I'm really here and at the end of my home. I've been on the phone back for about 3 hours between various departments, which none could help me. I call you to the United Kingdom also, so it is still more difficult.

I'm having issues buy apps/games from the store of Windows 8. I have assigned to my account payment methods and can buy/rent movies through these methods without any problems.

When I try to buy a game on the App Store or trying to buy in-game DLC (Disney Fairies - 2nd piece of DLC), I wonder about add a payment method that I don't have a partner to my account. I follow these steps and click on the Add button. Then, I can see the list of my cards and the ability to add more if I like it. No matter what I choose, I get the following message:

We cannot authorize the payment method. Please make sure that the information is correct, or use another method of payment. If you continue to receive this message, contact your financial institution. 30225-GOVJFQAAAAAAAAAA-78df542c-9d3b-4476-a08d-a4dae9f5ddce error details

I checked with my financial institution and have been assured there is no blocks etc on my account (and I can buy movies and don't pay for items using the Dashbaord & my Windows Phone Xbox no problem at all.

Any ideas?

I noticed that I have some how managed to get an account of TT & US associated with my account of GB, could it be causing some kind of conflict?

I also came to chat online to a very tough individual. I love all the Microsoft products. I W8, A Surface RT, 360, WP8 and will get a X 1 but I'm really getting annoyed.

Took more than a week to solve but it finally fixed. I was sent around the teams of different support (Windows OS (obviously not their problem), Microsoft, Store account.

The Windows Store team was finally able to fix it for after climbing to level 2 support.

Here's their answer. I hope it will be useful to someone in the same situation.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to provide you with details of how this problem has been resolved because I reached the team financial.

The only thing I know there is blocking CSV on account which financial team was able to remove.

    For some reason I can't connect to the store of Windows 8. When I run the app I get the familiar green background, but it blocks just on hold.

    I checked my log files and it looks like the app WWAHost.exe is a failure. I don't know exactly what this process is for, but I searched him and discovered that he has something to do with the store of Windows 8. I have also a log indicating that the winstore_1.0.0.0_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy package has ended. I suspect that this is also related to the store of Windows 8.

    Windows 8/RT software is based entirely around shop Windows for the supply and installation of applications and RT, this is the only way to install the programs anyway.

    It's early days yet for the store to have gift cards etc., iTunes took awhile to get to the stadium, which was pulled by the market for music on an iPod in hand, although it has grown more far. Microsoft has unfortunately split this market that music is via XBox that is separate from the Windows Store, so it can not happen in the same way. Same movies are on XBox but there is also a Netflix App so it is not related to a supplier who could work a choice anyway, but no mass down.

    Looks like you may have a hardware problem with your CD/DVD drive. You are able to read all disks you put in (like music CD or other programs)? If this is not the case, go to Device Manager and check the status of the device.

    To do this, click the Start button, right-click on computer, click Properties, and then click Device Manager in the left column.

    In the Device Manager screen, double-click on CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives, and then double-click the device listed under the DVD/CDROM drives. In the device status window, I must say that the device is functioning properly. If this isn't the case, you will have to solve the reader to find the problem. It may be a loose cable or a faulty drive.
