Calendar of blackBerry Smartphones shows for Outlook 2003, in the "BOLD".

Unable to get a monthly calendar to display on "BOLD".  After synchronization, the appointments are displayed only on the date of the appointment, but I don't have the option change the display of a full monthly calendar.

It is a characteristic of the 9000 "BOLD", or is inherent in Outlook 2003 or is it something else?

I just installed Desktop Manager on my PC (Windows XP).

around on this issue... the only way I found to fix this was to reset the device completely and synchronize "fresh" from my computer. Note: has happened since then, and every time that it is when I use the camera to change a recurring APPT. For now, my lessons learned: whenever I need to edit or delete a recurring appt, I do it from the computer so I do not get locked out of sync to the storm.

  • Sync blackBerry Smartphones BB Storm: Outlook 2003 calendar destruction

When I synch, Outlook calendar items over 60 days get marked for deletion. I went into the device calendar, options, both General and changed the setting of 60 days to Forever. I resynched, and the device is still trying to remove items from Outlook calendar more than 60 days. I rebooted the PC and BB and the problem persists. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Try the next option in the configuration of the synchronization of the Calendar Manager.

Use the "transfer within a range of days" and set the options for the length of your total calendar.

Let us know if that helps.

  • Sync blackBerry Smartphone Email - MS Outlook 2003

BB Curve 8900 with two email addresses.  The two addresses seem to have been properly introduced when configuring synchronization... which is, they both appear on the device and the two send/receive messages.  The reception section is selective, however.  A group of six emails received during the night from the same source, two only arrived on the device (all six arrived on the PC).

    Thoughts?

-Outlook takes care to leave a copy of messages on the mail server as per:http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB12283

If not; set up and watching him work.

Ah, well, that answers the question. The data Plan, that's what you need to access the wireless data network when not connected to a WiFi network.

  • BlackBerry smartphones move contacts from a nokia, the BOLD 9700 phone

    Dear Sir.

How can I move the contacts of your Nokia for the Bold9700

    Best regards

    Thanks in advance.

It all depends on WHERE the nokia phone contacts are located in the phone's memory?

So, if Nokia phone has a micro usb port (does?) use Desktop Manager > switch device Wizard.

If this isn't the case, then you might need to find the forum a users Nokia to determine how you can export contacts from nokia on your computer in the form of an ASCII text file so that you can import this file into Outlook via BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Still another way would be to use miQLive.com > download your contacts from phone nokia on this site, and then install miQlive on your BlackBerry and restore this site to your BlackBerry contacts.

    Good luck.

  • Software BlackBerry made Blackberry connection problems with Outlook 2003?

I tried to look through the forums to see if theres any other mention of this but could not find something but it definitely seems to be a problem with one of our PC

My wife has a Win XP SP3 system and running Office 2003 and 2003 Ourlook which, until the installation of Blackberry link worked fine.  When she installed link BB and hung the BB Z10, there was questions first with him saying she had no Media Player installed... She did it... Finally after reinstalling the BB link a few times he seemed to get the message and was able to see Media Player... everything seemed fine, but I was puzzled as to why the link / Unit decided to create a new network icon for Blackberry virtual private network?  After using the link and its Z10 a few days ago she noticed that when she ran outlook 2003 on the system for some reason, she was unable to receive the incoming pop3 to his two accounts mail. She got the following error message...

Task 'pop.gmail.com - receiving ' reported an error (0x800408FC): "the specified server name is found on the network (it might be down temporarily).» Please check that you are connected and that the server name is correct. »

I messed around with the system for a few hours Googling the problem and changing the settings and then change their return but nothing seems to change... and then, after a restart (with not really changed parameters), he started working again?  Last night she again connected the Z10 and ran link synchronized music to his device and then tried to collect e-mails via outlook and he starts again giving an error?

Although I am very HE warned I have only a limited knowledge of the comms etc but I think it might be something to do with the use of IPv6, we use Plusnet as an ISP and according to me, they work mainly on IPv4 currently, while we have installed IPv6 protocols check States online do not use us actually use IPv4 instead.

I have so far not been able to solve the last problem that outlook always gives the show of error above, although on the verification of the account set up, it shows that it is configured properly and always allows him to send an email from outlook and she can always send and receive on the Z10

Any advice on what to try to resolve this situation would be received with gratitude...

    Savel'evna

    Hey Savel'evna,

    Thanks for the quick response.

I am pleased to see that we have highlighted in this one machine, if you will not tie the Z10 BlackBerry as modem then you can keep the VPN BlackBerry off.

Another that what could it be causing a conflict with the BlackBerry VPN, to be honest, I have an application that causes problems with the BlackBerry VPN connection and I have to turn off sometimes.

Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.

    See you soon.

  • Outlook Express 6 is the e-mail client 'default' in Works 8.5, can remove this icon and or replaced by Outlook 2003 or the 'other' no matter what version of outlook?

    Hi all

I have an old Dell Dimension 2400 desktop running Windows XP Pro. It has Microsoft Works 8.5, which contains a reference to Outlook Express 6 icon, so that it can be launched from inside Works 8.5.

I use NO Outlook Express 6, because I have Outlook 2003 AND Outlook 2007, can I use on it instead, if I want to - which I am not at the moment.

Anyone in this community know if it is possible to remove the icon from Outlook Express 6 to Works 8.5.

(and possibly 'replace' the icon with one for Outlook 2003 so that THIS 2003 version opens instead?)

There is no icon in Add/Remove programs for Outlook Express, or y at - it one in the "all programs" list. Is it possible to uninstall Outlook Express Windows XP completely somehow so that it does not Works 8.5 launch when a user clicks on its ' icon?

This version of Outlook Express does not work anyway (I tried to set up accounts in there, but they do not work even with the correct details) so it's wasting space on this little hard drive.

I want to be able to implement this old pc - that works fine as long as I accept his ' limits (Intel Celeron 2.4 Ghz single core cpu, 2 GB of Ram, 80 GB HDD)-for the nephews and my 11 years old 7yr to use it safely for the duties of the school, (I have a copy of the Encyclopedia Britannica 2006) , basic base 'games for kids' Web site, when they come to visit. My nephews have not much experience pc anyway and have no interest in the emails.

There is no other applications on it (which were not ' provided with Window XP Pro") for the moment, outside Works 8.5 and Windows Live nephews will have access to.

Norton Internet Security 2012, Norton Utilities, Norton go back 4.2 and control Parental Norton will be also created on this pc with Admin access only.

Otherwise, anyone here know of any 'other' app is similar to 8.5 Works that have the same characteristics of the task/project based - but without email - that I could use instead, which would continue to operate on an old XP pc?

I would greatly appreciate any ideas or advice from someone who wants to give it.

    Thank you!

    Bob

I can probably only partially help because I've never used Outlook or works.

Outlook Express is a part of XP, so it cannot be deleted, and probably, it takes less space than Norton.

Control Panel | Add/Remove programs. Add/Remove Windows components. Find Outlook Express and uncheck the box.

Control Panel | Add/Remove programs. Set Program Access and Defaults. Custom + down arrow | Select the option for Outlook 2003.

Start with that and see where you are.

  • Troubled Smartphone blackBerry sync Blackberry Curve 8530 for Outlook

I have a new Blackberry Curve 8530.  When I put in place, I was able to sync my calendar Outlook for the BB but not my contacts.  I was unable to sync my contacts because it says that my BB has been implemented for wireless synchronization.  I tried to follow the instructions for tea off wireless sync, but when I go into options in my contacts there is no wireless synchronization field to change.  What Miss me?

Also, I've updated my operating system, and now I am unable to sync my calendar.  When I try to select data from the organiser at synronize, it wont let me select Calendar because it is said that schedule is not installed (and it won't let me select address book, because he says that it is wireless synchronization).   I reinstalled my BB Desktop software, and I read on another post that gmail can be a problem, so I don't have my gmail account on my BB. Help!

When I open my BB Desktop manager on my computer, I get a message saying "unknown error reported," it's why I reinstalled my Destop software, but I still receive this message after reinstalling.

    Thank you.

It is once again the OP who has now solved its problem.  In case anyone has the same problem, it turns out that you cannot synchronize your bb to a VPN calendar.  So, I managed to change my default calendar for gmail by going to Options and then Advanced Options, and then click default Services - you can select your default calendar and address books here.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to change settings of the calendar from 06:00 - 21:00 09:00-17:00 display?

I have a Blackberry Curve and use Outlook 2007 with Exchange Server. Everything works well and syncs BUT my Blackberry calendar display only shows an appointment from 09:00 - 17:00.  I am PDT but working with people EDT so frequently appts at 07:00 - 08:00. I also have appts tonight I want to discover.

The appts appear correctly on my computer in Outlook and the 9-5 ones are displayed correctly. I'm sure it's something obvious, but I could not find a setting on the Blackberry or Outlook. The Outlook files are pushed downwards by a 3rd party Exchange Server provider.
