• Command buttons and lights not working not properly - Satellite U400

  I am currently facing a problem with my Satellite U400, which runs under Windows Vista / Bios v3.00.
  First, the control buttons no longer work, as when I press on them, nothing more. It was that when you press on, the LED lights for a while and then come back to life.

  Now, LEDS are constantly lit. Even when the laptop is turned off and the cable is removed.

  So far, I tried to turn on and turn off the LED option in the Bios (that is turned on and off the LED on the touchpad and the logo of Satellite, but not on the control buttons). I uninstalled and reinstalled the Value Pack from recovery CD - no change. I deleted and reinstalled the Windows called devices: ACPI fixed feature button (thought this might help).

  Is there anything else I could do?

  Once the problem is resolved, I wonder if the command buttons can be customized. For some reason I do not seem to find the appropriate program to set those.

• My iphone 6 does not light, I held the home button and power at the same time and no vibration or no sign of life, any suggestions as to what it could be would be appreciated

  Put it on wait ten minutes if the phone did not come one, then hold down the sleep/Home button until you see the apple logo and then release, make sure that the phone is still connected to the charger.

  A combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is placed at the right end of the address bar is used in Firefox 4.
  
  During the process of loading page it shows as a stop button and once the charging button is replaced by a reload button.
  
  If you type in the address bar this button would then become a button go.
  
  You can middle - click this button Reload to duplicate the current tab in a new tab.

  If you want to move the buttons Stop and recharge in the position to the left of the address bar, you can use the following steps:

  Press the sleep/wake and home buttons and keep them for at least 10 seconds.

  If this happens on two different screens that work fine on another computer, then it is probably a problem with your video card.

  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get the drivers (and you should definitely be for your video card and any other device you have time for - it can only help even if it is not helping to solve this particular problem), do leave the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/.   If it does not, then it is probably a hardware problem with the video card and you may need to take to a computer repair shop (NOT Geeek Squad or one of these centers of department store) or go back to the manufacturer for repair.  If it's a PC, you can be able to do the replacement yourself if it's a separate card and is not part of the motherboard.  If it's a laptop don't even try not to do it yourself, get professional help.  If you have a spare video card that you can put into the computer rather than the one we think is bad, you should try first to see if it solves the problem.  If the problem goes away, then you know for sure it's a faulty video card.

  I have a Dimension 9200 bought around 2008. About 3 weeks, I started having issues getting started, until the computer wouldn't start. Lights said a bad video card, so I took out the card nvidia 260 and put the original video card in and the computer worked OK with the original video card. After another week or two, would not start the computer. I bought a used motherboard and succeeded him. When I turned on the computer, I had 2 short beeps and 1-2-3 on on the Panel. The seller knew what was up, then I sent the motherboard back and got a replacement of the replacement card is in it, but it still gives me 2 short beeps and 1-2-3 is turned on.   Beep codes should be in groups of three, separated by a short break, for example, 1-pause-1-pause-1. So if you hear 2 beeps, who is not useful.

  According to the Manual, G-G-G-(off) means "another failure", and:

  My Alienware x 51 will not be closed properly. Fan and lights constantly. I need to hold the powerbutton to shut it down.

  Its an Alienware X-51-purchased around June 2012.

  The problem started when I upgraded my BIOS version A06 to A13 (running A14 now). Now, whenever I turned off my computer, the lights are still up and the fan runs. In order to stop completely, I have to press the "switch" button.

  My warranty expired a year ago.

  Anyone know how to fix this? I suspect there is something wrong with my motherboard, since I can't even get into the BIOS setup when I start my computer.

  Has anyone tried to replace the motherboard? What type of motherboard do need me? Is it possible to buy the "original" Alienware mobo?

  I hope someone is able to help. Comments or suggestions are welcome.

  Ah, Yes, that's - a ultra high resolution (dots per inch) display. It is a known problem in Flash Player, which Adobe is working on fixing.

• "Home" button and Touch ID dead after few water damage

  Recently, I took my iPhone 6 tubes with me. It is in a case of Lifeproof which for me has always been impervious to water. For some reason, this time a few drops of water seeped into the 'home' button and contact ID no longer work, and Siri now appears at random times. I'm no stranger to dismantle iPhones for repair I do my own repairs if the warranty is up, but I ask, would simply replace the home button / Touch ID unit fix it? The rest of the phone works perfectly, I even typed this on this subject.
