Cable and wireless antenna G60-235DX transmitters

The cable, the 25.90727.001 transmitter/receiver antenna located at the top right of the display panel, is cut in half where it passes through the hinge of the screen to the right.  I don't know if it's OK to splice a wire between the 2 ends, so I thought I would just replace everything - transmitter/receiver antenna that has cable with connectors on the other end of the cable that go on the wireless card.  (While I'm there I'll transceiver antenna to replace the 25.90728.001 which is on the top left side of the display panel, because it's cable could start to cut to the left screen hinge.)

> If< i="" can="" simply="" splice="" in="" a="" piece="" of="" wire,="" then="" how. ="" i="" don't="" have="" a="" solder="" gun,="" but="" i="" am very="" familiar="" with electrical="" connectors. ="" connectors="" may="" be="" too="" thick="" for="" space="" where="" cable="" lies="" though. ="" can="" a="" good="" connection="" be="" made="" somehow="">

If I can't connect, then how can I remove the transmitter/receiver to the antenna of the display panel.  The upper part of the transmitter/receiver to the antenna has a hole on each side that are mounted on plastic tabs.  The lower part of the transmitter/receiver to the antenna is a metal piece that feels pasted to display the Panel flat, square.  I just pull/lift it?  Thanks in advance.

Personally, I would not recommend the antennas of the splicing.  As you noted, there is not a lot of room under the LCD screen, and this would make it more likely that something would happen later.

Due to the nature of how wifi antennas go through the lCD screen, I highly recommend the way of the wifi USB adapter if the performance of the card wifi is being affected by such cable damaged. There is much that can go wrong when disassemble the LCD bezel and display, so be careful if you decice to proceed.

See page 4-23 of this guide.  This warranty covers the removal of the LCD panel which includes the steps on the withdrawal of the cables from the LCD screen.  It is not a section dedicated to the antennas themselves, so it can take reading of the different sections to reconstruct how the process should be done.  The LCD removal section covers most of it.

  • I wan to use connections cable and wireless with Windows 7.

I use Windows 7. I have a wired ethernet connection, but also internal wireless.

I want to be able to use both connections. I'm using VMware Workstation and it allows me to specify which adapter to use with the virtual machines. However, when Windows 7 detects there are two cables and wireless, it disables the wireless and automatically uses cable.

    How to use both?

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for the reply. By the brand and model of the PC, I see that there is not a driver designed for Windows 7. Try installing the driver in compatibility mode. Is your problem with the virtual machines that you have running, the host computer, or both? If it's on the host computer and that you have installed the latest driver in compatibility mode for Windows 7, then it is probably a compatibility problem of driver/hardware that by default, this feature in Windows 7 works.

Yes, you can install the printer via a USB port of a PC and the other on the wireless network, network and wireless should not interfere between them.

  • Using the two connections of cable and wireless on a laptop Windows 7

I have a wireless router on my home network, which works very well.  Sometimes, I connect my laptop with a wired connection for faster speed during file transfer.  When I do that, I have 2 network connections: Wi - Fi and wireless.  Should I disconnects me wireless connection, or is it possible to have both connections at the same time?  Is it possible to configure Windows 7 to disconnect the wireless when it detects a wired connection?

    Thank you.

It's OK to have two connections.  Windows automatically uses the one with the highest rated speed.

I don't know how to have it automatically disconnect one of them. Steve Winograd, most Microsoft Valuable Professional (desktop experience)

  • Office jet pro 8600 more: Office jet pro 8600 not available in wired networks and wireless

Have a 8600 JO Plus (CM750A) (N911G), he worked on the wired connection with a static IP address. Then one day she stopped communicating on the cable network. Don't reset to the default values, but still no connection, no activity lights on the connection on the printer's ethernet port. Configure to use the wireless connection. He worked for a while, and then he stopped too much work, could not see it on the wireless network. Reset to the factory settings, yet could not set the wireless connection. She see the SSID of the wireless and allow to enter the password, but would not connect to the wireless network. Now cable and wireless connectivity will not work. I think that the network adapter is broken. What is the OPINION of the Committee of the network so I can order a new one? Connected to USB at the moment and may have a printing station. So OK for now but need a new Board of Directors network. Or any other suggestions on how to connect to wired or wireless. I set factory defaults may times and set a static wired network IP address (which does not stick).

  • Printe all-in - One HP ENVY 7640: Wired AND wireless?

Question: If I buy the above printer, can I print using my Wired

I bought an OiiceJet 6500 has some time ago. I was VERY disappointed. It does not Duples, I get EITHER Witred or wireless (not both). Of ink refills are EXPENSIVE and they only last for a few weeks. After a few months it stopped paper feed and no matter what we tried sound from a white elephant.

I won't be suckered into another very poor printer with the consumables very expensive printer that only half of us can use

    Hello

This printer supports RJ 45 cable and wireless however both can not be active at the same time.

The best configuration that can be used there to connect the printer to the router by Ethernet cable / wireless (depending on your choice).

Connect the iPhone, ipad in the same wireless router.

Use of the HP all-in - One Printer Remote app to print.

Link to the app in Itunes in HERE

You can use your apple TV without an internet connection?  If so, how do install you it?  I have currently basic cable and that you have a wireless router.  Thank you

What you want to do with the ATV without an Internet connection?  It is designed as a device of Internet broadcast, so you can access online content via the big screen in the living room rather than the pocket computer in your pocket...

technically I think its possible but you would still need an Internet connection for the installation and update of the software process and even less to download applications and games, but if you don't have an Internet connection apps/games will probably not work. I don't think that there is 'out of play'...

  • Can I have a home network that is a mix of wired and wireless, and be able to use devices connected to the pc without wire while working from a pc cable and the network map will show all?

I have a router Linksys Wireless-N-large band with 4 catches on and 1 ethernet to my internet modem cable. Wireless connections work well in my relatively small house. Rather than to buy several USB wireless receivers, I thought just to use the ethernet # 1 and plug it into my computer close to the router.

    Hello

Any computer that can connect to the router (wire or wireless) can be part of the same network.

  • Should card pci wireless antenna? -L10 SP

  • F20 - 132 - can I connect a wireless antenna in the antenna of my TV connector?

Hi... I think I missunderstood something when I read the manual of my laptop... maybe someone can help me with this problem

It is possible to connect a wireless antenna uses the same input, used for the TV antenna?

Currently I use an adapter (supplied with my laptop) for my cable TV to work, but without this adapter I can plug an antenna wireless in there?

This seems really strange, but that's what I heard in my manual... or the translation of the English-Portuguese was bad: P

Can someone explain if I can plug an antenna and what type and which connector I need.

THX in advance and sorry for my rusty English

    Hello

The adapter is needed to connect the antenna cable, because the antenna cable supports different jack. If the wireless antenna must have the same cable as a normal antenna if cable adapter is required.
Maybe the 3rd party Wlan antenna has an own map but I n t think so.

  • WWAN card and wire antennas for E7440

I bought a couple of computers Latitude E7440 and I need to install a Verizon 4 G WWAN card in one of them. In the past I have bought from 6430U and have bought and installed used DW5800 (Novatel E362) and they worked very well, even if I had to do some monkey business to get the drivers installed.

Now, I try to install the DW5800 (Novatel E362) of cards in the E7440. The strange thing is that there is no antenna cable to connect the WWAN card, even if it doesn't seem to be a small channel in the chassis. Antenna drivers only I see go to the Wifi card.

I called in parts of Dell and the associate said "the list of parts shows not all antenna son so he need not". I'm pretty skeptical of this.

The map recommended for the E7440 is the DW5808 and he indeed ports antenna on this subject. I didn't found any E7440 to sell broadband installed with network cards. Either they are not available to the general public on the Dell Web site, or maybe they simply do not exist.

So, I'm just trying to understand what card I use and how I am supposed to connect any wireless antenna.

I opened a case of pension guaranteed with Dell and they came out to replace the backcovers by those who would have included WWAN antennas. It turned out that the backcovers were the same as those that I had (Dell part number F9Y55) and does not include the WWAN antenna. More research indicates that the backcover G3D2K is one that includes a WWAN antenna, but it also seems to be able of E7440 the high-resolution LCD and Wi - GIG, which mine does not.

I called Dell sales department to see what happens if I tried to buy an E7440 with WWAN and they told me that currently none of their configurations would include WWAN option, but they gave no explanation for this.

I think the obvious answer is that at the time now by using the WWAN in the E7440 probably is not an option. If you wanted to buy that with the support of Wi - GIG you might at least find some wire antennas and could try to install one of the DW580x cards and see what is happening at your own risk.
