  I had found a previous thread which suggested updating the firmware, but I can't find a more recent version of the firmware for controllers (embedded or extra).

  I think you are right in assuming that the problem is caused by the firmware being obsolete. The firmware is actually a few updates behind. You can find the latest version of the update here. Updated the fw on the controller and let me know if the VD shows ONLINE later.

• iPhone not found in iTunes help...

  Hi everyone so I use iTunes on windows 10.  My computer recognizes my phone but iTunes does not work.  When I ran iTunes Diagnostics it says the following:

  If you haven't already done so, try these troubleshooting steps. If you are using a USB hub, try to connect directly to the PC. Also try different cables.

  I could get my mic works on my laptop HP G7000 by simply making adjustments to the levels in alsamixer. Just open up Terminal and type "alsamixer" (without the quotes) and use the arrow keys on your keyboard to make adjustments to the mic settings.

• RAID Controller degraded by the Firmware version

  Hi all

  My security system is sending me alert because my RAID controllers being day. RAID controllers are fine, but the State is deteriorating because of the "latest Firmware Version available" which means I can't properly control if something really bad happens.

  Is it possible to disable the alert or lower the minimum version expected? I just can't reboot all my servers just for an update of the RAID firmware.

  No, you can update the firmware without a reboot, but the update will be based in the controller cache until a reset is performed. So yes, you can perform the update without reboot, but it will not take effect until you perform a reboot.

  I'm in vCenter Orchestrator 4.0.1

  When you try to run the workflow work add drive on a virtual machine that uses the LSI Logic SAS SCSI controller I get an error no controller found.

  Which plugin you have configured to talk to your Virtual Center? the plugin 3.5 or 4.0 plugin? If you have used the plugin 4.0, you must use the library-> VC-> * workflow so that the correct objects get used.

• Follow-up PE R610 running RHEL4 with OMSA

  I was pulling my hair out to get working on a PE R610 OMSA.

  I tried several versions of the OMSA and finally managed to get the running version 6.0.1 correctly. But I'm still missing the most important bit of info, I was expecting:

• USB issues after upgrade to 12.0.1 12.1.0?

  I use a scanner to use high range I always use in my virtual machine (because there can be no linux drivers). Its a Fujitsu ix500. The host is ubuntu x 64 14.04 LTS. The guest is Windows 10 x 64. I ran this configuration for some time and have had no problem (since vmware workstation v.9). Recently I have upgraded from VMWare workstation to VMWare workstation 12.1.0 and scanner 12.0.1 enough work. The material of the scanner works fine, but when the scanner finishes analysis and attempts to send the data through the USB software Fujitsu software will just stay there and to block/spin forever. As a first step to be honest, that I don't blame it on vmware.

  I tried following things:

  1 reinstall the software of fujitusu

  2. create the new virtual machine and install fujitsu from scratch.

  3. has tried a new USB cable and plugged into another USB port

  These things has not fixed the problem. I installed 10 windows and the host and, of course, everything started working. Then I reinstalled ubuntu. I finally found a way to make it work. Replace the 3 USB USB 2.0 USB controller compatibility. I obviously don't want to keep like that since I use some USB 3 devices.  I hope that this problem is fixed in the next release, but until then what else can I do otherwise than lower compatibility USB?

  I tried the manual transfer and automatic synchronization of music library, but both ways, it would be just complete all four steps very fast and no songs would actually moved on my device. I tried to turn on and off, turning the cable 8 different ways, update of iTunes (was actually the latest version), but nothing really worked.

  So if anyone has ANY idea what to try next, even if it's the strangest thing that the internet has seen, please write, it would be much appreciated.

• Sync iPod with Windows 10 problems

  I recently downloaded Windows 10 and then only itunes recognized my Ipod (classic) when I click on the "sync" button nothing happens.  (Sync is grayed out in the topic file/devices.  ITunes options are set to sync only checked songs)

  I ran a diagnostic test in itunes with the results below.   The connectivity of the device recognized my ipod test, however the 'sync to device' trial didn't "no ipod touch, iphone or ipad found.  I don't have an ipod touch but classic.  I don't have an iphone.

  Please answer if you know how to solve this problem.

  iTunes recognized my Ipod (classic) when I click on the "sync" button nothing happens.

  Check the settings of music from iPod screen in iTunes...  Select the iPod in iTunes (click the camera button on the horizontal bar), to display the parameters of the iPod in the iTunes window.  The side left (in the sidebar), under settings, click music.  Right, parameters of music on the iPod screen.

  NOTE: All of the songs from the iPod that are not in your iTunes library will be lost.

  Check the box to Sync music, if it isn't already.  Below, if your library iTunes music fits on iPod, you can choose to synchronize entire music library.  Click apply.

  I downloaded the latest version of itunes, and now it doesn't recognize my phone. My Dell laptop PC recognizes the Apple Iphone in Solution Explorer, but does not appear in itunes and my device/iphone does not appear on itunes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes, active / turning off the phone and laptop, but no luck. Can someone please!

• Windows 7 on Envy h9 - 1440t

  I just want to h9 - 1440t.  The material is great, but windows 8 not so much.

  Want to downgrade to Windows 7, but I don't see any of the availble drivers for windows 7.

  Someone else do the same?  Already built recovery discs then I'll give it a try.  Let me know if you have any info on it.

  OK, did not get good advice, but it can be done.  Downloaded drivers from Intel, nVidia and HP technical support site.

  Certainly wouldn't pay for any software driver search.

  Takes a bit of time, but now I have the interface clunky windows 8.

  SMBus controller found on the site to intel.

  Broadcom and Bluetooth are on the HP site.  You may need to download more than once to find the right driver for your hardware.
