by replacing. with \. in the string

Hello guys

I'm doing this script to work

There is no environmental variable called removeip and there multiple IP addresses in it... e. g

Event Manager environment removeip 172.17.1.0 172.17.100.0 172.31.8.0

I use these addresses one by one in another script in regexp and so I need

to replace points by------. So it will match correctly.

Event Manager applet rd
event no synchronization No.
set action 010 string $removeip
020 action updates $string
030 string first action "."$string"
040 set index action $_string_result
050 action updates $index
action string 060 replace '$string' $index $index '-.»
070 action updates $string

but action 060 let me use $index, it only accepts that the numbers - so it's useless in this form for me.

Can you please show a way around it in applet?

Thank you

Leo

Some things are better suited for Tcl.  It would be good to see your overall solution / problem such that there could be a better way to solve the system.

However, you can use regexp to rebuild your IPs as you wish.

foreach ip $removeip

RegExp "^ ([0-9] +)------." ([0-9]+)\. ([0 - 9.] (+)"$ip match o1 o2 rest

RegExp "^ ([0-9] +)------." ([0-9] +) ' $rest match o3 o4

escip the value "$o1\.$o2\.$o3\.$o4".

! Do something with $escip here

    Hi all

    Is it possible to index the characters in a string as if it were a table and remove them from the second position and now. I just want with the first letter or number so that I can later concatenate strings to it.

    Thanks for any help!

    -Michael

    Hi Michael,

    Yes. Use the function "Sring subset. At the beginning the value 0 (default value) and the length of 1.

    This will give you the first character in the string.

  • Problem with convert the string to date using DateTimeStringConverter

    Hello

    I would like convert string date (JJ/MM/AAAA) - it is useful to compare dates in TableColumns.

    so I use DateTimeStringConverter (the string "01/11/2014" is a value of date picker)

    DateTimeStringConverter format = new DateTimeStringConverter (Locale.FRANCE,

    "dd/MM/YYYY");

    Date d1 = format.fromString("01/11/2014");

    D1. ToString()

    "I do not get the right date, but that date =" Mon Dec 30 00:00:00 THIS 2013!

    I don't understand what the problem is (which in fact should not be a problem)?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    Fabrice

    You have an error in the spec use format ' dd/MM/YYYY' instead of 'dd/MM/YYYY '.

    DateTimeStringConverter f = new DateTimeStringConverter(Locale.FRANCE, "dd/MM/yyyy");
    Date d1 = f.fromString("01/11/2014");
    System.out.println(d1.toString()); // --> Sat Nov 01 00:00:00 CET 2014

    Hi Asha,

    It should work as well. Note the following, however:

    -your version will be case-sensitive, always which is OK for what you wanted

    -Maybe you left a code, but what you have shown is missing some important steps of allocation/deallocation for use with F_StrCat(). You need to allocate more space before the concatenation of strings and to release all pointers unused when or before you use them again. It might work for now, but I can assure you that inadequate allocation routines are a sure path to memory leaks and crashes in the future.

  • Replace the string with the formatted text

    Hello all - I'm back to my beloved project...

    I want to replace a string by a TextSelction (formatted text) and began with the famous feature of Jang FindAndReplaceString.
    Since my replacement comes from another document (sourceDoc), I edited to targetDoc activeDoc and introduced a second document (sourceDoc).
    The replacePara actually comes from a stone where he had been placed to avoid switch backwards between the documents in a book (where to find and replace) and source documents. In another function, I learned that information on the table requires the sourceDoc must remain open.

    • Of course, everything works fine until I want to insert the replacelement:
      erase line 26 is the string
    • Given that I do not insert a string, I skip lines 28 and 29 and try try line 30
    • On line 30 DocumentSource is Document object and replacePare object TextSelection. However, sourceDoc.replacePara is not set and
    • (as a result?) line 31 past the current contents of the Clipboard.

    Of course, there is a fog around me... and I need some sunshine.

    function FindAndReplacePara (targetDoc, findString, sourceDoc, replacePara, loopMax) {
      var tr = new TextRange();
      var restoreTR, frame = 0, loopCounter = 0, replacementCounter = 0;
      var findParams = new PropVals();
      var firstPgf = targetDoc.MainFlowInDoc.FirstTextFrameInFlow.FirstPgf;

      tr.beg.obj = tr.end.obj = firstPgf;             //  set up the starting text range as the very beginning
      tr.beg.offset = tr.end.offset = 0;              // of the flow. We'll move straight from beginning to end.
      trSaved = tr                                    // to come back after work

      findParams = AllocatePropVals(2);

      findParams[0].propIdent.num = Constants.FS_FindText;
      findParams[0].propVal.valType = Constants.FT_String;
      findParams[0].propVal.sval = findString;

      findParams[1].propIdent.num = Constants.FS_FindCustomizationFlags;
      findParams[1].propVal.valType = Constants.FT_Integer;
      findParams[1].propVal.ival = Constants.FF_FIND_CONSIDER_CASE;

      FA_errno = Constants.FE_Success;                // errno global, to be used to track the progress of the find and replace
      tr = targetDoc.Find(tr.beg, findParams);        // and do an initial find to get started.

      while(FA_errno === Constants.FE_Success && loopCounter++ < 2*loopMax) { //find and replace loop as long as we keep finding
        targetDoc.TextSelection = tr;                 // set up the text range to clear the original text
        targetDoc.Clear(0);                           // clear it

    //    targetDoc.AddText(tr.beg, replacePara);       // insert the new text at the original beginning of the text range
    //    tr.beg.offset += replacePara.length;          //  lets jimmy the text range in memory to place it directly after
        targetDoc.TextSelection = sourceDoc.replacePara;        // paste the whole replacement paragraph
        targetDoc.Paste (0);                          // <-- Current contents of clipboard is pasted !!!!
        if(FA_errno === Constants.FE_Success) {       // increment our return counter
          replacementCounter++;
        }
        FA_errno = Constants.FE_Success;              // ...  find the next instance. We'll reset FA_errno again just in case
        tr = targetDoc.Find(tr.beg, findParams);      // something screwy happened while we were replacing text.
      }
      targetDoc.ScrollToText(trSaved);                // we're done. Restore the document to it's original area of display
      return replacementCounter;
    } // --- end FindAndReplacePara

    Hi Klaus,

    Thanks for the explanation. I remember something like that GetTabRange of the way back. You have been quite patient and persistent with this project, indeed.

    So, as we are dealing with ranges of text here, I think that the only simple approach is to perform a copy and paste. There is no way to save a 'formatted' in a variable. The only super precise way would be to get a data structure of each text range TextItems in the sourceDoc, then meticulously recreate every element of the targetDoc. It would be very complicated, I think, so copy and paste seems the most logical. I wonder, though, if Miss me something, because I think that maybe you would have tried already so yes (?)

    In any case, I would do something like that, from line 30 of your original code sample (code untested here):

    App. ActiveDoc = sourceDoc;

    sourceDoc.TextSelection = replacePara;

    sourceDoc.Copy (0);

    App. ActiveDoc = targetDoc;

    targetDoc.Paste (0);

    ... etc.

    Does make sense, or am I barking the wrong tree, as they say?

  • ANALYSIS OF the CHAIN fails with empty quoted strings

    I'm scanning a long text with the STRING SCAN line.

    "[My problem in the first place of this part: " [^] "]"

    The string I'm scanning a quotes in it - I want to extract the string in quotes as a single item.

    I can't use %s because the string can have spaces that it contains.

    The format string works fine except if the quoted string is empty ("").

    "[I interpret " [^] "]" a number of things that are not a QUOTE, QUOTE, QUOTES.

    Apparently, 'any number' does not include zero, as it fails (error 85: data not matching format) when the quotes are empty.

    What Miss me?

    This confusion arises as well in RegExes, but you hit on the answer: in the Simpsons "Zero is one percent", but in the analysis of String Nothing is not something.  You asked to match something that's not a quote, and there is nothing here that is not a quote, so it complains.

    In this situation if I really wanted to keep the convenience of analysis of string I would generally use Search & Replace to replace "" with "\00" before scan and then process a string that only contains null as empty.

  • How to convert the string with numbers in the table of Boolean 2D

    Hello

    I have input a string with comma separated numbers 1,192 (starting at 1).

    This string must be converted to a table 2D-boolean. Each number that appears should be true, not true rest.

    The 2D table consists of 4 times of 0.47 Boolean values.

    1.48--> [0.47] numbers [0]
    49.96--> [0.47] numbers [1]
    Numbers 97.144--> [0.47] [2]
    145.192--> [0.47] numbers [3]

    If a '1, 49, 97 145' input string put all [0] [0.3] true.

    How can it be easy/fast resolved?

    Thanks for help

    Break the string of numbers in a table of numbers.  (Spreasheet String to Array).

    In a loop For, index with each issue of this table.  Use in the range and Coerce to see if it is in the range of numbers.  (You can put this in a loop For as auto good indexing through the ranges).  If it's in the range, then use subset replace table to activate the corresponding item in a real.  If this is not the case, do nothing.  Maintain the table of Boolean in a shift register.

    Repeat this step for each number in your table.

    (What is a class assignment?)

  • Search and replace the string formatting

    Hello

    I try to do a search and replace the formatting of a string.

    In the example, I'm looking for the string 'SUCCESSFUL', but it must also begin by usbflash and some number + PASSED.

    I can't get the format to have a number between 1 and 99. The number of replacements should add up to 6 in this case. I tried with \d for any number, and I also tried [1-99].

    Make a right-click on the function search and replace the string.  There is an option to use regular Expressions.  Then give it a try.

    EDIT: You need to set the entry replace all to TRUE.

  • Need a bit of help with the string read/write DLL

    I have a DLL that communicates via RS232 with some instruments.

    From 2 numbers (parameter number and a number of processes) the DLL will communicate and extract the values.

    I managed to put in place the DLL to get words, characters, long and floats (single precision).

    Now, it is the documentation that accompanies it for strings:

    ReadString asks the DLL to get the data of the instrument, if succesfull I have others on call GetString to get the string memory.

    I have a few questions:

    -The values of her star (*) are pointers; As I understand it that it points to a place of memory where the value is stored, is - that correct?

    -How do I know if I pass the value to the DLL, or read? For example with GetString Im not sure if

    I should pass the length of the string to the DLL or if it is read

    -How to get the character returned in a string; IM assuming I need to find somewhere a byte array.

    Now I can also write strings:

    As a matter of f:

    -Should I add NULL at the end of the string, or labview does by default?

    My procedure is now: read the input chain, reduce it to the size of the specified string (this is constant according to the setting of the instrument), converted to a byte array and replace the last element of the array with 0 (Null).

    However, the DLL entry expected a character, that I should get in the DLL?

    They can be pointers or buffers. Which of the two is ambiguous in the syntax of C. However, in your case I suppose that piMsgId and pcLen be a pointer to a unique value and pszDest a string buffer.

    -How do I know if I pass the value to the DLL, or read? For example with GetString Im not sure if

    I should pass the length of the string to the DLL or if it is read

    Description is not really clear however most of the C API require today the length of the allocated buffer at the entrance to make sure that they don't overrun the buffer length. They may or may not change this value before returning to indicate the amount of data they actually informed. The pcLen parameter passed by reference probably indicates that this function does this way.

    -How to get the character returned in a string; IM assuming I need to find somewhere a byte array.

    It is not necessary. You can simply set the parameter to a string and must be passed as a C string pointer. In LabVIEW 8.5 or more you can also configure to resize this string for the number of characters as indicates it a different setting of the library to compose the node (CLN), in this case your pcLen. 8.5 you can use a table to explicitedly initialization function create a table Bbyte of the length needed, convert the byte array to string and pass to the CLN parameter. LabVIEW will return automatically only the part of the string up to the NULL character if a CLN is configured as C string pointer

    Now I can also write strings:

    As a matter of f:

    -Should I add NULL at the end of the string, or labview does by default?

    No! If you configure the parameter is a string, passed as a string pointer C, LabVIEW will do it automatically for you.

    My procedure is now: read the input chain, reduce it to the size of the specified string (this is constant according to the setting of the instrument), converted to a byte array and replace the last element of the array with 0 (Null).

        if (!reply->error()){

            emit error(httpCode, reply->errorString());
        }
        reply->deleteLater();
        manager->deleteLater();
    }

    and QML

    function simpleSearch(response){
        indicator.stop()
        model.clear()
        var json = JSON.parse(response)
        if (json){ // is VALID/PARSED
            model.append(json.search_result)
        }
    }

    As I wrote, it is not a good workaround solution. The best is to send VALID JSON string directly from your server. But it works

  • Search and replace the string in a column

    Hello

    In the table the data stored with "" (double quotes), I need to remove these quotes please suggest me how to remove

    Hello

    UPDATE to modify existing rows in a table
    REPLACE to delete a given sub - a to a string.

    UPDATE     tech_sourcing_employee_details
    SET address = REPLACE (address, '"')
    WHERE     INSTR (address, '"')         > 0          -- Maybe
    ;

    This will remove all the quotes of the address.
    If you want to remove the quotes only from the beginning and the end of the string, then use TRIM instead of REPLACE:

    UPDATE     tech_sourcing_employee_details
    SET address = TRIM ('"' FROM address)
    WHERE     INSTR (address, '"')         > 0          -- Maybe
    ;

    The WHERE clause is only for effectiveness.
    So, whenever the column contains quotes, of the double quotation mark is always the first character in the string, then you can change the WHERE clause to:

    WHERE     address  LIKE '"%'
    {code}

  • Replace the strings inside SWF's AS2/3

    There are, on some Board there are a few foreign flashes that predate the internet and effectively anonymous pertaining to the creator, if someone used a program to get the strings in the SWF file (programmed in AS3), machine to translate them and put back them.

    Deal is a machine translation. It's funny, but it's still wrong and I would like to do a good job of translating.

    So to get to the point, I would like to know where I might be able to find a program that can get the strings inside a SWF file that is programmed in AS2 or AS3, show them to me and I would like to replace them with custom text. The reason why I want to do it this way is that I must not decompile SWF. Decompile a SWF is bound to generate errors and I could not have certain fonts inside so I also have little to do with the opening of the thing I can.

    I tried a few solutions, including FLASM (only works on AS2) and others don't bother naming such that they are no longer capable of displaying the AS3 code and not edit or replacement of classes.

    I'm not 'try' anything.  I inform you of your options.

    If you do not find the source files and that you can not use a decompiler, you cannot change the source code.

  • Replace the text in the string

    I would like to know how I could continue to write something that would allow a string of variable length to replace in a longer string, subject 'inner chain' is bounded by something.

    In other words, assume the string is something like
    Tiger Woods +15/09/2010+
    where the character was more used as a delimiter. I would like to extract this possibility to leave Tiger Woods. I can't do a simple substr, because the string can be
    +15/09/2010+ Tiger Woods
    . It could even be
    Tiger +15/09/2010+ Woods
    . Or it could be
    Tiger Woods +September 2010+
    . In all cases, the correct return is plain Tiger Woods.

    Point is, I want to remove everything between the two more brands wherever they appear and return what is left.

    I'm guessing that maybe that's a job for regular expressions, but I dread, so yes, because I'm not very good for them!

    Any help appreciated, so. :-)

    and to be complete - as says hoek - regular expressions can do it well.

    SQL> with t as (
      2 select 'Tiger Woods +15/09/2010+' str from dual union
      3 select '+15/09/2010+ Tiger Woods' from dual union
      4 select 'Tiger +15/09/2010+ Woods' from dual union
      5 select 'Tiger Woods +September 2010+' from dual
      6      )
      7  select regexp_replace(str,'\+.+\+')
      8    from t;

    REGEXP_REPLACE(STR,'\+.+\+')
    --------------------------------
     Tiger Woods
    Tiger  Woods
    Tiger Woods
    Tiger Woods

    4 rows selected.

    Although you will notice let outdoor spaces, you can do another to delete extra spaces.
