  This problem is rather difficult to describe, and I do not know the correct jargon, so I had to hurt looking for another thread that can ask the same question.

  Situation: I have two applications (this happens with any combination of applications), let's say TextEdit and calculator. The 'focus' is on the calculator. I can type in numbers from the keyboard, or click with the mouse on the calculator figures so he computes. No problem. But, if I want to then bring 'focus' to the TextEdit window - where if I type something - when I move the mouse anywhere on the window in TextEdit and click, it does not update to TextEdit and it remains greyed out. the focus remains on calculator.

  In order to get to restore the focus to TextEdit so I can type, I have to click twice on the app. However, I can't double-click on it or it will minimize the window. I have to click once, wait a few seconds, so it won't register as a doubclick and then click New. Happened for quite awhile, and I think changed after I downloaded some sort of new update, which one I don't remember unfortunately.

  Again, this happens with both applications. I am aware to be able to use the command + tab to switch between apps and I use it often, but sometimes using my mouse to organize windows or any other action is necessary.

  After you have created a new account, you must log out of your current account.

  I think there is an easier way for you to do. Try adding the following to the item you want to play/pause:

  SYM. Stop();

  } ElseIf (playing = false) {}

  SYM. Play();

  }

  This will make the button stop (suspend) the calendar when he plays and play the timeline when it is stopped.

  You must have an account set up under Tools | Accounts | Mail to send from Windows Mail.  If you click on a link, it will not lead you to a webmail interface, but called instead a mail client, such as WinMail.  Around that, the only way is to copy the email address and paste it into a new message you have composed of webmail.

  Usually, this is caused by the font substitution of website with a standard set of fonts. You can check and undo this change on the Options page:

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > content

  Click on the "Advanced" button and if the checkbox "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above" is empty, go ahead and check it out. So OK this change.

The new Macbook for my wife, when I set up Yahoo mail email he accepted the password in the set up procedure, but when I pulled upward the mail in the dock button, it says the connection failed on the Yahoo account. The problem is solved by going to Preferences, select the account and then go into "Edit smtp servers. When you do that, you see that the space for the password is blank, so you put in, hey presto it works. The problem is - the next time that you connect to the post office, you are to square.   I have a Panasonic Toughbook 53 running 8.1 Win and Photoshop CS6. Since the upgrade to 8.1 I often have to click twice before any given tool is activated. So if I press (v) to activate the move tool, my first click on the workspace is essentially a death click on, then the second click moves my image/layer/object. It often happens in Camera RAW as well. It's driving me crazy... any ideas?

  Well I finally understood what the problem was. There is a feature in the settings of Windows 8.1 that allows you to set an offset of the mouse to avoid changes unwanted cursor while typing. Shot he took and problem solved.
