• Try to change the drive letter, but get the error "the parameter is incorrect."

  I am trying to upgrade my PC to run Windows 7 64 - bit on a new Intel Solid State Drive (SSD). I install Windows 7 from scratch on the new SSD (which uses the drive letter J) have just completed and changed the drive letter of my original system from C to M.

  My intention was to reuse the drive letter C to the SSD, but the Win 7 disk management tool will not allow the use of C. "All I get is a' setting is incorrect" error message.

  My first thought was to check the location of the Windows page file. It was indeed using drive J, so I put the pagefile on the D drive instead and restarted my PC.  However, this has not fixed the problem. I always get "the parameter is incorrect" when I try to use the letter C.

  What else could be the cause of this problem?

  I tried a change of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices registry but it is just screwed to the top of the new installation of Windows on the SSD (it starts in a unusable mode "is not a real installation"). I was not too concerned by what I had already made my decision to reinstall Windows 7 after making changes in bios to disable all disks except the SSD and force a boot from the installation of Win 7 DVD.

  This relocation is now complete and the new partition on the SSD system has the C drive letter. A reboot with the other shows, active records that the original disc of BONE has been reassigned to the next available drive letter.

  My problem is thus solved. If it was the only way to do so is now a moot point.

  Probably not.  I believe that the recovery program looking for C and D, and if you rename D (your restore partition), you may be out of luck.

  If you do a recovery of the DVD set, then I suppose you are free to rename or even delete the partition of recovery if you so inclined, you will have the DVD to restore from.

  I am new to the animation but enjoyed working in animation character. I created a puppet that animates perfectly for my needs. I just copied the layers from the mouth of the example of character "Seth" in Preview 3.  I have a prerecorded script that I analyzed, and he did a great job. However, there are a few spots that are just a bit.  For example, there is a noise of 'W', which is totally forgotten in the analyzed auto-sync.  If I could just type "W" at this stage it would be perfect.  Another place adds an extra mouth for some reason any one movement fraction of a second after the audio is done.  If I could 'remove' this movement, it would be perfect.

  I know that I can make entries to the keyboard, but I may not know how to do.  I can't stay with her in the real-time recording, and idle, I can't make the words to type the keys.  I broke the lip-sync in visemes, I thought I could get closer, but I still may not know how to do...  Are there tutorials advanced, you can direct me to?

  Allows you to change the "timing" and remove the visemes you want. For the addition of new via the keyboard, select the element of path of puppets in the timeline panel, twirl sync settings of the lips in the properties panel, then click on the small point in front of the entrance to the keyboard so it turns red (you probably also want to disable the Red Audio front point, or simply turn off the microphone) - now When the character is selected, you should be able to use the keyboard to trigger visemes (use the first letter of the viseme, for example W for "W - Oo") during the rehearsal or recording. If you don't get the right of synchronization, you can select the keyboard plug in the timeline panel and the timeline > Split Lip Sync in visemes even once, which will give you a bar for each viseme.

  There is a problem with your installation of OS X. The easiest way, but not the fastest way to fix it is to reinstall the operating system. Unless you are in a hurry or have measured access to the network, it is what I suggest, especially since I don't know if there are any problems with the installation. Please backup all data before reinstalling. You won't need the backup unless something is wrong.

  The below, advanced shortcut if it works, can save you some downtime (and the cost of a download of several gigabyte, if necessary.)

  1 back up all data.

  2. disconnect all external storage devices.

  3. start in recovery mode. Select a language, if you are prompted. The OS X Utilities appears. One of the options is to install OS X. This is not what you do.

  4. This step is only necessary if you use FileVault 2. If you don't know what's FileVault, you use it. Go to the next step. Otherwise, launch utility disk, then select the icon for the volume FileVault ("Macintosh HD", unless you have given it a different name.) It will be nested under another icon of the disc. Select open in the file menu and enter your login password when you are prompted. Then quit disk utility must be returned to the main screen.

  5. Select get online help. Safari will launch. While in recovery, you will have no access to your Favorites, but you won't need them. Load this web page.

  6. triple - click anywhere in the line below to select this option:

  chflags -R norestricted /V*/*/S*/*/Caches

  Copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination.

  7. Quit Safari. You go back to the OS X Utilities screen.

  In the menu bar, select

  Launch the Terminal application. Paste in the Terminal window by pressing the command-V key combination.

  Wait for a new line ending with a number sign (#) to appear. Quit the Terminal must be returned to the main screen.

  9. This step must be performed after the restart, and while you are logged as administrator, not in recovery mode. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

  Select and copy this line as in step 6:

  Paste in a Terminal as before. You will be asked for your login password. Nothing displayed when you type. Type carefully, and then press return. If you do not have a password, you will need to configure one before you can run the command. You can get a warning to be careful. Confirm. You don't need to display the warning.

  If you see a message that your user name "is not in the sudoers file", then you have not logged as an administrator. Log in as one and repeat this step. You don't have to repeat the previous steps.

  Wait for a new line ending with a dollar sign ($) below what you entered.

  10. make as in step 9 with this line:

  sudo /usr/libexec/*/app_sandbox_cache_builder --rebuild-cache

  You can then quit Terminal.

  Have you ever tried to delete the iMovie preferences?  If the elements of the user interface do not, deleting preferences frequently you contribute.

  The sounds you have a sticky key which is in the pressed state.

  Do you mean the box tools that should open via Ctrl + Shift + K or open more to the Toolbox that is displayed via Ctrl + F2?

  Try to press the keys involved several times, see the Web Developer menu for the shortcut keys.

  It is an online publication which, AFAIK, is not in a pdf format. Finally, I found that this really works on my laptop was to hold down the Fn (function) key and press control and print screen at the same time. Which records an image of the page in a temporary storage. I can then use Ctrl-V to paste a picture of the page into a word-processing document. Seems to work very well. And I can use scale font size on the bottom of my Microsoft Word page to enlarge for better readability.

  Hello and hope you can help me with my problem!

  I write a somewhat complicated program (operating mode no case) who has a subroutine called STSOLVE where his entry is always a string from the main program that contains a formula as "'I' = 'V' / 'R', 'R'" and its goal is to replace all the variables contained in "" to the compatible standard CASE generated automatically variable (teiXX where XX is a unique number) and then use the command solve to assess this formula (say final temporary formula "tei1 = tei2 / ') tei3, tei3").   RPART1: = cas.expr (RPART1);

  RESLT: = case. Solve (RPART1, RPART2);  RPART2 contains the string "tei2", "tei1" or "tei3.

  Here again, I get a {} as a result!

  I tried so already a lot of things that I don't know exactly what mention here, but I hope I described the main situation enough to start detailed and of course, I'll give you any other information you might need to give me more help. I tried to paste the entire subroutine, or even the entire program, but I don't have any windows pc to connect the first HP and copy the program. I am writing from an Android Tablet and I should maybe type the everything here is not very easy, I will of course if you ask.

  Perhaps, I should also note that the generated vars tei1, tei2 etc. do not exist as variables in the calculator, but if I copy channels same as the program tries to run in the command CAS.solve and manually write in case screen (not a string of course) then they get solved without problems.

  Hope to get help and learn from you and I wish I could found more help about it online, but it seems very difficult and also all the tutorials I found on the cas.solve command in the programs did not work in my case!
