Buy USB recovery failed.

I have a quad of 15 t-j000 touchsmart envy with a swipe of the finger. Because it appears that hp cannot provide me a recovery USB that works, I think the purchase of victory pro 8.1 and download of various factors such as the sweep of the screen and finger touch. Do you think I can reproduce more or less the first installation of the factory in this way?

Thank you for your advice

Have you tried the trick that has worked for many posters - get into the BIOS, change the date to 01/01/2012, then run recovery? On the first restart that insiders of recovery, enter the BIOS to check the BIOS date is still in 2012, then let him resume. If successful, you can then set return date to correct

No more clues as to how your recovery is a failure, I did some more tips to offer.

You should be able to install a retail Windows 8 and install the drivers for the HP support page - but I have seen "a few" run into problems to put everything in place to the satisfaction.

  • Recovery failed

    Hello

I have problem with recover my system with drive Q on W530.
I start the recovery with F11 when booting. Loads of everything very well. As recovery menu shows and I choose Lenovo makes the options at the bottom of the window. I accept the conditions of recovery and after I click next dialog box opens with: "the recovery failed. I do not know how it works... The only thing I've done with drive Q was remove drive letter, which was made by mistake, but I put the letter Q even more.

    Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the reply! I could not make the recovery Windows Media also. Everything was caused by mSATA SSD. When I removed it recovery has started working again. I made a recovery with the USB media and recovered it on the SSD. I had to remove the drive Q and other things of system disk HARD as multiplied recovery drive causes the same problem. Remember: to make the USB recovery media work, there has to be FAT32 partition active. So now I have state of factory on mSATA SSD and formatted HDD is disk storage now.

A way of knowing whether worked or not, usb recovery flash drive support and is to make an another bootable usb flash drive to test whether or not it is the laptop.

The fact that you could not start the flash from another PC drive leads me to believe that the creation of recovery has failed.

Here is the link to the instructions and tools you need to make a bootable flash drive general.

The two files that you need are at the bottom of the page.  The bootme.zip file is just the BACK files that you extract, copy and paste once the other file actually formats the flash drive to make it bootable.  In this way, it is a speedy BACK and from there you can just go out.

  • HP 15 F018dx: Using a HP USB recovery on other models

If I order a recovery usb Windows 8.1 HP for a specific model laptop... is it possible to also use this USB recovery for an additional HP laptop computer that is the same model or a model different recent HP that originally came with Windows 8.1? Thank you.

    Hello:

If you order a usb for Windows 8.1 HP for laptop model specific recovery, it will work on another of the same model.

It will not work on any other HP PC.

The recovery media checks the BIOS and other unique identifiers, and if they do not gather, and then exit the Setup.

He'll even specific enough... as to my own situation... I replaced the Broadcom wireless card in my G1 of 350 HP with an Intel card (which is not available on the 350 G1), and the recovery process is gone until the end, then he erroneous reports that there is no driver found for the wireless card, recovery failed.

I assumed he would recover the laptop, and I could just install the Intel wireless driver.  No dice.

    Problem:

There is no restore point on my computer if I want to perform a system recovery back to the image of the manufactuer.  I downloaded the USB recovery Flash Disk Utility for my model.  Now I want to recover my computer via USB, but when I run the advanced recovery mode he's trying to restart my computer.  Given that my computer will not shut down properly, I end up having to press the power button until it stops my computer and the recovery does not continue when I start my computer again.

I tried to use F11, but then I just end up on a screen that says either press on enter to choose to continue with Windows 7, press tab to move to the bottom of the list or press ESC for more options.  I tried all three and they eventually freeze the screen and keys are starting to make a Summit high-pitched beep when I try to press one, so I end up having to force my laptop to stop.

    JES

    Hi, Jes:

Yes, it would be the battery.  The relatively heavy bar that is normally removed retainers of slide.

From what you described, I am afraid that your PC needs a lot of work (probably a bad motherboard), and you'd be much better to buy a new laptop or refurbished, than to pay a lot of money to fix yours.

I guess you would have to pay more than $200 for repair.

I'm sorry this is probably not what you wanted to hear.

    Best regards

How to port HP_recovery in car to my flash drive?

    Windows 7 x 64, HP G62-144DX

    Hello:

I can't help you with this specific issue, but if you can get it is resolved and you can read the product key 25 character Microsoft Windows on the bottom of your PC, do your own installation of W7 media to reinstall W7.

    Here's how:

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

  • Recovery failed on the L850 Satellite

Hi, looking for help after a Toshiba Recovery failed on a L850-ID5.

Due to a problem with the windows Explorer that comes, I could not solve, I decided to do the full restoration of Toshiba. Finished, he gave an error code 10-FC12-0570.

Now computer tries to start windows, goes to a blue screen with a few other technical details (too fast to see what is there) and then to the windows recovery page. I tried all the options like mode safe without success. If the left, it will continually cycle and re - start.

Only other option seems to be to use an installation disc, but there is no disc with this laptop.

Any ideas how to get out of this mess?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

Unfortunately I can't say with certainty what the problem but that is defective recovery image or there is a problem with the HARD drive. For a long time, the laptop manufacturers do not offer installation disks but in s manuals explains and describes how these discs can be created and your big mistake is that you didn t do backup recovery image and create the installation of recovery disc.

I don't know how old is your machine, but if the warranty is still valid I recommend you contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. Explain the problem and ask for help.
If they ask for recovery disk, you try to explain that you didn t expect failure of HARD drive and you still don't have it.

In General, you have two options:
-for order of Toshiba recovery media (it is not for free)
-to get the new HARD drive and test it with the original recovery disk
In any case, don't spend your money before you try to clarify this with Toshiba service.

  • Satellite T130 - Toshiba create USB recovery

    Hello.

    This is the situation:

I have laptop Toshiba T130 with no DVD player. After installing Win7, I shrunk the partition D tool in Win7 and used the free space to install Linux with GRUB. Then I shrunk the partition also C by Win7 tool and free space to create another. This however told me something about the dynamic disk or something...

But he has somehow broken GRUB so I decided to reinstall Linux. But the scores have been somehow broken, but I installed Linux on the last partition. Since then I could not start Windows or repair because partition D has actually been removed!
The C with Win7 partition seemed intact.

Trying to fix the computer and try to start trouble, I got error 0 x 090 or something with partition table error. So therefore, I deliberately decided to create the new partition with Gparted that off my HARD drive. Then I put in place the new partitions: 3 x NTFS, (400 MB recovery, partition Win7 and another) + extended partition containing the NTFS partition + ext4 partition, swap.

Then I copied the hidden files (that I had saved earlier) in a hidden partition on the HDD laptop + I copied folder of Toshiba 3rd NTFS partition recovery (I had backed up the files immediately after obtaining of the laptop).

Now, I'm stuck with 0xc000000e error when you try to start. I also followed this thread: http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=53952&tstart=15

Can you help me with Win7 Starter? And what program to use to make Win7 64 bit USB bootable recovery CD? I tried unetbootin and USB, but they did not...

Any advice will be highly appreciated.
    Thank you very much!

Oh mann what are you do is incredible. ;)
The entire structure of the HARD disk is now screwed upward. I m just wondering why you did that on this small Satellite T130.
I mean it's OK all what are you do and you can do what you want with your machine, but my personal opinion is you're wrong for laptop for all of this.

Satellite T130 is small ultra portable laptop designed to offer the maximum of mobility and offer long battery life, when you are out of office or travel through. So I think that the most important thing for this laptop is well installed and configured the operating system that runs stabile and with the minimum of consumption of energy. This laptop doesn t have the optical disk drive and the overall situation is more complicated if the factory settings are changed.

You now have on the HARD drive is nothing but the jungle and to me, it seems pretty confusing.
If you checked s user manuals document you can find the exact explanation, what can be done with the recovery image saved on the second partition and what type of recovery media can be created.

Recovery image is not designed for use with third-party applications part so it can be problematic to create USB recovery drive.
Thread you link posted is better thread on this topic and if this will not help I really don't know what you can, except for ordering original Toshiba recovery DVD and make the installation of OS to get the factory settings again.

  • Yet when can WT8 - A - I create a USB recovery?

    Hello.

A newbie here and must I say, I had a heck of a job, find the button 'open a new topic '.
I only found it by chance which has landed on the right page.
    Anyway, back to my request.

I always have a brand new Toshiba WT8A still in the box.
    Here another must be told.

I had possession of this unit about a week ago and to cut a long story short, at the suggestion of a drop-down notification of Toshiba I downloaded and installed a BIOS update, it went well.

I was then advised to download and install the update of the installer of Intel. It went well until to half way through and then everything froze, the screen went black and stayed like that for over half an hour or two. When it looked like not commissioning again I tried to start it by pressing the power button on the side, but instead of putting on and working, I got a nasty blue screen informing me that Bitlock had locked my tablet... I panicked!

In my desperation, I have absolutely violated the internet solution to notice that the only solution was to recover the operating system, but the problem was that I didn't have a USB recovery.

I was lucky that Toshiba was kind enough to take possession of the mortared Tablet and restored the device to its factory for me.

So you can see a USB recovery is essential, but the question, at what point can I create them as we know that as soon as you begin to configure things, are supported by internet downloads and everything screams it must be updated and you are bombarded.

To be honest, I'm terrified to BitLock upward again. The irony is that I was not anywhere near BitLock that I know about in its use or its application, but from what I've gleaned, it seems the update Intel had invoked the locking identify what he perceived as a potential problem after that the BIOS updated... or so it has been suggested.

I'll start another post with questions about the BitLock, for now, it is a question of recovery USB and welcome all responses. Do I get messages when a response has been added because I see not a checkbox to request this service. ?

    Concerning

Recovery must be created initially in the best cases after the Tablet has been configured.
The recovery media contains the image of Toshiba, but the recovery media won't back up your current data or setting. It's very important.

Leash so assume you got you filed using this Toshiba recovery procedure.
After this recovery process the tablet will be set to factory settings to the same State as the first date of purchase

Hope I could clarify this issue.

Icon on the screen is just shortened. Please click the button Vista break-ins in the search in all Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator programs. I hope that you will have it in the list on the top of this window to start and you will be able to start this tool.

Otherwise, recovery media can be ordered under https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

  • Satellite L300-13 s - USB recovery instead of recovery DVD discs?

    Hello

Well, for the first time in 8 years I had to do a system recovery using the disks that I created when I bought my l300-13s using the Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator.
I had inadvertently deleted the HARD drive recovery partition when I decided to make a clone with a larger HARD drive.

What I want to know is instead of making recovery discs DVD can only do a USB key recovery?

    Thank you

    Peter.

When you open Toshiba Recovery Media Creator you can see media options that can be created. I m not 100% sure, but I think that the old L300 there was possibility of recovery DVD only so I think that you cannot create USB recovery.
