Camera fault Possible of blackBerry Smartphones

This is my first Blackberry device and I'm really happy with it, but it has a serious problem with the camera, so not a good introduction to the Blackberry.

When I use the camera app & onenote camera in video mode or camera screen flashes very briefly a Pink/Purple and a damaged pixels column appears on the left hand side, the bursts of Pink/Purple continues then to 10-15 second internvals, not ideal for a premium phone.

Anyone else have similar problems?

I went to Carphone Warehouse in Guildford, and they had one in stock. They replaced my camera and my other seems fine.

  • Is it possible to blackBerry smartphones?

I am trying to access my email (provided by my Internet service provider) account on my blackberry 8320 via my WiFi at home (so not through the mobile operator). Is it possible to configure the BB 8320 so that when I am connected to my WiFi at home, I could receive my emails (pull method)?  If so, I would be very happy of how to proceed.

Same question to be able to use the browser via my Wifi (I already configured the WiFi browser "in the options but does not not so far")

    Thanks fo your answers!

Do you have a data Plan of BB from your provider?

No, you cannot access your mail via WiFi; There is no method of 'pull' with RIM, all emails are "pushed" to the device.

  • Question of camera and storage of blackBerry Smartphones

Every time I try to use my camera the following message appears: there is not enough available space on the device to store more pictures.

I followed the advice and deleted all my old photos from the phone, but the message remains displayed.  The phone is a phone refurbished, replaced by the insurance company and I don't know if the fault is the reason.  I had my recon phone 2 months but did not notice this problem before 3 weeks that I use to take pictures often.  Can anyone help? Thank you

Open your camera application > Menu key > Options > scroll down and set your camera STORE IN the default location on your media card, not the memory of your device.

Who should take care of this. Assuming that you don't have a memory card in the camera.

  • Fault data/internet BlackBerry Smartphones?

Hello, I just received my bb back from repair, and when I came back it was locked once again to another carrier. I unlocked it with code MEP that the carrier provided and am now running the phone with O2 UK sim card.

Im not sure if the above is relavent, but since ive used the phone this time, none of the internet or data services will work. I have a data plan on my contract (unlimited) but when I try to connect to the internet through the browser I get the following error message "error occurred during parsing XML: end tag does not match the start tag 'head'." also when I try to use windows live messenger I get an error message saying: service not enabled for this laptop! ""

any help would be massively appreciated.

Once a device is unlocked, it cannot be "re-locked."

Then, you probably actually got another device in return, probably a remanufactured unit.

Do you remember the PIN of the old appliance? If you which to the AXIS of the current system, I bet that you will find the different pins.

That all means, your SIM card and the data Plan with O2 is not connected on the new device. Sign in to your account on O2 BIS and the use of the section change the device to enter the new code PIN and IMEI.

  • Fault of sync blackBerry Smartphones

Sync my Torch 9800 has always worked for me, until today. It goes through all the motions, but stops with a message 'Conversion data BlackBerry calendar' (new line) 'read 3450 records. '

I rebooted the PC and the phone.

Office software is version 7.1.0.41 Pack 42

terminal software is bundle version 6.0 2475

Does anyone know why it suddenly stopped working?

    Thank you

Do not know how long will be my luck but I have found a workaround.

I wiped the own calendar and started on. Synchronization worked OK.

Sounds to easy be true, as far as RIM have worked on the problem for nearly two years and have not found a solution.

  • Images of camera/chip/developing for blackBerry Smartphones

I have a BB Torch.  How to transfer photos from the chip for development?  Thank you.

    You cannot save both.

You can use BlackBerry Desktop Software on your PC to synchronize your media files on your PC or you can simply move the photos one by one in the memory of the device to the media card. To do this, you will need to go in the Media folder, press the menu button and select "explore". Then look for the folder that contains your pictures and move them one by one to the media card.

  • Possibility of blackBerry Smartphones to have some number of rings when the phone is "off" or "quiet"?

When I turn my phone 'off' or 'calm' ring, I'd love to be able to program the phone for that comes from any call from my wife, while all other ring at all.  Any way to do it?  Thank you

When your phone is 'off' no call will happen, but you can have the ringtone and following will continue to apply.

When the profile is defined for you calm down can have important calls pass: scroll to profiles > click on > scroll down > advanced > scroll down for important calls > touch menu > you can create a new exception or use the s 'important call' a > edit > add a contact in the top bar, for example, your wife, you can also choose a ringtone custom for important calls.  Now, even if the phone is set to silent or vibrate, the important call will ring through.

    Hope this helps you.

    • with a few OSes 5.0.X.X, BBm is a basic application and cannot be deleted.
    • BUT the other OSes, the BBm 5.0.X.X became an addon application and can be removed. (i.e. 5.0.0.43 6 and 5.0.0.462)

If you have the first category OS, I suggest you try and install BBm for example using AppWorld. Perhaps by upgrading BBm, it will become an add-on.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry protect site does not recognize my camera

Afternoon, my blackberry was stolen last night so I went on the blackberry protect site to wipe my data, etc, but the site indicates 'add device '. my camera is not displayed? can someone please? I know that it has been permanently installed on my phone because there always used to tell me that my backup was successful, after having saved and also, it is on my blackberry app world.

The only way to recover data from backup BlackBerry Protect is with a BlackBerry smartphone.  You will need to get another BlackBerry, BlackBerry Protect using your BlackBerry ID login, then download the backup data on your new phone.

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones frozen at startup. Need help as soon as possible.

Woke up this morning to find my Torch 9800 had run out of battery is completely dead. When I tried to charge the phone, the start screen came as normal, but it froze when he got up to a certain point, I took out the battery and replaced it after 30 seconds, the phone began to restart and then frozen at the same point.

I reinstalled the OS on my Blackberry Desktop and have tried this several times today, but it freezes always at the same point, after about 20-30 minutes to let the phone finally very slowly her!

I was wondering if someone can help me? At the moment my phone is completely useless to me because it froze again.

A couple of days, that my blackberry was showing messages telling me that I had to close the web pages because the memory was full, I just ignored this message but don't know if its has contributed to the problem?

    All answers are appreciated.

You probably (I suppose) have a third-party application or theme do something.

Try to start the machine up in Mode without failure.

Article ID: KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode

Once started in safe mode, remove/uninstall third-party applications and themes. And then try to restart again normally.

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    Hello

I would like to know how can I have dial-up networking (via my Pearl 9100 OS 6 as a modem for my Macbook Pro 6.2 wireless) and also the information that should be applied for Telstra Australia...

    Thank you

Note carefully please that this feature requires your service plan to include the ability... not all levels of service include plan, and not all carriers offer. In addition, sometimes additional software for your computer must be obtained from the carrier. But, carrier specific questions should be directed to the carrier... here, we can only give you the credits information... your operator must provide you with all of the specific information required.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphone camera has stopped "zoom." Why?

This is my first BlackBerry and my first post on the forums here.

Must say that the phone itself is by far the best that I got, was a Nokiaphile of years and won't come back if it's how beautiful life can be!

Problem is I can't zoom while taking a photo more, is the only fault with my BlackBerry so far. Used to be, but not now. More weird.

    Any ideas people?

    Congratulations to all.

With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    Try again the zoom.

  • BlackBerry smartphones cannot add a language to my device

    Hello

I am trying to add the French language on my camera and to remove Russian and Arabic which are implemented in it.

In the desktop software, I can't find any specification to do this. When I press 'Applications' - there is no alternative than matks the possibility to add or remove languages.

    Can you help me?

Hello and welcome to the community!

    Please start here:

    • KB05305 Location of support for BlackBerry smartphones
    • KB13067 How to get language for BlackBerry smartphones packs

In general, it is the package BB OS exact that you install (via your PC) to your BB, and further, then by selecting the languages that you want to appear on the BB. Is what I recommend, on a PC (you can't do this on MAC):

    1) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (2) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (3) download and install to your PC, the BB OS package you want:

    (4) If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML (there will be at least one, maybe 2)

    (5) run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC. If, during the process, your BB votre BB a '507' error, simply unplug the power cord of the BB USB and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

    Do not forget to save.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:
