  Fingerprint reader works fine when the computer starts. The drive works fine if I manually lock the system.   Not sure what happened all of a sudden with my laptop, but it does not load windows. This is the error msg I get:

  I tried using the recovery disk for the repair of the system and using the sfc/SCANNOW utility, but both just run it for hours (12) and not going anywhere.

  I tried reinstalling the RAM and nothing.

  1. enter in BIOS
  2. restore default values
  3. exit & save changes

  Youre system should boot in AHCI now again. If you get the same message:

  1. enter in BIOS
  2. go in advanced
  3 set mode Compatible HARD drive / IDE
  4. exit & save changes

  To enter the BIOS F2 press until you initialize (directly after pressing the power key press F2 continiously).

  Well, I'm having some trouble loading with my HP ENVY. My laptop does not load as I'm with her. It will charge, but it does charge when the laptop is closed and sometimes if it has locked and disabled.  I don't know if it would be the battery or the power supply? Maybe something internally?

  * If I close the lid and plug in the charger, the light indicates orange and the battery will deliver to load almost exhaustive *.

  * I tried to waste the battery. I removed the battery and the AC adapter is plugged in. I tried to turn on the laptop or don't put in place *.

  I don't have to replace anything yet. I was hoping to find out if anyone has had this happen to them before.

  In the latest version of Gmail, no history of search form will save, but it does in the old version of Gmail.   Anyone having problems with black and white squares, launch Bridge and go in Camera Raw preferences and at the bottom of the window make sure 'use graphics processor' is DISABLED.

  This is a temporary work around, but it's going to at least squares disappear.

  I suggest you to check and clean the boot if the problem persists.
