 300 above low 400 according to one where you look.

    If you want to look at small businesses, we have the WAP561 which is also dual Radio and should do everything the 1040 can or you can look at the WAP371 that is double also but includes a radio that can make the new signal "AC". These two serve 200 upper middle 200 depending on where you look. By the way that they look almost identical to the AIR1040 as well.

    problem is solved in firmware that is never released publicly - 2.0.7.6T1 or 2.0.7.6T2 (the two Beta status). These units are already EoL (which means that no new firmware is planned to be released) I suggest you open the service request to a Small Business Support Center (HWC) and ask the last beta firmware.
